There are 2 groups of consumers for this product: casual gamers and 4K video enthusiasts. Both of them should be impressed by this card performance. When it comes to games, make sure you read the benchmarks first. This is a card which will allow you playing titles like Rocket League or DOTA 2 in 1080p with 60 fps or more. All that in absolute silence. For about £80 it's a must-have, unless you plan on playing fresh AAA titles. Those will require at least 1050 Ti for almost twice that price.Media is where this card fully shows its purpose: it handles 4K 60fps video files faster than any TV box out there. 90GB file with 10-bit color & HDR? Not even a challenge. More than that, the card won't even heat up when playing them for several hours straight (!) This makes it perfect for any noiseless & future-proof HTPC, even the slimmest of them (low profile bracket included).Installation takes just a moment and the drivers work perfectly, providing you the latest Nvidia software for both playing and recording the gameplay. The screen is recognized instantly and correctly, no matter if it's a 1080p monitor or 4K TV. The image is crisp and clear, colors vivid, there are no issues with image refreshing or scaling. So why this one from all silent GTs 1030 out there? At first you cut out the GDDR4 versions (almost 3 times lower memory bandwidth), then the MSI GDDR5 version (almost £20 more for HDMI + DisplayPort instead of HDMI + DVI is nonsense). You're left with Asus, Gigabyte or EVGA. Similar clockspeeds, same height heatsinks, not much to differ them. There are no bad choices from here, although the Gigabyte's heatsink looks like the biggest of them, reaching almost to the I/O bracket. That's why I finally picked this one and I highly recommend to do as well.Summary: decent card for less demanding games and an absolute beast in 4K media playback. Full performance and none of the noise. Great addition to any iGPU PC or HTPC!

This card is much better than I expected. I bought this a temporary card after coming from a 1050ti and I was worried I wouldn't be able to game like I used to. But so far I have tried rocket league, pubg and vermintide 2 and been so impressed.Rocket league gets a solid 60fps with the settings reduced slightly but need further reducing for 4v4.PUBG gets 60fps dropping slightly on very low and some low settings.Vermintide 2 gets 40-45fps and doesn't drop below 30 on medium settings.I've now decided to wait a while before upgrading as this can play games as long as you don't mind lower settings. No stuttering or massive drops in frame rate.Overclocked is possible and easy.I've got it to +250mhz on the core and +650mhz on the memory. Making it over 7gbps and on this card gives a big boost. Sadly this also increases the temperature a fair bit and in my poorly cooled case it gets to 81c. It's perfectly safe and I'm comfortable with this but some people prefer a cooler card. For the £65 I paid I'm impressed and very happy with the performance.

I have an 8 year old PC. It has i5 processor at approx 3.2GHz and 8GB RAM. The onboard Intel graphocs would only go up to 1920 * 1080. To play 1080p video with a high bitrate source would kind of max out the PC processor. So I added this card (takes like 5 mins to do max in my PC's PCI Express slot [the slots came in like 15 years ago so relatively new PCs should have them]) and bingo: display adaptor settings now go up to a native 4K and playing high bitrate 4K content barely takes the PC processor to 15% of max.The card's HDMI is 2.0 and HDCP enabled meaning you get 4K on your TV, or in my case a projector. In 4K I've never seen such sweet looking content!Great upgrade for my PC and viewing for little money!

There have been plenty of reviews about this graphics card from the perspective of, 'it's not as powerful as the blah blah blah'. That's not the point of this card. This card was produced to meet the demands of people who have a small form factor case with a low power supply unit. This is my problem, and for this reason, I bought this card. And it has far exceeded my expectations. It also seems to be far exceeding the expectations of many people. For me especially I have a 280w PSU, the minimum stated for this card is 300w, it runs fine on my machine and I am constantly checking temperatures. It's also quiet, I mean I can't hear it quiet! and I have it overclocked!Great value for money and great performance.

