Reading the other reviews I can see that I'm not the only one upgrading from a GTX680, as mine had unfortunately come to the end of its life after almost 5 years of use, and after doing a lot of research it seemed that these days you could get a card that was much more powerful than the 680, but with a lot lower power draw, making this 1060 6BG one of the best mid range cards out there for a 1080p gamer. It'll play everything at that resolution on max and stays under 60c for me so far even at high load, and it's whisper quiet too. Its small form factor compared to the much larger 1070 and 1080 cards make it great for smaller cases too.Gigabyte offer a three year warranty with generally great build quality, and at the price I paid it's one of the best deals for a 6GB 1060, let alone a custom cooler overclocked version like this one. My only complaint is that the description lacks what power cable it needs which is just 1 x 6 pin.Overall, this is a supremely balanced card, relatively small, very quiet, decently powerful and with 6GB of ram it offers a lot of future proofing, as even on 1080p my max setting on GTA5 uses up 4GB, so getting the 6GB version over the 3GB one makes a lot of sense too.I'm very happy with this card, even allowing for its comparative value at the time, a lot more so than I was with the 680 due to the 1060 having a smaller form factor and quieter performance, and a much lower price, it's without question the nicest pound-for-pound card I've ever owned.Highly recommended, especially at the 6% discount sale price I got it for.

Can't afford a 1080 (would need a much better pc to justify a better card than the 1060)....I bought this particular card directly from Overclockers who had a better price than Amazon and I also chose to have the payment processed by Amazon Pay which then qualified me for free fast delivery = a win/win.I also used Overclockers as other suppliers were more expensive and/or out of stock and/or had slower free delivery.I chose this particular version of the card as it is overclocked and runs my screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz (the blurb says it has military grade components etc which helped steer my choice as I wanted to use it overclocked). My pc runs an I5-2500 (and needs better)and "luckily" my old gaming monitor died not long after and I bought an Asus ROG PG278QR - with the older pc and this 1060 card and my new Asus monitor, GTA V is now a different world, with most settings high, filtering kept x2, and with post fx set to ultra; the card and monitor (using G-SYNCH together) work very well and I get a refresh rate of 40-60Hz in GTA V at a res of 2560x1440, and I now run my desktop at 2560x1440@165Hz with a small font that is crystal clear.NOTE: Important - to turn gsynch on for older games like GTA V you do need to enable the NVIDIA control panel "Set up G-SYNCH" option which IS obvious BUT you also need to use "Manage 3D settings" and the "Global Settings" tab to set "Monitor Technology" as "G-SYNCH"

This was bought to upgrade my son's Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti WindForce2 graphics card to this one. When he first asked for this card for Christmas I figured I could do better (dad knows better, right?)... it was Christmas after all. After spending a significant amount of time searching around for that better graphics card, I had to admit defeat that my 13 year old knew better. On paper this was by far the best performance/value tradeoff I could find. sure, there were much better graphics cards but the cost also seems to exponentially increase also.My 13yr old son is extremely happy with this addition to his PC and able to run his games in "ultra graphics" mode that he couldn't before, even with the above graphics card. With this (combined with a new Be Quiet CPU fan - can I say that in this review for another product?) - his PC has gone from the sounds of a Jet Engine to "is your PC actually on" ?

I purchased as part of a PC upgrade/overhaul. I'd previously been using an MSI R9 290 4GB Gaming Edition. As much as I'm aware that nVidia are releasing (at the time of writing) their new RTX 2000 series cards, I was looking for something that I could get now and within a certain budget. Also, after a decade or more of using ATi/AMD cards, I thought it was time for bit of a change.Although this card may a little overkill for my uses. I'm only gaming at 1080p 60Hz, sometimes 5760x1080 60Hz. It's handling every game that I throw at it, and at Ultra settings--never going below 60fps. Worth every penny.Sidenote:The Gigabyte logo does not light up on the version that I purchased. So depending on whether you're going full RGB or not, it could be either a good thing, or a bad thing, aesthetically. I think it looks more sleek/stealth inside of my case.

Great card, extremely fast and efficient. Only downside is that the fans will 'pulse' on and off fairly regularly when it gets to 50c, making a horrible grinding sound as they do so. It turns out this is a very common issue with these cards and I suggest you search for a few videos on it before you buy one (no the bios updated doesn't fix it). Also my card suffers from rather loud coil whine under load, it's on the cusp of being tolerable but it's still incredibly annoying at times.Overall then a great card for speed and efficiency, cannot complain at all with how well it handles games. Just rather annoying with all the random noises it makes which some people could live with but others willfind it too much to tolerate.Would advise a bit of caution and research before you buy.

