Although I haven't played for very long, within the first half hour of playing I was very impressed. Ok so the graphics aren't as flashy or brilliant as the 360 or PS3 but the game play is brilliant because the remote is very responsive and the ways in which you can customize your ride are staggering for instance when you buy suspension, you can choose whether you want more or less oversteer/understeer which is covered in three simple options(which is much better than the complicated tuning options you got in pro street). You can also change the vinyles to your liking and to an extent create your own body work by using the front and rear bumper options. As for the plot, you take up the role as an undercover street racer working with the cops (but they don't know that) and it is your task to infiltrate and take out street racing organisations. The missions you take will vary a lot for instance there are missions which require you to deliver cars with little damage and others where you have to outrun your opponent before a certain time limit runs out.Pursuit wise you'll be running for your life because all those who have played most wanted would be chased be 2-4 cars at one time, in this game, you'll be chased by an average of 6+ cars from the beginning and pursuits can last for ages (my longest pursuit time so far is about half an hour). As a bonus there are also pursuit missions similar to the ones in most wanted such as trade paint but has a bit of a twist to it (I'll let you figure that one out). However there are pursuit breakers along the way but they are limited so watch your step.On the down side, apart from the less impressive graphics, sections of the world you drive in are very similar to areas found in most wanted which is a little disappointing but overall a great game.I would strongly promote this game to those who like to drive like crazy and have some fun but if your one of those types who like to tune your cars and have more of an organised racing game, then I would promote pro street.

Okay I bought this game yesterday with low expectations after reading the reviews on the web. Shortly after I started to play my concerns were put to rest.Undercover is a HUGE improvement on Pro-street, the NFS franchise has returned the racing to the streets and gone back to how things were, and it is much better for it. Admittedly the open world could be so much better as there doesn't seem to be a reason for it, except of course to test your cars and cause trouble with the police, it would have been better if they had designed the world so you can drive to events and races like they do in GTA... but I guess you cant have everything. For NFS fans your going to love this game,it's what I wanted from Pro-street and never got. Admittedly it's not the best game of this genre on the market but you will still get a lot of enjoyment from it and I don't think you will regret spending the money on it.Okay time for geeky stuff the actual game graphics are excellent it's why I got a PS3 to enjoy games with a higher level of class, NFS undercover delivers and then some. The AI of the other drivers to start with is VERY easy, if this was a world war II game I could have walked to Berlin from London in 1939 and killed Hitler with out ever having a shot landed on me!, but thankfully it gets harder. At times there could be more civilian cars on the road but its not that big a problem as the traffic tends to go through busy and quite phases. All in all I have given this a 4 star rating. Its not worthy of a 5 star rating because there are issues that need to be resolved such as the open world and AI level, but it is still a good game that will give even the best gamers a good time.

I love NFS undercover. Got it for xmas last year. The first thing i notice is the amazing selection of cars. This means endless replay options. For example you could finish it using a Astin Martin or a Dodge charger then do it all again in a Veyron or Ford GT. The second great thing is the cops. They're great fun. If you do a burnout near one he'll go after you and before you know it you've got a group of Ford Crown Victorias on your tail. They also use SUVs and Porche 911s. They are pretty challenging to lose on the highways as they set up roadblocks and spike strips. When you lose them you need to stay clear for a set time or they'll find you again so just because your racing away at 150 mph doesnt mean you'll shake them. The races and story missions are great too. You've got everything from checkpoint races and outrun races to cop takeouts where you need to take down a set number of units after you. This being the first NFS i've played i'm really amazed. Its Fantastic. Theres also a car modification option where you can add spoilers nitro , change your wheel type etc. You can custom your paint job too. If you like you can buy cars from the PSN store for 69p to 1.99. the 1.99 is for Vayrons and other supercars. All in All NFS is a great racer with endless replay options. Reccomend it to anyone who likes the racing genre

I bought this game yesterday and so far i love it. Ok, the graphics might nt quite be what they should on ps3 bt if u want a good looking racing game then get GT5 Prologue. It might not be the most realistic driving game out there - again if thats what you are after then get GT5. A lot of people have said there is a lack of traffic - if u want a crazy traffic full game then get Burnout. It is very simple, at the end of the day it depends what you want. I buy NFS games because they are fun, and not because they necessarily look good or are realistic. I have completed almost half the game in only 2 sessions, and i can hardly put it down, which means that they must have got the enjoyment factor right. It is by no means the best all round racing game on ps3, but it is good at what it does, which is the key. So if it is just a fun racing game that you want then get this, bt if u want a rly good looking or realistic racing game then don't; get GT5 instead.

This game was a big improvement on Pro Street and feels a lot like Most Wanted to play. The cars are good, probably the best on any NFS game. But, there are a lot of annoying things that get on your nerves:Firstly, you cant customise your cars beyond paint and vinyls.Secondly, traffic gets very annoying in races, you could be doing really well, and then by no fault of your own a car seems to appear by magic and your crash an lose the race.Thirdly, very little consistency with how good the AI cars are. One race you could beat them all by 10 seconds, the next race (on the same difficulty) you are practically standing still next to the other cars.Overall I enjoyed the game but I did get very frustrated (and sometimes)angry along the way, but the storyline is more inventive than other games and the graphics are quite good.

