I was initially a bit concerned about how easy this job might be for a novice to install but I’m pleased to say that the hardest bit was working out that I had to bend and snap off two port apertures from the back panel of the desktop casing so the card could protrude out the back. This went into a small form factor PC so it meant changing the backing plate on the back of the card (a small plate was supplied and required the removal of 3 Philips screws and two nuts).Once done I broke off the aperture panels on the back of the PC casing, removed the protective sleeve on the graphics card connection point (that clips into the motherboard), and clipped it in.Then bolted the case back together, connecting the display cables to the new GPU HDMI ports (not the old one), and fired it up.Worked straight away, then went to NVIDIA web site to download the latest drivers and calibration suite. You have to register to get everything you need. Ten minutes later and it was all up and running.Initial test running Zwift (indoor cycling app) and on Ultra graphics setting at 1080P it was putting out 60fps minimum according to the Zwiftalizer benchmarking tool. With the Intel integrated UHD630 graphics chip (i5 6 core 8th gen) I had been getting around 30fps at standard res at 720P, so a vast improvement.Whilst there is more fan noise it’s not oppressive. Overall I’m very pleased with it, slightly more than I wanted to pay for it but no regrets.I’ve included a photo of a GTX660 card (below), next to the 1050Ti (above) which I was offered free from a friend but it wouldn’t fit in my casing, photo is for context so you can see how low profile this card is if you have a small form factor PC. Shows how a bit of progress can enable a fair bit of miniaturisation.

Bought pc around new about 10 months ago. Slowly upgraded it from 8gb RAM to 16gb. Moved from 1tb HDD to 1TB SSD. This was the last slow upgrade to do when I had spare cash. Had GTX 710. Did it job but as I caught up with newer games started to chug badly. Wolfenstein 2, Doom, Evil Within 2 unplayable even with other upgrades which help a bit. Was not exceeding a quantum leap. Was very surprised. Wolfenstein 2 was running at 150+fps. Fixed it at 60fps. Looked the same to me. I can't see the difference over 60fps anyway. But it could run over if I wanted. Evil Within 2 suddenly became playable all setting over high and set to 30fps. Bit of issued at 60fps but the game has demanding issues any way.Far Cry 4 on Ultra settings fine and Far Cry 5 looks fine but not played it much yet. Just Cause 3 on Ultra fine not checked Just Cause 4 yet but again seemed ok. Doom was unplayable now on Ultra settings looks and plays awesomely.Fitting was easy. Does not require direct power from PSU. One fan, not sure if the version with two fans would make any difference at the moment. Very quiet I think? I can't hear it. Very happy. My only issue was I tried to sell my old card GTX 710 to CEX. They offered £0.01p. No joke! I did laugh!Very happy with card!

I bought this to go into my wife's PC so she can play World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy properly. The performance is everything you would expect from the spec and the Mrs is very happy with it, but it really is a bit of a monster to fit into a PC with a smaller case. The PC is an HP Pavilion 570 so not a low-profile case but not huge depth, which is why I went for the single-fan model, because it looks a bit more compact than the double-fan model, and also because I wasn't sure if the HP had enough power, or a spare power cable for the larger card - this one draws all its power from the PCI-E slot. Because of the lack of space I had to remove the RAM and processor fan in order to get the card in,but it does fit.I did have some trouble getting the card to sit right, because there are a couple of connectors on the motherboard just above the PCI-E slot and they were in the way. A millimetre or two less bulk to this card and it would have been a lot easier to get seated properly. If you have an HP Pavilion the this will fit, but you might be better off with the MSI equivalent which seems to have a little more clearance on it.

Bought this to throw into a 7010DT as an affordable casual gaming rig.I will only be using it at 1080p and the form factor of the 7010 precludes standard profile cards and cards requiring additional power connections, so it was - really - this, or the MSI equivalent. I opted for this due to its smaller size and power requirements.I haven't really stretched the card's capabilities as yet, because I'm waiting for an upgrade PSU (Seasonic 300tfx) to arrive, but it managed eminently playable frame rates on F1 2015 @ 1080p with Ultra settings for everything.... Via GameStream... Over 2.4GHz 802.11n... to a raspberry pi running moonlight! Very impressive! To those that don't know,GameStream allows recent Nvidia GeForce cards to stream controller and screen data over the network to a client (any number of clients, but only one at a time). This can be used for games, apps and the (windows) desktop itself. This allows me to keep the gaming rig hidden out of the way and still be able to play anywhere in the house (on my laptop, tablet or the big screens via eg a raspberry pi I use as a media centre.

Such a nice low profile card with lots of outputs, unfortunately kept causing monitor to blink for a few seconds intermittently, it seems this issue is a talking point on various forums, not exclusively to this brand or model but others too. Tried different versions of drivers as others have suggested but no success. There also seemed to be an issue with output order. According to Gigabyte they verified this should display DVI > HDMI > DP but it was outputting HDMI first before DVI during boot, bios, Windows setup and safe mode. This might not be a problem if you have no specific requirement for output order or if you have HDMI monitors / TVs but when you have a 5" LCD as a secondary display and you don't want to be plugging and unplugging,it's a nuisance. You do eventually get DVI output at Windows logon screen as only Windows knows which monitor I have set as my primary display but until then a black screen while the boot sequence is displayed via HDMI.The search continues...