This was a repalcement for an AMD Radeon and so far so good ie it has worked flawlessly. The only snag was when it came to fitting on the dell xps 8700 motherboard. I was of the understanding it was a like for like replaeement and would just slot in but that was not the case. Its bigger than the AMD , not a lot but big enoungh to snag the sata cables and it clips the plastic locks on the memory banks so I had to move cables and reseat the memory locks after the card was in situ. Also it was not possible to replace the dell plastic holder over the card as the power inlet on the new card gets in the way. This is for future people who order card. Other than that it works like a dream and I may not even use its full potential but its fast, very quiet and comes with great instructions.

Genial monster of a card. I bought it recently to replace a 4G 970GTX, which was a fine card but had burnt out after just three years. There's really no comparison. The 1050Ti is megatons more powerful. And it's silent. Handles e.g. XCOM2 with nary a shrug of it's elegantly sculpted shoulders. While the 970 could deal with the game if I turned down a few options, the 1050Ti breezes it maxed out on all settings, effortlessly. On high loads the 970 was given to whining like a fixed wing model aircraft. The 1050Ti, by contrast, is simply chilled. Runs like a dream, silent as a shadow. Total aplomb.Only downside for some may be that it's not VG or RGB ready - you have to go up to the latest gen 1060s and above for that, and pay the difference. Other than that, it's superb.

cant give 5 stars based on delivery time, took 6 days to arrive after being told on ordering it would be 2.nothing alse bad to say, people have written better reviews so read those. but i can say you will not be dissapointed with this card its a beast for gaming, handles everything ive thrown at it all this and it never gets above 60'c, it does idle a little warm but nothing at all to be concerned abouti know gigabyte make some amazing motherboards, and it seems they have kept that trend going with this latest card.for the money this is a very heavy hitting card and would recommend to anyone like myself gaming on a budget.cheerschris

I've had this card for almost 2 years now and i have the confidence it will last 2 or more years longer at full performance. It handles most games at maximum settings on 1080p however this particular model does not really encroach on 1440p or 4K gaming territories. However, I have a few friends who have owned the same card for roughly the same amount of time and all of our cards have, after a year, exhibited moderate coil whine so this may not be the card for a preferably silent system. I think it is a bit overpriced for what it offers however doesnt mean to say it's a terrible card either.

I have have no brand loyalty so i'll say it how it is. Amazing card but if a rivals is cheaper for the same specs, buy the rivals. They're basically copy and pastes of each others anyway, unless you want to overclock the card but i think that's stupid as you could probably afford the next tier up (a gtx 1070) with all the extra money you spend on a "better" 1060. The 1070 is a better card irregardless of how much you overclock your 1060 so save the money and buy the cheapest 6GB 1060 you can or the cheapest 1070. The 1060 is better value for money but the 1070 is the faster card.

Purchased this for my son for his xmas . He has an amd 6300 and was running an RX270 . PUBG went from barely 30 fps on low settings to over 100 fps with high textures . Benchmarks in unigine heaven and valley are higher than my gtx 780 and i am running an intel i5 4670k .Not sure wether amazon made a mistake but the card runs average 1900 mhz which is much higher than the box specs .Truly over the moon with this card and the best bang for buck you can get at the moment .I am very tempted to buy another for myself as the 780 is getting a little old now .

For the extra performance this gives over older cards it's a great buy!I rip all of my Blu-rays onto a media server, and until I got this card the process would take about 3 hours per disc. The ripping software I use utilises CUDA to accelerate the process, and this card is fully supported. It will now rip a Blu-ray in less than 1/2hr - so a 6x improvement over a software only solution. So, I can't comment on the graphics prowess of this, as I don't really game - but the CUDA support this card offers is fantastic - it saves me so much time!

Great Budget Graphics Card!I have had this GPU for quite some time and now and its great! The overall performance on the GPU is excellent especially considering the price, i would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget GPU that is capable of playing many games including the latest games at this current time ( 12/ 06 / 2017 )The aesthetics of this GPU is beautiful as well! The only issue i have with this product is there being no RGB however it doesn't matter that much considering how much of a beast this GPU is.

Got this on a black Friday offer, Im glad that I did. My computer was dieing a slow death thanks to my old GTX 580. Whilst this wasn't much of a power upgrade to that card, it was worth every penny. My card now supports many features that my 580 did not, and many faults that I had with my pc (which I hadn't been able to Identify the cause of) simply disappeared when I switched this card in. So yh great replacement for a faulty 580 I guess! Also this is fairly low power as well so I'm probably saving on the Leccy bill too!

Bought to upgrade from the stock card in my Dell XPS 8700. I was a bit concerned due to another review saying it was a tough install but the whole thing was done in two minutes. It's a pretty tight fit next to the ram chips and you have to put the SATA cables under the plastic casing of the card but no problem.Early days but it runs everything I have on ultra setting (which the old card wasn't capable of) and gets around 70 fps.It runs very quiet and cool - the fans are quiet and don't even come on during "normal" use.
