Whilst I don't normally write reviews, I feel NFS Payback deserves a bit more credit that it's getting from the negative reviews. Yes, people are entitled to their opinion but i don't think it's the worst game ever.I personally think it's a pretty good game and the more I play, the more I'm growing to love it.Pros:GraphicsDriving (better handling than NFS 2015, in my opinion)Story (a little cheesy and cliche but fun)Cars and customisationHuge worldPros:No online free roam!!Could get repetitive...It's kind of easy (is that a con? Lol)All in all I think it's great... although if EA don't sort out the online roaming with friends, I will be selling it!EDIT: Ive been reading reviews about grinding for cash.

Great fun arcade car game. This one and the last one have gone back to its NFS underground/most wanted routes and they are great fun games. The complete opposite spectrum to the like of Project Cars 2 but I really liked the purposely cheesy fast and furious type story and fun factor driving around like a mad man sideways, customising cars and beating the story which is all its worth really so I advise buying on a discount worth £35 not £50. This one add elements of forza horizon and I would describe it as a tony hawks like car game if that makes any sense at all. The card thing everyone is winging about isn't that bad, at the end of the day it has at least changed up something that has been the same for donkeys years which is performance upgrades on your cars.

I was really sceptical about buying this at first based on reviews from others claiming how it wasn't as good as previous experiences such as the 2015 version, yes it definitely has it flaws where the cut scenes don't let you do the best parts of the story, however need for speed hasn't always been a story driven experience for me, the story for this version is a similar lacklustre experience also, however the driving is really good the new upgrade system is great also, yes there are lootboxes however you can earn them in game also which is better than how they did it for battlefront 2.The graphics are good along with the sound of the cars really good, I wouldn't pay £35+ but definitely worth it once there is a little price drop,

Superb service and cracking price compared to EA's own rip off price.The game itself is super smooth on ultra (core i3 6100 AMD 290x 8GB RAM).More importantly,the controls are spot on and the best I have experienced on a racing game.Excellent graphics with the Frostbite engine too.As far as story and experience goes,unfortunately it's not the same as the original NFS Most wanted which was such fun.Nothing we can do about that and it is probably down to ever changing users' feedback and short-sited developers.Still worth buying though,if you are fan of this particular genre.

I really enjoyed this game. Is it the best nfs game? Possibly not but it certainly has its moments and I found it very enjoyable to play. It's certainly a step in the right direction after the 2015 reboot of the nfs franchise.The story takes a little while to get going but once it got going it chugs along nicely in my opinion and switching between 3 characters is a nice touch as you get 3 different perspectives on the story of the game. I would recommend it if you like racing games

This nfs! Is amazing compared to the old ones. It gives a fresh new story line, cars, new race modes and much more. People can say that they hate it, but cmon it isn't that bad, the graphics are amazing and you won't find better in any other game, it's a bit harder than then the previous one, but that what's makes it interesting and not boring, so I would recommend to you if your a street and adventure game-type person! You won't be disappointed.

Got this one for Christmas already clocked in 12 hours, loads of fun just driving around finding car parts and doing side races, the story is cheesy but that’s what you expect. The car modification is excellent and graphics whise I don’t think you could really ask for more. There’s been a big update and I personally haven’t had to go back and do any races more than once to move forward in the game. Highly recommend

I brought this game as a recommendation from friends at work . . It realy is a cracking game . As others said the game realy opens up after the first 2 chapters . First Have the patience to do the first 2 chapters . Took me 2and a half hours 3 days work at it on and off . I’m sure a lot can do it quicker as I’m rubbish lol. Don’t bother with micro transactions . Just there way of trying to get more out of you .

With Payback, I was excpecting a game very similar to the 2015 reboot (which I found disappointing). What I actually got was a game that carried the spirit of the best Need for Speeds (late PS2 era) but expanded on everything, plus the addition of off-roading. My only problem with the game is the story is quiet short, and when it’s finnished there isn’t much to do, but otherwise it is an excellent game

Starts off slow left me feeling unimpressed, but after an hour or so play this game opens up to be amazing. Looks lovely on my ps4 pro much better graphics than previous outings and the sense of speed with certain cars is crazy. I am 7hrs in the game and I am finding difficult to put the controller down. So we have a slow starter but turns out to be a corker of a game. Get it you won't regret it.

As the last need for speed game hubby played was the original most wanted, he much prefers this one. Graphics, story line and the overall variety of the game. Cops aren't as much fun in this game though because they are much more scripted and in certain areas only, you can't mess with the cops like you could in most wanted just for your own amusement. Other than that , fab driving game.

Bought the Deluxe version of this game for £15.99 on the PS Store. Much better than the last NFS game. I like the day/night cycle. Very similar to Forza Horizon which is one of my bets games to be able to pick up and play without forgetting how to play it. Good unlocking levels which encourages you to play more. Lots to find in the map and the missions are enjoyable too.

This game is one of the best nfs I have played in a long time story line is great tracks and open world will keep you going for hours and you will end up spending alot of time making your cars your own in customization I have wanted them to bring nfs underground game back since PS2 and this is very close a must buy for any nfs fan you won't be disappointed

Bought it last week on PS Store as they had the full game with dlc's.It's a really good game, lots to do, lots to see. Good storyline, good music, definately enjoyable for speeding fans ;) I think it's one of the best NFS so far. I'm playing with my 5yr old son and he loves it too. Highly recommended
