hi,at fist when i bought this game what i really wanted was "nintend dog ds miniature dachshund and friends" but when i layed eyes on the dalmation game i realised the my heart was set on this game, to anyone out there who has a problem on which nintend dogs game to buy well take it from me and do what i did and you will never go bored with the dalmation game. it is smart fun and all in key, you can wash, brush and play with your new little friends and you can enter them into any agility, disc and trainning competions and see you little pup grow into an amazing winner along with all of this you can accsesorise your dog to your hearts content with ribons and colars you can feed them with surplies from the "pet shop" with the money you make from winning a competion.with this game you can have any amount of dogs from 3 on stage to 5 in the dog hotel, if you are anything like me then you will find that the greatist pleasure of this game is the love you feel from your new little friend, and for you mums and dads out there this game is worth every penny you pay so don't dout this game for a second because the day you get this game is the day that your child will be enterained for the rest of their ds playing days...have fun!!!!

Nintendogs is a simulation game, where you can adopt your very own virtual puppy, take it for walks, and train it! As you progress through the game you unlock new breeds to choose from and new toys and items for your dogs. Currently, four games are available, Dalmation, Dachshund, chihuahua and labrador - each offering different breeds and items. When you first play the game, it's a lot of fun, better than previous games such as 'Dogz', and the graphics are superb. However, after a while the game begins to feel a little dull. There is a limit to how much can be done in the game, and after owning it for a couple of weeks, feeding your dog, taking it for a walk, and entering it and contest is basically all there is to it.If you're looking for a game that will keep you interested and entertained for as much as it's worth, this sadly isn't it. There is, however, good usage of the touch screen/microphone technology. But the game is one which I play about twice a month, if that, but for those of you who don;t often play the games, looking for a non-challenging game, with more relaxed gameplay, give it a try.

Nintendogs is, you guessed it, a game where you raise your own puppies. On the opening of the game you are taken to a kennel to choose your puppy, at the beginning you only have a choose of: Golden Retriever, Beagle, Yorkshire Terrier, Dalmatian, Boxer and German Shepherd, but you can unlock more breeds of dog throughout the game. After choosing your puppy it's time to name it! Using the microphone built into your DS, you can call your puppy to teach it it's name. Once your puppy has learnt it's name, you can really start to play the game. You can teach your puppy neat tricks, dress it up, take itfor walks, bath and brush it, take it to the park, train in agility and take part in competitions! You're not restrained to one puppy though, you can have up to three at home, and five in the doggy hotel.Overall, I really enjoyed playing the game, although it can be very repetitive. The only downside to this game is that the puppies do not grow up and have their own puppies, thus creating your own blood-line.

This is a great addition to the Nintendogs group! And don't worry, you can still connect with people who have the other versions of Nintendogs. Is basiclly the same game but with the cutest breed as one of the starting breeds. The other starting breeds are Boxer, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Yorkshire Terrier and Beagle. You then can unlock a further 12 breeds through training points and 2 breeds through finding items on a walk, Jack Russell Terrier (item: Jack Russell's Book) and Shiba Inu (item: Japanese Collar).Initial room design of the flat is 'Early American'. In the room design shop at the begining there is The Northern European Style, Designer's Mansion and Japanese-style Room. There are 3 hidden rooms. There is one item available from the begining, the firemans hat. There are well over 100 items for you to collect and buy.I think this is a perfect pal for a Nintendo DS or a Nintendo DS Lite. I would give it 10/10 every time!

When I first got this game for Christmas almost 2 years back I never got the hang of it because my dog (a Beagle) never listened when I called its name, so I left the game collecting dust amongst my other DS games. However I started playing it again quite recently thanks to my younger brother who kept the game going, and it's really adorable! The graphics are nice (especially on the puppies themselves!) and looking after them is pretty straight forward. The commands are also easy to do and it's great to see your puppy run at you after calling its name. The only downside is that you can only enter a certain tournament 3 times a day. Same goes for teaching commands to your dog.Because once you've done the tournaments and such, there's not really much left to do except still look after your pups and watch them.In short this game is really fun and REALLY cute! I definitely recommend this to dog lovers and people that enjoy virtual pet games.

