This card used to be the cheapest 5700XT you could buy, but others have since dropped their prices below this model. I bought this version because it's the only non-reference model that is the same hight as the reference design (111mm tall). My case has a height restriction and the reference ASUS 5700XT I bought had to be RMA'd so I took a chance on the Powercolor and wasn't disappointed.IMHO the card doesn't look as fancy as the reference/'gamery' versions of this card. However, in my build it sits inside a windowless 3U server case, so I personally didn't care that it didn't have RGB and a slick backplate design. If you just want a card that performs well for a great price, then this is it.It's about 2-3fps lower in the games I was playing (Hitman 2, Dirt Rally 2, and Far Cry 5) when compared to the ASUS reference model that was RMA'd, but you can expect to play most games at 1440p pretty much maxed out in most modern titles. The card still stayed consistently above the refresh rate of my monitor, so I never noticed this minor difference in performance during anything by benchmarking. The card also performs well at 4K if you are playing older titles (Alien: Isolation, Shadow of Mordor, and Spec Ops: The Line). I used to struggle to play these games at 1080P on the R7 260x which this card is replacing, but now I can go back and play all my old Steam library with smooth frame rates and higher resolution. The card does avoid ramping its fans up to try and remain quiet and even turns them off if you aren't doing anything intensive. However, I found thermals and performance are much better with a custom fan curve. It does get loud during heavy use, but it is similar to the volume of the reference model. My PC sits on my desk about 30cm away and it's just a light hum most of the time. Definitely audible, but it's no louder than the other fans in my system. If you aren't restricted by the height of your case, I would check out the Red Dragon 5700XT from Powercolor, as it has improved thermal performance and a slightly higher base clock (1650mhz vs 1605mhz). However, this is still the smallest non-reference RX 5700XT that you can buy and it's a really great card for the price.

I have purchased this card for about 40 pounds more than it is now, therefore, it is an excellent buy as of now (389 GBP).The card is relatively quiet. The BIOS is very quiet, OC BIOS is somewhat noisy. You can play around with the Wattman voltage settings to tweak this further if you like. The cooler is more than adequate, therefore I can reach ~1900Mhz with ease and with good temps.Visually the card is simple and straight forward. None of that "gamer" and RGB nonsense. It is a clean looking card and thats all I need.Driver issues... I had a lot of crashes, BSOD, flicker and performance issues. But, I was not ready to give up on this card yet, so after some research and troubleshooting, this is what I have found:- Enchanced Sync has to be disabled (stutter issues)- forced FreeSync has to be disabled; if your monitor supports it, enable it in the monitor's own control panel (crashes at certain refresh rates)- Hardware acceleration in applications such as Discord, Skype or Spotify has to be off (100% GPU usage BSODs)- Windows XBOX gamebar has to be disabled (flicker issues)- Make sure the color RGB settings are set to "FULL RGB" (vastly better image quality overall)Doing all this will not impact your performance or visual experience in games or in Windows 10. I have not had any crashes or anomalies since and I am extremely happy with this card. I urge buyers to use these tips before they return this product. However, these issues should not cause problems on the card and AMD must fix these if it wants the RX 5700 series to be trusted. But, it is to be noted that each patch has helped and they are getting there.I hope this helps at least some people. Hold onto your card and give AMD time to mature the RDNA architecture. The RX 5700 series cards are beasts.

I have been using my new build for over a week and this card has performed like a champ. I had my reservations about buying a 5700 xt after learning about the driver issues other reviewers have expressed here. I can honestly say I have not experienced any problems. I think Radeon has all but solved the driver issues and still continue to roll out updates. Stating the obvious here but just make sure you have the latest drivers installed and you shouldn't have any problems.I spent A LOT of time researching the various components of my new build, in particular the GPU as it was the most expensive part. I narrowed down my choices to the Powercolor Red Devil and the Sapphire Nitro + as these two,in particular, received high praise from many tech YouTubers. In the end, I decided on the Red Devil for no other reason than it was cheaper and overall there's very little in the difference in terms of performance between them. If I'm not mistaken the Red Devil performs slightly better? The higher end 5700 xt's are a close second to the 2070 Super and are considerably cheaper. So unless you really care about RTX and want to play the limited number of games that support it, this is what you're looking for.As for the card itself. It's big and beautiful, so big in fact that I had my doubts about it fitting into the Meshify C but I trusted that PC Part Picker would have notified me about any conflicts. I used 2, 120mm fans in front and there were no issues. It might be a tight fit if you plan on installing a radiator in front though? The RGB on it is subtle, which I prefer. Overall, I could not be happier with this card and would highly recommend!

