After our old router broke we had problems with the new router in that it didn't transmit the wi-fi signal as far. We use PCs in an outbuilding and one PC's wi-fi connection kept failing with the new router. We plugged in the Powerline adapters, unsure if the fact the outbuilding was on a different electric consumer unit would affect things, but the resulting connection was brilliant and continues to be stable and reliable. Am going to buy another set with pass through to use elsewhere.

We recently moved house and the room where we wanted to place our PC didn't have a phone connection. Didn't like the idea of a trailing a extension cable from the hall. Was browsing the Argos catalogue and spotted the Netgear Powerline Kit.. It seemed the perfect answer but I was a bit sceptical and taking a gamble, purchased the item. So glad I did. Set it up in 10mins, brilliant! Works immediately and no problems. Saved about £100 and more asking BT to fit a new phone connection.

Recommended by Virgin Media tech when installing a new V6 TiVo who used Netgear1000 to connect to smart tv. ( WiFi not reliable). He installed one NG1000 at a power point and wired to the Router and one at a power point wired to the Vbox /TV. I’ve now got two additional NG1000 and installed them upstairs on another smart tv and a Xbox. In using the house electrical wiring to create my own network has be a great success. The NG1000 has been very stable and reliable. So far so good.

I bought this network over power adapter to solve problems I was experiencing using WiFi in the home. The pair of devices came with one Ethernet cable which saved some extra expense. Set was simple the instructions were clear. Just plugged into wall socket attached cable to WiFi router. Moved downstairs plugged in the second device into socket and attached laptop. Bingo - full bandwidth, no buffering and no configuration required. Buying two more bring the internet to the garage.

Before i purchased this product we had a unsightly ethernet cable running from my sons Ps4 in one room right down the hall and into the room where our Wifi router device was approximately 25 feet away and the ethernet cable was a trip hazard. Having spoke to a friend he suggested this set up ( i didn't even know it exsisted) bought it in Argos and had it fitted within minutes. My son is delighted and said the speed has even increased. Would definately recommend this device.

I had these to get a connection to a WiFi dead spot in the house, I was sceptical at first because both plugs are into extension leads not a wall socket as recommended for best speed, I was delighted to find my speed increase from a consistent 4mbps to 38mbps on my PS4, I bought another pair as you can sync them so now I have 3 rooms with earthnet points, also it works to my extension which is on a different fuse box so I’m not sure how the magic works but it does.

These just work straight out of the box! No set up required, just plug one in near the router and one wherever else you need it...pop the Ethernet cable in and voila! I have one at my router near the front door, going to my shed out back! It works amazing! I can get almost gigabit transfer rates between my devices on my home network! It wont speed up your internet unless you have over 100mb connection.....but its great within your own network. Highly recommended!

Very pleased with these adaptors, which have enabled me to work from home with a LAN connection despite the fact that my router is in a different room. They were super easy to set-up and came with two LAN cables to connect to the router and to the computer. One small thing to bear in mind is that these cables are quite short so if you want the computer more than about 50 centimetres from the plug, you will need to get a longer cable.

These replaced a very long Ethernet cable to POE cctv and router (downstairs / upstairs). We bought Cat6 (higher grade cables) for the PLs. When they arrived we set the PLs up. Brilliant. Instantaneous. I could access the CCTV on my laptop no problem at all. Much faster connection than the long Ethernet cable. The PLs are literally “no hassle”. I am really pleased and would recommend these particular PLs.

I bought these to replace some other plugs I had after one of the plugs suddenly stopped working. As soon as I plugged these in I had a fast connection to my router downstairs. The previous plugs I had needed to be paired but these ones don't, you just plug them in and they work straightaway. So far I have had no issues and they are much better than what i had before, I would definitely recommend them.

Poweline technology is great, you plug it in and you get a network across your existing electrical wiring.I have these exact units in my home with Victorian wiring and get 80mbps which is fantastic.However in my mother in law's 1990s home it just does not work. They can be sensitive to a lot of things like timers and freezers etc so it's hit and miss, but if it's a hit you are laughing!

Already had the older v1 unit supplied with our hub from Virgin Media and had no issues. We wanted to extend a wired connection to our network in the front room to support home working, and this seemed the obvious choice. 3 weeks in and no issues to date. If I had a criticism, it would be that it only has one ethernet port, that means a splitter if I need further connectivity; not and issue yet

I bought this product because of problems with WiFi signal playing online games. I have not yet since had a problem since installing. It does exactly what it promises and could not be easier to install. Would highly recommend to anyone suffering the same ‘ping’ problem with online gaming. It is an elegant solution if you are too far from your router rather than running a long LAN cable.

This Netgear 1000 Mbps Powerline Kit is amazing! I bought this one and then the 1200 one. I use the 1000 Mbps one for my PS4 and the 1200 for my PC. I can download stuff really quick now. It's just so good. 100% would recommend it to anyone. It always took hours to down load games & updates on my PS4 but now it takes up to 10 minutes. Sometimes a little more depending on the file size.

Had weak wifi signal in the teenage kids bedroom & we were all suffering as his games console kept going offline in the middle of his multiplayer games. This does the job. No more shouting or screaming! Lol! Excellent piece of kit if you don't want wires everywhere. Plug into the wall near your modem connection & plug the other one anywhere in the house, that's it! Easy.
