I have the dLan 500 AV power line adapters at home, but have been spending a lot of time at the bottom of the garden in this unusual UK summer heatwave. Unfortunately this puts me outside the WiFi range of my home network. But this dLan 500 WiFi adapter joined into the existing system and extended the range easily. Just plugged it into a socket in the house, pressed the setup button on the existing unit, then pressed the button on the new unit. About 45 seconds later, the buttons on both turned solid green and they were linked and running. Unplugged the new adapter and moved it to a socket in the garage, and it automatically synced back up. I now have full strength WiFi covering the garden,

I've rated NOT easy to set up, only because this was pre-owned and the seller failed to tell me the password for wi-fi had been changed. Took a while to sort out via devolo cockpit on the configuration page.If you're buying new, there will be no problem at all.I have 3 wifi plugs and 5 basics, all feeding laptops, smart tv, roku's , smart bluray player in cinema room. Ring doorbell etc and they've all performed perfectly over many years.I'll also move one to an outside socket in the garden to get wifi on my phone or whatever else I or visitors may be using.All Tickety Boo !!

Instructions could be a little clearer - It took a couple of attempts to set up, my mistake as I attempted to clone the wifi SSID, reset the device (paperclip) and setup using WPS, Speeds much better than BT HomeSpot 500, but still drops the signal every so often - probably the BT technology that's at fault. Overall much better signal and transfer speeds.

Easy to set up but but had a few problems which weren’t remedied by the minimalistic manual.The online support and subsequent emails were prompt and super helpful, within minutes my whole house had top flight coverage.Very impressive products and a superb support back-up.

I have three of these covering my spread out house and they are faultless. My only advice to Devolo is that they should make the instruction book clearer to explain the benefit of 'cloning' . This then programmes the adapters to use the same passcode as your main router

Although seems it should be straight forward to pair, I did have a little trouble getting these paired and then the network to recognise them. However, once they were they made a significant difference. Stable, strong wireless connection - would recommend.

Whilst this product is more expensive than its competitors, it still represents excellent value. Signal strength is maintained throughout the house. It has been thoroughly reliable and there have been no problems.

I found it very easy to set up by using the clone method. I also found it to be compatible with two other brands "Tenda" and "TP Link" with which it works seamlessly on the same network. Couldn't ask for more.

Added this to an existing power line set up with the same units. Didn't even have to mask the SSID to use the router password it just picked that up from the existing network. Two minutes to be up and running.

Seamless wifi around the home. Now have several of these around the home with no more buffering. Use the ethernet connections for on line gaming with no issues. Excellent should have brought these years ago.

Works well. I added this to a established large area wifi and it worked straight way. I would like it to be cheaper and have a larger coverage area but I have not found another model that is better.

Got 3 of these to give WiFi coverage of whole house and garden. They work very well.Give them all the same name and password as your router and your devices will seamlessly pick the nearest one.

I like this device.Plug it in, press a button on the router and one on the device and in no time you have wifi and wired LAN where you need it at home.Fit it, use it and that's it!

Easy to set up and does great job of extending my Wi-Fi through thick walls. Good value for money and easy to use software gives overview on the powerline adaptors connected.

I’ve used this as an add on to my existing Devolo set up, running an Ethernet cable to my computer which is a long way from the hub. I’ve had no issues since using it.