This was the first game that had for the DS, so when i first got it i was delighted. The grafics are good, it uses all of the DS's abilities, and is a great game to introduce the DS to you.YOunger children would prefer as aposed to teenagers who would rarther have a game that has a bit more depth to it.After a month or two of playing the game almost full stop you find it easy to get bored as you've explored everything that is possible to do. I guess that the reason for this is that there is no real objective to acomplish. But if you like dogs and are not allowed one of your own then i would strongly recomend this for young children or anyone that wants to use as a way of relaxing as it can be quite thereputic, watching your puppy grow into a big dog, washing them, brushing them, helping them learn new tricks, etc.

I got this for my 6 year old daughter for christmas after she begged and begged for it. She just loves games that involve caring for animals, playing with them and buying things for them! She has not stopped playing it and has bought and sold dogs, bought new houses for them to live in, won prize money for agility and show competitions and designed walk routes etc.I think it is a great game for general entertainment but i think has an element of education because it involves decision making with finances about whether something can be afforded or if more work is required to earn more and buy better things. My 6 year old loves it, i am glad we got it even if it was a little pricey.(then again these things are anyway!)

This is going to sound weird, but this game is great if you have lost a pet or have had one in the past but can't have one now. It really is like having a real pet but without all the smelly bits!We all like this game, you can dip into it whenever you like, but leave it for too long and the dog may run away or get fleas...One niggle is that the town you take the dog for a walk round is a bit boring and never changes, so it can lose its appeal to kids after a while. Also, you need quite a bit of money to buy some of the more expensive 'designer' looks for the home and I don't see how you could ever get that kind of dough!I think it's a great idea, very cute definitely good for dog lovers!

This is the best game I have ever played. It is fun and the graphics are really good. You can have eight dogs at one time and you have to feed them, play with them and teach them tricks. You can enter competitions including disc competitions, agility trials and the rather hard Obedience trials. You can go on walks and you get presents and you can meet other dogs and also train your dogs for disc throwing at the park and train for agility trials at the Gym. I like connecting with my friends on bark mode. You can put accsesories on your dogs. My dogs are, Patch (the beagle) Spot (Dalmation) Ollie (Sheltie) May ( Boxer) Pebbles ( Sheltie)

This game is really fun you can go out for walks every half hour you can have up to 8 dogs go to 3 types of contests and get over 100 items and you can get trainer points and re-decorate your house with up to 20 designs unfortunatly the game ends when you have 99999 trainer points. I recommend this game to 6-13 year olds adults might even enjoy it as well, there are 4 different games each one with different breeds of dogs different items houses and so much more, the other games are Nintendogs: Daschund and Friends, Nintendogs: Chiauhua and Friends and Nintendogs: Labrador and Friends. I hope you enjoy the game!!

This is so the best version of Nintendogs by far because on all the other versions you have to SEARCH for the dalmatian, by finding a firemans hat which takes quite a while, but with this version it's probably the first dog you will own. And it's so easy to find the labrador, chihuahua and dachshund anyway. So I definitely recommend this game - I love it! The graphics are great and the competitions are fun. If you don't own this game now, buy it. If you don't own a DS, buy one and buy this game. If you don't have enough money, get a Saturday job, buy a DS and BUY THIS GAME!!! :D xx

If you long to own a dog, this is the game for you! The graphics are AMAZING, and the dogs are really cute. But, the intstruction booklet only tells you the basics, so find a friend who owns a Nintendogs game, and ask them to show you how to pick up presents, change your name, etc. etc. This game is good for adults and children. One word of warning: when you buy dogs, you can only have eight dogs maximum, so don't fill up your spaces for puppies to fast! You should DEFFINITELY buy this game!