Ok,for all the negatives I have heard, ai have had very few issues with this card, in fact, other than red dead redemption 2 having a snow glitch, this card has performed outstandingly well for me.Having moved from a 2070 that I used in an older build, this was my first and card and I was blown away with how much better the software customisation GUI is (amd adrenaline) compared to nvidias aged interface. With a balanced rig, this card will more than satisfy up to 2k high refresh gameplay, and I have been using it with a 60hz 4k her monitor aswell , in Modern warfare it will allow stable 80 to 100 fps with medium to high/ultra mixed settings. There is also a nice mix of metrics that will helpyou find out which settings to tweak for the gameplay situation (eSports/entertainment),even per game frame adverages can all be seen in game through the app overlay. As for the red devil, it's well built, and I have it in the overclock mode(it is a switch on the card, on by default) with amds auto enhancement also enabled, and have had no issues in any long gaming sessions.Be sure to have a power supple that can handle this well, I would suggest and 850 watt , this way if your cpu is factored into the power budget it will have the power required- I say this as I have read a lott of people having supposed "issues" with these cards and it's plain to see they simply have not researched the required power needed for the complete build. To summ it up, this card is a great high end, unless you want to pay a thousand for the 2080ti, or 700 for the soon to be obsolete 2080 super.

What can I say. I was awfully nervous about getting this. We all know the driver issues. I was coming from an older Nvidia card. I was upgrading parts on my pc anyway. Well Im so glad I picked this. Obviously I've bought this in May 2020 and Radeon have sorted their drivers (about 99%). To me, I cannot hear any noise compared to my old gpu. Temps are within normal range as on my last Nvidia gpu. Graphics and frame rates are ridiculously good in games, even the latest AAA games. Mine is Powercolour Devil OC and I didn't bother doing anything with the settings, just in game settings. It's a big card and it's engineered and designed beautifully with the RGB devil logo. Subtle, not ott.My build is pretty beefy and I can see that this card would struggle on a lower end system. You will also need case space, it's huge! (I only use a mid tower and it's perfect). I play games for about 4 hours max after work and I've had zero issues.I did delete all old NVIDIA drivers first but I didn't reinstall windows or anything. I only installed the adrenaline software. It's amazing the extreme reviews you get on a card like this. My advice would be to make sure you have a system that can handle it and you won't regret it (especially a 550 watt or higher is better, psu) . I just needed a change and the cost savings from Radeon got me this time. Will my next upgrade be Radeon, who knows. For now, I'm a pretty happy customer.

I was using an RX 580 before purchasing this card and would average around 55fps in a benchmark program with that card. With this card (5700 XT) I average around 110fps, so it is a huge upgrade for me!So far, it has been very stable. Have been using it for over a week at time of writing with no black screens, blue screens, or computer crashes of any kind.I am using a dual monitor setup with my main monitor being a 144hz 1080p FreeSync display and my second monitor being a 60hz 1080p without FreeSync display and it runs both perfectly via Display Port connections.I did have to return the first card that I received because it was faulty. I was experiencing some strange issues: would not detect both of my monitors properly, would not run them in the correct resolutions/refresh rates, insane amounts of screen tearing when trying to play games. Even though it performed well in the benchmark program. So definitely recommend getting a replacement if you have any strange issues, as the replacement card I got worked perfectly out of the box.I was able to test my system with a 2070 Super as well and barely noticed any better performance. Considering that card is almost £100 more expensive, the 5700 XT is great value for money IMO. Overall I am very happy and would recommend this card to anyone for 1080p gaming.

I bought this card at £389 on Amazon in October, which is a good price for the partner RX5700 XT card in my opinion. And my rating reflect the pricing.I had a reference card before but the temperature was quite high (around 80C in full load) so I returned it and wait for a partner card with better cooling. I had my eyes set on the Red Devil, or the Sapphire Nitro. But neither are available yet at a reasonable price and I ended up buying the Red Dragon. It's basically same price as the reference model at the time of purchase so for me that's a good pricing point.Performance wise, it's about the same as reference. I gain a slightly higher score on benchmark compare to the reference model, mostly because the cooling is better. At full load, the card barely scarp 70C and the fans rarely at full volume. A much better quality of life compare to the reference model, especially at the price I bought it from. I definitely wouldn't choose this model though if it's more expensive. So a perfect choice if you don't want to spend much more than the MSRP.NOTE: If you are nVidia owner and consider to move to RX 5700 XT. Please read the guide on how to DDU your old driver before you install the card and the AMD driver. It will saved you from a lot of performance issues.

I have run into a single true negative in this card and that is the default OC bios on my card is strangely aggresive, drawing up to 250W and boosting at around 2050MHz but tends to run the card at 2050MHz for very little gain which causes the fans to spin at 1800 rpm which isn't a hugely impressive noise level for a high end cooler. I fixed this by just having a -5% max frequency limit and a max 38% fan speed. Card runs around 1900MHz which tends to have a very little performance impact (based off looking at reference cards vs factory OC models you can find online reviews, OC models win by 1 or 2 fps). The result is a card that peaks at 65 degrees at spinning at a fan speed at 1350rpm.Silent bios on this card lives up to its name and is just incredible for noise levels. The card runs is inaudible. This more than makes up for the issue I mentioned in the first sentence, other online reviews didn't have nearly as aggressive of a fan curve or clock speed so not really sure what's going on. Might be a problem on AMD's part.Although I've heard lots of complaints about driver issues, I personally haven't run into any, but its running on a relatively clean install of windows so that probably has a lot to do with it.