Let me tell you for this price there's not better GPU than this one.EMULATION: ABOUT EVERY SYSTEM FROM NES, ALL THE WAY TO PS2 WITH UPSCALING AND ANTIALIASING. 60FPS EASY.GAMING: IF YOU DONT MIND PLAYING AT MEDIUM SETTINGS 1080P THAN YOU WILL RUN ABOUT EVERY SINGLE GAME FROM OLD TO RECENT. (Sometimes you might have to play with the settings little bit, but that's easily done).Video Editing and Music Producing for me Not a problem at all, I am using FinalCut and Reason but I am not hardcore in that department so I'm not sure how it would do for the more skilled "HARDCORE" editors. But than again if you are "HARDCORE" like that, than you dont go for this GPU,You go for at least 1080TI OR THE 2080.

Installed with no issue in my slimline HTPC. Purchased the card to improve light weight gaming performance, as I was just using onboard from an AMD A10-7850K. The product description didn't specify that a low profile bracket came with it, so as an add on for £1.99 I ordered one. The bracket is easily replaced so have no fear if yoou have not done it before. Its as simple as removing a screw, removing the bracket, adding a new bracket and screwing it on. The card works as expected and with it having a passive cooler, it makes no noise. The only other downside is that low profile cards seem to cost more than a full size card with the same benchmark score.

Good value update for Dell XPS 8500. Very easy to fit and no problems with configuration. Clearly not designed for full-on gamers but for general use seems like a decent buy. Replaced existing AMD Radeon which was equally a good card but I was tempted to 'upgrade' to one with a newer config and the 2gb of memory. Also the budget price on Amazon. I can now make better use of RAW processing using my Olympus Viewer 3 software (but really it's not massively different to what the AMD offered). The user interface is hideous and clunky compared with the AMD but it does what it's supposed to do.

This video card is pretty good value for your money. It has respectable performance, and very low power consumption. If you are a gamer who wants to play all games in 4K and on full details, this one is not for you. But if you mostly need CPU power and not much of GPU power, this card is a very good choice. Even for gaming it is very solid - games like War Thunder, GTA V or Kerbal Space Program are not a problem in full HD. You can expect around 45 FPS in mentioned games on full details in HD (of course when paired with powerful CPU).

I bought myself a game which would not play with my on board graphics. When I installed this graphics card the improvement in speed and quality was unbelievable. I did need to buy an upgrade cable as the card does not support VGA but both it and my monitor support DVI D. I also bought a DVI D to HDMI converter for the monitor so I can connect it via HDMI, both work well. Another advantage card is that it has a large heat-sink so does not need more noisy and power hungry fans

This card went in my refurbished HP Elite 8300 SFF pc and for the money has been flawless so far. Don't expect it to cope with 1080p maxed out settings. It handles games at a lower res just fine, I haven't found anything yet it struggles with but it has its limitations which can be minimised with tweaking in game settings. If you are on a super tight budget and you need something that will fit in a SFF pc and not draw to much power this is the card for you.

Worked straight out of the box, it was perfect for a pc I was building for a friend. It can run many games like rocket league, csgo, league of legends and more at max setting 1080p, however some games will need to be dropped to 720 to keep them stable. The best thing about this card is the power consumption of 35 watts, meaning it does not need external power connectors and it stays cool, keeping the fans quiet.Another great card from nvidia!

Bought it for my daughter's Dell Optiplex 7010 sff PC. It runs games she plays with no issues: League of Legends, Minecraft, Plants vs Zombies 1 & 2 and few more. It may struggle with more demanding titles but I have not tested it as there is no need. For my daughter's pc , this was a better option than 1050Ti (that I have in another 7010 serving as a projector multimedia source and gaming station) as 1030 was nearly half price compared.

if you require a reasonable GPU for older games and home theatre applications this is a solid graphics card.the passive heatsink will take up two spaces on the motherboard, overheating is not a problem as far as I can tell. stress test on war thunder for hours shows no signs of problems.however, if you require a futureproof graphics card for gaming you will require at least a 4gb card well above this price range.

Bought this card to upgrade an ancient Dell Inspiron 530 to be able to run windows 10. Performs just fine for regular tasks like streaming video online but I wouldn't be buying this for any serious gaming. (Although it did run Fortnite on the lowest settings when paired with a crappy Core2Duo and 4GB of DDR2 memory which is way below the minimum requirements). Good value for money for the purpose I needed it for.