I have 4x Samsung C24F390 24-Inch Curved LED Monitors and swapped a AMD Radeon HD 4850 to a new Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 ti in a an old Studio XPS 435MT - work like a dream after removing the CD installed software on Windows 10 Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.535) the gdrv2sys driver caused a few BSOD episodes and crash reports. Its just plug and play install and let windows us default drivers and nVidia control panel. All 4 outputs support 1920 x 1080 via the 2x HDMI 1x DP and 1x DVI-D - in a 4 screen setup - delighted with purchase.Did not require a new PSU (Crosair 500W) as only used 125 Watts as advertised and no additional power required runs like a dream off the motherboard and little or nofan noise - even using intensive GPU graphics on all 4 screen - HD video output on all 4 screens and even some low level video rendering. Not used for gaming so can not comment on that but used for Video display and movies and After effects

Transformed a 50 quid surplus slimline office PC into a blazing fast video editing and gaming machine. It's amazing such a small card can be so powerful! Power draw is unbelievably low too. It runs perfectly inside a Lenovo with just a 180W power supply, togather with an i5 and 16Gb of RAM. Puts my previous gaming rig, which cost almost an order of magnitude more, to shame. The low profile bracked is included, and can be changed in a minute or two, fan was never too loud, even when running furmark at maximum settings - card ran pretty cool too - despite being housed in a small, slimline case. Couldn't be happier with my purchase, quality product at a good price. Finally, delivery was excellent too, arriving two full days before estimated delivery!

I love this card! Its very easy to install, plugs straight into the PCIe slot with no power connection needed. This was my first graphics card install and it went without a hitch. Very convenient graphics card. Gets all its juice from the PCIe slot. Minimum recommended power supply is 300 watts. My PC is an OEM with proprietary 290 watt power supply and I've had no issues running games for hours at a time. It handles loads of older games very well at 1080p, 60 frames per second like skyrim, darksouls and fallout new vegas. It's runs connected to a large TV as a media device and games look very good for the money. Generally I'm very satisfied with the results. and the card is tiny, perfect for smaller PCs.

This is a great card and the best option available for my refurb Dell OptiPlex SFF 7010 desktop, at least until someone starts making a low profile version of the Nvidia GTX1650 (expected later in 2019). The card is a single fan, but vents the hot exhaust out of the back slots - so not a problem even in a SFF PC case. Although the OptiPlex 7010 SFF only has a 240W PSU this works great even when running graphics card stress tests as its peak typical drain is just 75W and it draws that from the PCI slot - no external power connectors required. A great way to create a compact and cheap gaming PC.

Minimum fan speed is 33% and its not actually loud. At idle, after disconnect all other fans, i got a result of abt 50dB noise level which i have to say pretty quite compare to the noise from the HDD. When the fan reachs to 100%, it sounds like a plane engine to be honest but the xtreme software allows the fan to be control so thats not a big problem. Overall, im very happy. The those still decideing between msi vs gigabyte 1050ti LP. Choose msi if u want ur gpu cooler and noise level wont be ur problem. Otherwise the performance of both cards are the same despite 1 or 2 fans.

Have installed this into an HP SFF case along with a new processor and some extra ram to upgrade an existing office PC.The PC is now running AutoCad and 3DS Studio and is happy rendering 3D presentations. The GTX1050 Ti is running two 27" monitors at 1920x1080 with ease. The critical factor for me was getting 1050 performance in a card shorter than 165mm and also low profile. This comes with both full height and low profile brackets which are easy to swap over (just a few screws)Performance wise, great card for the money, runs smoothly and very quietly.

I was quite lucky to get this from my local maplin store (UK) in the closing down sale.It runs like a goddess and I can’t complain about the performance.I’ve never had any problem with the heat of it or anything like that.Although I can’t play the upmost best setting on every game, I can play them with good settings.I would recommend anyone who is just starting out on pc or not bothered about the best graphics to get this. However, if you want to run the best graphics on the best games then maybe 1060 and above or even better switch to the rtx range.

From ordering this well-packaged card took only 3 says to arrive.Removed large bracket, fitted SFF bracket, opened DELL 9020 SFF case, inserted card without the need to remove any anticipated obstructions. Just to be clear, I did not need to remove the cpu fan bracket covering.Hearthstone rendered at approx. 1800 x 1400 and then down-scaled to native monitor resolution looks great.Running SC2 with almost all settings maxed out; hardly any noticeable noise from fan whilst playing too.One of the best purchases I have made - well happy :o)

I'd like it to give it 5 stars but i'm having issues on watching HD programmes and films for eg on Netflix and iTunes Movies as it shows a grey / white static screen. I've removed and re installed drivers and updated them but still havign the same issue. No doubt it's something simple and easy to resolve but i'm clueless to resolve this. Any help will be appreciated. Over all a great product and very well made, noticed this version has gone up in price so i got mine at a resonable price.

Came new in box, Easy to install and running smooth as butter! Highly reccomend. May be useful to note that you just get the card in the box. There are no screws or anything included which if like me you are upgrading shouldnt be an issue as you can use the screws holding in the previous card (or you may have spares with the rest of your computing gear), I just figured I would mention it so that anyone that needs to prepare and get some more can do! (You only need 2)Happy Shopping! :)