So, i wasn't planning on upgrading my PC for another year or so but at the start of Corvid-19 my 980TI died on me and left me PCless for over 4 weeks as i was debating upgrading or leaving until after the crysis is over. well i'm so glad i didn't wait i now get roughly (depending on game) 60% more FPS than my 980TI which is a massive jump it also uses 70-100Watts less power therefore produces less heat and noise infact i can't even hear my PC anymore where as before i could :OThe design of the card is gorgeous!!! i absolutely love it! it has some RGB on it but nothing major and i think it's really well done (you can change this within reddevils app)Overall i'm glad i made the plunge the card is much quieter cooler and offers more performance so if you're in the same situation as i was with a 980TI then i personally think you should take the plunge as you won't regret it!i was going to get a 2070S but for an extra £200 for 5-7% performance there's not a chance as it's not worth it!TLDR: great card cheaper than the competitor for near enough equal performance!

Delivered really quick, Brilliant card and cooler compared to other 5700XT's.Great for 1080p gaming at any settings and also 1440p/VR if your willing to sacrifice some settings on more demanding modern games. The design is a nice looking double slot card and overclocks alot (successfully stress tested over 2.2ghz on the core) if your willing to deal with the higher fan speeds (and noise) but I actually leave it at almost stock (2000mhz core 1750mem).The main thing is to undervolt the voltage as the stock voltage is too high from factory. So I was able to undervolt from 1.178v to 0.980v and that dropped my temps by over 15 degrees and means I can run my fans at a constant 40% (1200rpm),so even when I'm heavy gaming and in VR the card isn't down clocking itself and I can't hear the fans over my case fans, also the fans don't spin until temps start to rise high enough so the card is silent anyway in less demanding games.

Bought this card as it seemed the best 3rd-party iteration and am not disappointed. The first driver I tried had some black screens after exiting games but a couple days later 19.12.2 was released which seemed to fix that problem. I only have a 1920x1200 @ 60Hz screen but my god this card can drive most games at over 150fps at max settings, some over 250fps, so I am looking forward to upgrading to a 1440p/144Hz monitors for sure.Would recommend setting a custom fan curve in the AMD driver as this card would go up to 90 degrees C out of the box. I adjusted the fan curve to ramp up earlier and since then I've never seen it higher than 80C.As for people worrying about power draw,I have a 600W PSU and the max I've seen the card draw is 220W, and have been running solid for a few weeks now, so as long as you don't have many extra components I imagine your system will be able to cope.

I'd been playing rfactor 2 for about a year on an AMD system, with a Rx580 handling graphics on my triple monitors and it seemed to cope OK (on low settings). However the latest official rf2 mods, esp the gt3 cars, were causing severe stuttering, making it almost unplayable.I didn't want to spend a fortune on nvidia stuff, and my system is amd anyway, so I looked at the rx5700xt. Around £100 cheaper than equiv nvidia. Delivered quickly, fitted straight in, worked from the off. Rf2 now runs at max on nearly everything, with the gpu peaking around 75% and managing an easy 90 fps.Word of warning, I tried modifying settings in the amd radeon software and it was terrible, at least as bad as the rx580.A factory reset and all was lovely again. All in all, great card for what I use it for (which is ONLY rfactor 2), good value, and performs very well.

This one has the same capability with 2070 super and £100 cheaper, I have not got any driver issue or compatibility problem, upgrade from 970 to 5700XT is a big step, now gaming with more fps and details. Dual Bios with a switch on board is a very good design. The only issue I got is sometimes at idle I found the GPU fan suddenly on and off periodically, made a little more noise, I am still trying to find a way to solve this.Update:I had to return this card and bought a 2070 super instead. The reason is still the heat and noise. During idle, the temperature is too high(above 60 degree), and when fan is running, making a little noise, this is a very quiet card, but not silent on idle,if you do not care the little noise, then still a very good choice, game image quality is much, much better than 2070 super, , it is a pity!

Got this on sale and for the money it's great over £100 cheaper than the cheapest rtx 2070s and it's not far off the performance of the rtx 2070s. Runs great and now the drivers are sorted there's no issues. I know it's missing retracing but I am happy without the rtx 2000 series of gpu are only just doing retracing in a couple game aswell. The rtx 3000 series that are coming out this year (2020) with give the fun retracing experience at a cheap price with the amd RDNA 2 GPU's coming out with retracing to this year hopefully pushing down the silly price of the rtx cards. In a long gaming session with the oc boi on am seeing 75c but my case doesn't have the best air flow so you may get better. It'sa great 1440p gpu and can even do a little 4K depending on settings would recommend to anyone definitely worth a look.

Purchased to upgrade PC to play Half Life Alyx in VR (which it more than copes with). Performance is largely as expected - no issues at all with current gen games at 1440p on decent settings. It does struggle a bit with some very heavy VR stuff (e.g. DCS) but in general is ok here too. For the price point, I don't think you can beat the 5700 xt performance.Powercolor's card is compact (but deep, so watch small cases or side mounted case fans). Build quality is good. Temperatures are kept under control and there is room for some extra OC. Watched a few reviews before purchase and this appeared to be the best mid price point 5700 xt - not disappointed. Price at review: £350
