I prefer running on trails that allow you to get into quick tempo rather that technical trails. Road shoes tend to work fine, apart from trails with mud and rocks ( not just gravel). These meet that need without deviating too far from a traditional road shoe. The added rubber on outsole probably leads to this shoe feeling a bit more ridgid than road shoe. I also have Pegasus Turbo 1 in same size and peg.Trail run slightly longer.

I come from a pegasus 35 that I have used both road and trail pot. They were good in both fields, but when I gave them the trail use, I noticed that they lacked a certain grip in more sandy areas, loose pebbles, etc. The first day that the 36 trail arrived, I went straight to run on the road and you can tell the difference, apart from the fact that they are very comfortable and with a good starting response.

From the first moment, with the first steps, very good sensations, a very precise footprint and good cushioning. I have tried them for two days, on flat mixed terrain, 20Km, and in the mountains 16Km, 450m of unevenness. Very good support both up and down, with a good grip. Also fantastic on asphalt and cement. I like them better than the Nike Vomero I had.

Received for two days Excellent shoe tested on path and stony path (about 20 km) in cani cross, very good feeling, very good bounce comfortable shoe. Adapted to my Morphology (1.75m, 78 kg). It is not my first pair of nike but the first in trail, to see in time but generally the nikes are quite resistant in my opinion. Good luck in your choice ...

I have been using the Pegasus for a decade and they never let me down. These are the first ones that I buy from trail and they are wonderful, comfortable, light and good cushioning. I love. Of course, they are tighter than the asphalt pegasus 36. If your usual number is a little fair, I recommend asking for half a number more.

Probably the best option for those looking for a door to trail runner. Fit is a bit more generous than Peg Turbo, however this is in the form of extra pointiness of toe, so I'd still say go your normal size unless you have a pointy foot shape, then you could go down half a size from Preg Turbo.

this is my 2nd pair of the pegasus 36 trail running shoes, and even though most of my running is done on pavement, these are some very comfy and neutral running show, offering a lot of comfort for my short/ middle distance running (up to 15 km)