I blasted this game when it first came out, giving it a 1 * review. However I've grown to like it and I'm finding it very enjoyable, hence the new review. The only bad points are the fact that you have a big city to drive in, but no excuse to explore it. The city has very little traffic as well, + the framerate gets a little jumpy (something that should not be seen in a PS3 game!) but you can live with all that. I honestly do not see what all the fuss is about, I've played games a lot worse than this quite frankly. The graphics are very nice indeed, nice and shiny, especially on a HD tv. The car handling is nice (way better than Pro Street's), and online is always a challenge. So in all a great game, not the best I'll admit but if you can find it cheap you'll be in for a nice suprise!

I HAVE JUST BROUGHT THIS GAME AND I THINK IT IS REALLY GOOD, THE POLICE CHASES ARE A BIT EASIER TO GET AWAY WITH BUT THEY DO LAST SOME TIME, THE RACING IS FANTASTIC AND THE CARS, THE KITTING UP IS GOOD ASWELL. GRAPHICS ARE GOOD FOR THE WIIHERE ARE SOME PROS AND CONSPROS:- great driving experience- feels fast when ur driving at high speed- graphics are pretty good for the wii- lots of cars to choose from- the police cars look awesome- you get to drive police cars and take down criminals- races are quite good and the new type called highway battle and driverjobmany more but cba listing themcons:- i would say it career is a bit short- on-line play would of been good- they got rid of the Bugattion the wii what was the point?

I have had this game since xmas day and I do enjoy playing on it! It started off slow I felt compared to the other NFS games I have owned and played, but I think that was just the type of car you start off with as now I have a different car and its quite fast and challanging! The graphics are spot on, really nice and there is loads to do, as in all need for speed games, different challenges and races etc and of course there are quite a few cars and parts to unlock to upgrade your car, but I have had no problems with this game and compared to the other NFS games, in my opinion it is one of the best, maybe NFS:underground 2 and Wanted are just a little better but this one is by no means a bad game,it is still a good fun game to play!

This is definitely one of my favorite driving games for the Wii, and is about as good as you can get with the limitations of the Wii controls. There is quite a lot of variety, the controls are realistic (at least for the Wii), and it is a good challenge. The only thing that is just a little too unrealistic is the level of damage that the cars you drive can sustain. Unlike Pro Street, which is also great in its own way, the challenges don't get overly monotonous, and can even be challenging enough to get you frustrated, but without keeping you from coming back for more. The police chases especially are really intense, and provide a healthy, if slightly twisted, way of letting off excess steam.

I have always been a fan on NFS and have brought all of them, and lets be frank, Most wanted was the best, Carbon Ok, and Pro Street was a load of rubish, Undercover has brought back the aspects of NFS that you enjoy that cars a mint, best collection everHanderling of the cars is alot of fun i can really start to drive the cars at speed and little trick can be done now, Flicking the back end out and all that, tracks are back to normal rather that Pro street with every1 being practicaly the same,I would buy this game if you do not have it, lets be honest Midnight club is Crap and Gran Trisumo isent out for a while!

Well, I absolutely love this game. The great thing about this is the Graphics! They are AMAZING, but there is one problem. The graphics are only focused on your car, the road and the buildings. The other car are just blurs. There are some amazing cars in this came but unlike "Need for speed underground 2" you actually have to buy the cars. The car are a lot of money, but once you do the races and the career you get more and more money. Because you have to buy the cars you will have to save up, because the best and most expencive cars are £250,000 but that is not that hard to get!!Enjoy the game!

This is good fun. The graphics are as one expects in a racing game - but the branches of the trees move with the breeze, and shiny cars clearly show good reflections as they move! Not to mention burnt tyres on the roads!I think the criticism about the controls needs a little perseverance - like learning most games; I found the best way to control the Wii remote was to rest my wrists on my legs - then it was Vroom and away without crashing by accident. This game has the fun factors that were in NFS Hot Pursuit, Underground and Most Wanted. I'm off to continue playing.........

This game is wikid gd range of cars from mustang to zonda and koininzegg ccx! game is wikid u can pull of amazing moves such as j turns drifts 180's and 360's! u can do free roam where you just race around and do what you want [watch out 4 cops]. or do the missions they can be racing, getting away from the police in record time or deliver a pacage there are lots of missions..but the game is a bit short i completed it in 2 weeks the graphics are good 4 wii but nothiong compared to the others on ps3 xbox 360 or even ps2overall it is definatly worth gettin this game

The last NFS game that I played was Hot Pursuit and that was on the PS2. I thought that was brilliant. NFS undercover is one step up from that they have incorporated the police chase which I thing is cool. I have not played the other NFS games, but the effects in this game are cool. My only criticism is that they have not included any Ferrari's in it. Another criticism is that once you have completed all stages the game does not move on. You just end up repeating all the stages. I have only completed 91% of the game, so maybe there is more.
