This was bought as an upgrade to my GTX 780 card specifically due to the fact that my target resolution for gaming is 2560x1440, with NVidia being my choice of card due to the fact that I own a GSync monitor. My base system is about 5 years old, although as games have pushed the boundaries I have upgraded as follows.i5 2500k processor factory overclocked to 3.6 GHZ.Gigabyte Z68X-UD3p-B3 motherboard.32 GB DDR3 System RamWindows 10 Professional 64bit Operating System. The GTX 1060 Super Jetstream has an oversize cooler which means that it encroaches downward into a third expansion slot space on your motherboard. In most cases this probably wouldn't matter but is something to consider if you are limited in space.Length wise the card is shorter than my old GTX 780, which barely fit into my case, but again for those with smaller cases is something that needs to be taken into consideration. However in general the GPU looks good and is easy to set up if you are used to tinkering inside your system, and only needs 1 6pin PCI-E power connection to supply the additional needed power.Connectivity wise the back of the card carries 1 DVI port, 3x Display port, crucial if you are thinking of surround gaming in the future, and 1xHDMI port.Perfomance wise I have tested this on a number of my games at 2560x1440 resolution, both old and new with a view to giving some actual figures, rather than just saying the card runs blisteringly fast. The caveat being that these were run on a GSync monitor so that for me the gameplay always felt smooth so long as the framerate stayed above 30FPS. The nenchmars through up some suprises. In most cases I disabled AA as at the target resolution, jaggies are rarely an issue.Shadow of Mordor - all settings maxed. the game ran at a relatively stable 55 FPS throughout, and this was despite using the Ultra Textures and AA, one of the few times that I was able to truly max out my game settings.Batman Arkham Knight - again all settings maxed and all nvidia gameworks features turned on the game for the most part ran between 50 and 60 FPS with donuts in the Batmobile and fast dives from a rooftop sometimes dropping the game into 37-39 FPS for a very brief time which was unnoticeable in gameplay terms.Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt - Ultra settings with AA and hairworks disabled, can turn in variable framerates but looks gorgeous. Depending what was happening on screen meant that framerates were fluctuating rapidly. Again at these setting I didn't feel that gameplay was affected adversely as the game remained above the GSyncs required 30FPS which avoided stutter. For the most part the game stayed within a 40 to 50 Frames per second average at these settings.Dirt Rally - All settings maxed ran at around a stable 50 FPS average.Assassins Creed 4 - Black Flag all settings maxed except for AA and PhySX which were disabled. Just for fun I decided to try an older title. Running AA and PhySX actually bought the game to it's knees, dropping framerates into the the realms of sub 20 frams at times due to the lack of a dedicated second GPU for PhySX, although I intend to tinker to see if I can improve things. Once these 2 were taken out of the equation however the game for the most part ran at a locked 60FPS, occasionally dropping to the mid 40s. The games itself without tweaking is locked into 60FPS as a maximum refresh rate despite your monitor. If the frame rates seem a little low, remember that this is at a high reoslution, and in all cases provided a seamlessly playable experience, with the caveat that I was running this on a GSync monitor. For the average user who just want to game This card is a must buy, with the 6 GB of VRAM providing more than enough ram for the tested titles.

This card is an amazing entry level card this is the card you want. For the power it provides it is dirt cheap. The jet streams have some of the highest factory clock speeds these cards can have. That means that if don't feel like squeezing extra juice out of the card your self you don't need to worry and if you do well chasing that magic clock number just got a whole lot easier for you.Pros-Cost Effect-Best of the 1060 (clock speeds)-DX12 Compatible-Will probably run must games on High/Ultra based on the rest of your rig.-Easy set (nvida driver system takes over)-Can be overclocked easily-Comes overclocked out of the factory-Low power consumption-Colour Changing LEDsCons-Very Large Width (onsome motherboards will over up other expansion slots or ports)-Not a 1070-Can not be Overclocked very high (only one 6pin so power is limited)Performance in my rig:If you have a fairly average rig you can probably play most games in ultra\high graphics. So my specs are as follows just so you can bench your self against PC this card went in.#8gb ddr 3 ram#AMD FX 8350 standard clock#Samsung ssd 850 evo (250gb)I haven't list everything only parts that have a major impact on frames per second. As you can see with Sub par specs you are probably capable of running most games between 60-100 fps.The look:Apart from performance the aesthetics of the card as very pleasing they fit in with almost any case. The card its self is grey/silver how ever you can change the LEDs colour on the side of the card with the packaged software. Its very simple you can select from a series of display programs from static colour the colour based on the temperature of the car. This will allow it to match any colour scheme.Very Big:One of the issue I ran into was the size of the card. The extra fans make the rest of your motherboard a lot less accessible. With this card i managed to over up 2 out of 4 of my SATA ports. I was originally going to run raid 0 on my ssds how ever due to the card covering my additional ports I am forced to run just a single ssd. (this maybe only an issue for me as I have an old cheap micro atx mobo) On newer mobos or bigger your ports will not be in the same area so you this might not be an issue for you.Would I recommend this?I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is using anything less than 970. This is very much the cheap and cheerful end of the performance spectrum. If you want to play everything in high with a frame at 1080p with out breaking the bank this is the card for you. If you want to play 4k save your money go buy a 1070 you will only be disappointed with average sub 30 fps @ 4k.

