My beloved cat, who has never wandered in 7 years, disappeared for five days, and when I eventually found him I decided that the only way I was going to retain my sanity while I'm at work during the day would be if I could track him. I searched high and low for the right device. Most were made more for large dogs, but I needed something smaller. This one is still large with a diameter of just over 3cm, but it's fairly light. It comes with a pouch that can be attached to a collar, but I was worried about it falling out, especially when my cat started chewing at it. So what I ended up doing is removing the metal belt clip from the plastic accessory that also came with the device,threaded a thin cable tie through it, and attached it to my cat's collar. By the end of the day, the battery is usually on 65% regardless of how much I've been tracking him, so I just keep him indoors at night, unclip the GPS from the plastic base, and charge it overnight. He really isn't particularly bothered by the tracking device. Trackimo has an app that I've downloaded to my phone and I'm able to track him in real time.I can also do it from my desktop computer. I have the option of using a flat map, or Google Earth, and can toggle between the two. There is an SOS button on the front that can be presssed if somebody finds him, and I'll get a message sent to my phone. Same if he moves out of his geofence area, or if he moves at all! I can also send a beep to the device no matter where I am. The device works off satellites and cell phone masts, so as long as you're in an area with cell phone signal, no matter where in the world you are, it will work (I'm in South Africa). My son logs in with the same credentials, so he is also able to track our cat even if I'm tracking at the same time. Most nights I have to go and fetch him from where he has wandered off to, usually within about 1km from home, and it literally takes me to the exact house number that he's chilling at. I honestly cannot describe the peace of mind I have found since I bought this device. It is truly worth its weight in gold.

Bought this to attach to collar of a dog with extreme escaping tendencies so I could find her if she went missing again. Tracking side of things is very good and very reassuring when I check in when I’m at work to know she’s where she’s supposed to be.Battery life isn’t very good, have to recharge every two days. Instructions aren’t very clear either, ones on line seem to relate to different model entirely.However I have given tracker 4 star for the reassurance it provides
