I bought this card mainly for the CUDA cores for encoding purposes. For that task I can re-encode a approx 2 hour Blu-ray movie in .ts format, in approx 8 mins now. This is while using a Ryzen 1700 8/16 threads @3.75Ghz for my CPU. If I used the CPU alone it takes approx 17-18 mins using all cores and generating a lot of heat I might add that needs a decent cooler. If I use the CPU+GPU the CPU cores only use around 4 cores and medium load of around 40-60%, this generates waaay less heat, only getting upto around 45C instead of 75C. Whilst that is my main usage of the card, it's still a quite capable gaming card too, averaging approx 50FPS in the witcher 2... if you game a LOT though and want higher FPS or higher settings, then you'd be better off paying the extra for a 1060 for sure. This is a lovely small card that doesn't bother you and is very quiet indeed, it could overclock easily enough as temps aren't a problem, which might give you upto 9 FPS more.

This card follows the footsteps of the 1080, 1070 and 1060 released earlier in May/June 2016. This card is ideal for those of you who aren’t looking to play high end GPU intensive games and is mainly pitched towards E-Sports players or those looking to upgrade their off the self PC (like a Dell or HP).What makes this card special is that it has a TDP of just 75watts, which means it can be powered with the PCie BUS alone. This makes it an ideal upgrade for those off the shelf systems with integrated graphics without the need for spare PCIe power cable that would be required for more powerful cards. The card does feature an additional power connector to allow for more overclocking potential. As for the performance of this card – it should perform at or above 60fps on games like Fallout 4 and GTA 5 run on medium settings and at 1080p. Less demanding esports games like league of legends and counter strike will run into the 120+ fps territory with ease.

This card is great, it offers great "bang for buck" performance, running the latest games at good FPS and settings, and older/simple games at max.It has a great clockspeed ( the highest out there along with the G1 gaming as far as i can see at stock frequencies, not to mention the gpu boost 3.0 that takes it up to 1835 mhz at 47 degrees which is amazing ).It's also really small. No longer than the pcie slot so will fit In almost all cases and OEM machines. It doesn't even need any extra power connectors so don't worry about having a poor power supply. The 4 year extra warranty is a also a bonus.

This is a really good bang for buck graphics card.It was very easy to install and replace my old GTX 750ti 2GB card, I used the same software and drivers. Did not have to uninstall or download anything on my PC. It is pretty small and quiet too and runs on power through the slot on the motherboard.I noticed a big increase in performance in several games after some tweaking. For example on my old card I ran Fallout 4 and Doom on medium settings, with this card I can now run on Ultra at 60 fps with some minor adjustments.I'm on a tight budget for PC gaming and this card has been an amazing upgrade.

What a card... Powerful as hell... After installing, the entire PC has more get up and go. Even bootup times are improved.I can only assume that this is because I have invested in a very well designed and that the Driver is efficient instead of clogging up the PC. My past cards (Palit) were guilty of having parasitic drivers.Playing games is now a luxurious experience. I can now only benefit from upgrading the rest of the PC........... £

love the 1050 aswell as the ti and this card is also a great example of one great size would be able to fit into any newer case and even the old cases it would fit in so if you are looking to upgrade your system on a budget i would recommend this card too you.again no power connectors no no need to worry about cable management and a big cable being dragged across your system.very impressed

A great budget card to invest in! Considering the price, it's a great choice as it can run most recent titles on high without a problem. Only drawback I would say would be the limitations of the 2GB VRAM, which you bump into on a few occasions; e.g trying to put Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege textures on high, so if it's within your budget I would advice to go with the TI version if possible.

Unbelievable performance for £149.99. Doesn't even require a 6/8pin pin.Runs all the latest titles (Dishonoured 2, RE7) on vHigh/ultra @ 1080p (60fps) whilst never going over 55 degrees. Runs Overwatch @120-200fps @ 1080p on minimal settings. Highly impressed & definitely recommend those of you who want to play games without blowing £600 on a monster card.

great runs fm17 in ultra ran project cars on ultra except when I went karting. Its quiet and compact and doesn't need any fancy power supply with 6/8pin extra power. If I was ever going to fix other people's computers with video output problems I'd whip that out of my machine and take with me . Software gets windows 10 to asks if sure all the time

Bang for buck on this card is phenomenal. Capable of running unreal 4 engine at moderate settings at 1080p, which will pretty much cover games for a couple of years. You can tweak and get better quality/performance as well, but for 159 quid, it beats anything in the price bracket by some way. Absolutely love it.

great and only 155 pre ordered fitted in seconds, simple, omly problem i had was my previous card had mini hdmi cable and i needed a full size hdmi fitting,my stupidity left me flapping until i figured out there are two different types of hdmi, this was a bargain, now my computer needs upgrading to the card

This is a great graphic card and can play most of the games on the market at the moment although some of them at the lower setting. I would suggest you buy else where as zotac never delivered but if you are looking to upgrade a good budget card you can't go far wrong with this.

This card has very good value for the price. At this level the performance difference between any 1050 cards is negligible so the low price is a great incentive to get this one. I got this specific card from the Warehouse Deals on Prime day and it was just as good as a new one.

Excellent graphics card, I play World or Warships, this card achieves over 80 FPS using half the power of my older GeForce GTX570 which manages just over 40 FSP two six pin power connectors and an 800 watt PSU. Double the frame rate half the power consumed, nice little saving.

Everything looks awesome now. I don't have much of a frame of reference though as my last computer would suffer palpitations when trying to play Heroes of the storm on lowest settings. Needless to say this is a big step up from there.