I ordered this card for an upgrade to my home built gaming PC, and it fitted perfectly in the Fractal Design Arc Micro ATX case. The card is slightly larger than 2 slots as the cooler takes up half of the 3rd slot - just so you are aware in case you have anything else close by that would get in the way. It has a decent metal backplate and feels very solid and well built. I hadn't thought of buying Palit before but the price and some reviews of this card I read led me to it and I'm very pleased with it.Installing the drivers was a breeze, and the supplied disk also contains Palit 'Thundermaster' app which allows you to change the LED colours of the card along with setting the fans on Auto or Manual. There is also an 'Overclocking' settings but I don't intend on using that for any reason, the card is plenty fast enough for me.There is also a dual BIOS on the card which you can change via a tiny toggle switch if you did have any issues when performing an upgrade, useful if anything went wrong and quite thoughtful of Palit to include this.Playing Fallout 4 yesterday (1920 x 1200) for a few hours with the game setting on Ultra, the card was totally silent with the fans set to auto, I couldn't hear any noise at all from it and zero coil whine. The card draws 120 watts which is excellent given its performance and it takes a 6 pin power cable. Palit recommend the PC's power supply running this card is 400w which is what I have and it runs everything fine. A userbenchmark test I ran on my gaming PC gave the card a score of 95.7% - 'Outstanding' and 'Performing above expectations' 85 percentile. If you want to read some reviews on the card itself, Google 'Palit GTX 1060 Super JetStream' and there are plenty of indepth details for you there. All in all a decent card at a decent price and I have to give it a well deserved 5 stars.Happy gaming!

First, was upset with Amazon on this. Am a Prime member and this was clearly marked as Prime. When ordering it did not default to next day delivery as is normal. So had to wait 8 days to receive it as being shipped from Amazon Italy. Luckily I had ordered in advance so not an issue - and was £10 cheaper than anywhere else. Did arrive on the promised day - just not the next day !!!!Installed very easily - just make note that this is a double height card so will block a second slot on some mobos. Drivers installed first time.On the plus side, this is a very short card, so will fit in any PC case. In my case, the installation leaves loads of room for the HDDs - can remove them without taking the card out which is a plus. This card also does not need an additional 6-pin connector from the PSU - it draws all its power from the mobo - which is good. The fan is silent - or at least makes less noise than the PSU and case fans.I have this card driving 2 1080p monitors and a 32" 1080p TV - all perfectly - which is excellent.I am not a gamer, but benchmarks indicate that it will play most games at good rates and 1080p.Supports picture and video editing and blu ray TV play back really well + streaming of live TV through apps like KODIFor the price a great little video card

Not bought an Nvidia card previously as thought AMD offered better VFM. however this came up on a deal and I needed a small form factor GFX card for my HTPC build. I am blown away by the performance of this card for the money. It only uses the PCI bus for power so draws around 75w at full load. It even offers a bit of overclocking potential (not too much though as does not have the additional 6 pin power connector that more 'extreme' versions of this card have, which means you need to be careful how much power you draw through the PCI bus.) I have had it at 1550 core clock and 8000 memory clock and nothing blown. It offers great basic speed for the money will it play this years AAA at 60 fps on ultra settings?no, of course not, but at medium setting yes it does. Over clocked I got 90 fps on BF4 ultra (an older title admittedly), I play this game at low settings for game play reasons and it plays at over 160 fps with a mild overclock.

Ther are over 13 diffrent Gtx 1060. What a headach..The Gtx 1060 pailt is 1080p / 1440p cardThis card ultra all my games Gta v.Rb6.Forza horizon 3.Fifa 17.BF1 beta. The division. Etc.This card is so light compared to my Evga ssc gtx 960 4gb. This card runs silent. The fans run like evga acx 2.0. They won't kick in untill the card temps hit 50 degreas. This card only needs one 6 pin. There is no back plate.plus Ther is No sli on this card because it would beat GTX 1080. I will always recommend duel fan card over a single fan like the evga cards...Unless you plan to get FTW edition at £349 ? Thats just crazy. Thats GTX 1070 money. Overall for the price this card is hands down winner. Just under £250.With 80 percent increase in performance over gtx 960.Defo Avoid getting 3gb version.6gb is way to go for future proof gaming and vr. Good Job palit. Tks amazon.Good luck.

Graphic power comparable to a GTX 960 so will do you well for most games at 1080p & 60 fps. Also partially exhausts hot air out the back which is important for compact buildsThe Best value Gaming VIdeo Card from the Nvidea camp in my opinion has to be the GTX 1050Ti . In 1080p it will run most games at 60fps with at least medium settings. Prices start from only about £130 and it will even out do the older GTX 960 ( the previous value 1080p card ). Best of all it has a very low power draw and also comes in mini versions as well so you probably won`t have to upgrade anything in a standard computer just to be able to use it.Of course the higher cards in the GTX 10 range will crush it performance wise but the price hikes are very steep for them plus some people may well be needing to upgrade other parts of their PC to cope.

Good performing card for the money. One word of warning however - the card draws up to around 75 watts, and if you are putting one in a pre-built office machine, don’t assume the power supply has enough spare capacity. With my machine, a Core i7 based Dell Optiplex with the original 275 watt power supply, I saw a lot of freezes and blue screens while playing games with the GTX1050Ti in. Upgrading to a 650 watt power supply (overkill, but with enough headroom for future upgrades) cured the problem completely. So, if you are considering this card you may need to factor in the cost of a power supply upgrade. If that is not an option, it may be safer to go for a card which draws less power,a GT1030 or an AMD RX550.

Constantly surprised by this card, I was worried 3gb wasn't going to be enough however it's played every game I've tried with ease The Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed Unity, Arkham Knight, The Rise of The Tomb Raider, Dying Light & Resident Evil 7 to name a few.The card stays very cool & quiet and was also the cheapest I could find at the time of purchase.I might add I use this in my second rig which is only running a 1080p monitor although I have tested it on a 1440p monitor & it runs fine though it's not something I would recommend for AAA gaming at anything higher than HD.

I've been using the graphics card for a couple of days and I think it's awesome. It may not have the best cooler on the market, but it does its job well enough. Card is very power efficient and it can be used with a 300W power supply - if it's well made.Cooler feels a little plastic and fragile, not on the level of Asus Strix, Palit Game Rock or Gainward GLH series, but there is no denying the card is cheaper, and really you will probably not moving it after instalation.

Super happy with this card. Bought it as a placeholder until I can get a 2070 next year. Ran a few benchmarks on it and has performed much better than expected. One of the benchmarks I ran was the user benchmark test and it performed in the 95th percentile. It runs Minecraft with shaders at 30-60 FPS and Yakuza Kiwami 2 at medium settings at 50-60 FPS when paired with a Ryzen 7 3700X and 16gb of Corsair vengeance LPX 3600mhz ram. So all in all a really good cheap card

My daughter’s computer had an old Radeon card in it. After 2 years, the fan started to get noisy. Faced with replacing the fan, I decided on a replacement (silent) card. Installation is easy, no power cables, Windows 10 recognises it instantly and the drivers went in first time.Good replacement card for ‘not much money’.If you’re buying this as a parent - be REALLY careful about the kind of games your kids play. This won’t handle much more than Warcraft.

I needed a low power card to get an old PC running, this fit the bill perfectly. Browsing is fine and video plays perfectly, but it's not going to run much in the way of games. Be sure that's what you want. If you're gaming you should probably get something more powerful. Gave it the full 5 starts though as I knew what I wanted and this fit the bill at a very good price.

15.5.2017

For about 5 years I have used an AMD Phenom !! X4 965 processor with on board graphics which worked perfectly until a windows 10 update a few months ago. I kept getting BSD with message which I think was "Power Driver System Failure" and my PC slowed right down. After much trial and error trying to find the problem I installed this card and everything is perfect again.

13.2.2017

Very power efficient but powerful as it does not require any extra power leads such as a 6-pin PCI-E connector. Can run games like Mirror's Edge @1080p, medium/high with a smooth 50-60 fps. Would highly recommend this card though if you have the extra £30-40 the GTX 1050 TI would likely be a better alternative with its extra cuda cores and 4GB GDDR5 RAM.
