The Breath of Fire games have always been my favourite playstation games, as most of the more powerful rpg's are for the computer (eg. baldurs gate + neverwinter nights). Though I have yet to experience Breath of Fire I and II. Breath of Fire III is easily the most enjoyable playstation game I have ever played. Though I would prefer this game was famous because of it's original release and not because it is just another game for the psp, I will gladly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fantasy and rpg. Anyone can enjoy the flexibility of the characters. I would say the only improvement that could be made on the Breath of Fire series is more versitility. I would prefer you could make options in the game, not just wether or not you battle for the brood or give your life to the goddess and live in peace with your allies. (eg. Teepo and Rei attempt to presuade you to mug Bunyan on the Yraall Road, do you?) This would make the game much more enjoyable and bearable next time through. Nevertheless, I have won Breath of Fire III around 10 times, so, even with the lack of versitility, this is one of the best games ever. And no, if you are wondering if I have missed it out, the graphics should not be improved, for the unique quality of the graphics are excellent, and, though not advanced as games such as Final Fantasy and Timesplitters, I find the graphics very attractive for their time. Excellent work Capcom!

I love the breath of fire series, and this is no exception. If you're familiar with the series then you won't be disappointed, BOF3 does change up the formula of 1&2 a bit, but it feels like an evolution rather than a ripoff. You've got your usual suspects: Ryu and Nina, and a whole cast of unusual characters to pad out your rag-tag team. Even a couple of faces you'll remember from earlier in the series. This game has a few more features than the last two, though. Tons more mini games, intricate battle systems, (you can learn enemy attacks, transform, cast magic, change formation)board game-like map screen, (no wandering for hours trying to find where to go next)dragon genes to collect, you can even train with different masters to alter every members job in the group and learn more skills. An interesting addition is skill ink, where you can pool your skills and swap them between your group to alter the entire dynamic and effectiveness in battle. This game gives you far more opportunities to customize your group than ever before. But thats just the start. To appreciate this game, you have to play it for yourself. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

We Europeans were honoured on Friday with two RPGs released on the same day, now when does that ever happen in the UK? With Tales of Eternia also released on Friday this is the perfect partner to another great game. More traditional in its turn based battles, Breath of Fire III provides a charming RPG experience to the PSP. From what I have played so far, the story seems intriguing enough. You play as a young dragon-boy called Ryu and you escape from being captured by a group of miners and into an adevnture with two other characters Teepo and Rei. If you have got Breath of Fire III already with its PSone release in 1998, don't bother with this at all. It's basically the same game (same graphics, same story etc etc) with a just a few extras for the PSP (Game Sharing and a Fishing mode - exciting stuff eh?) I bought this game because of the novelty of actually playing an RPG on the go and I like it! If you like you're traditional RPGs then between this and Tales of Eternia, Breath of Fire III is for you!

This game was good on the PS1 and is fantastic now on PSP.This game is in my opinion the best Breath of Fire in the series so it's great that it is now on the PSP.The game has a great story and memorable characters that are really cool. The graphics are very dated but that doesn't really matter because the game is so damn good. The game is very much like FF in many ways but has an edge that nothing else can create. The game will take a long time to complete 30+ hours and will keep you playing for a long time. This game is a must have for any PSP owner that likes RPGs. It is worth buying even if you have played the game before because it is such a good game and can be played again and again.Overallthis is a great game and releasing it on PSP gives people who are new to the series a chance to play this classic game.

I remember playing this game all through my childhood. So I am glad at least someone made this for the PSP. I got it 20 days earlier than expected, which is very nice! And have so far played it for a little bit. Nothing seems to have changed at all! Yay!They need to make more games like this, and quite making games with a high graphic content and a sucky storyline/gameplayThe only cons of this game would be that the graphics are a little less than the original game, but manageable. Also, the lag time seen in the regular game before a match is also still present.Aside from those two, this game is borderline perfect.

First off, just want to send a shoutout to The Classic Gamer shop for the speediest delivery I have ever experienced, and great customer service to boot :DLong and short of it: Fire fantasy final dragon breath 3 is a very good game with much better humour than FF. love that fishing minigame. Have played it for hours.I have named my dragon boy Keith and now lovingly refer to this game as "Keith and Friends". 10/10 would play again just to fish. One complaint about the battle system: no-one's weaknesses make sense, but it is a fantasy RPG so who knows how logic works over there, right?

This is one of the most unputdownable games I have played. I always find good rpgs although not always big on visual excitment very abosrbing to play, this definately applys here. This game took me 35 or so hours to complete and to describe it as vast is an understatement. So good longevity. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I am not a massive rpg fan and the gameplay lacks the excitment of say an FPS but I do recommend it especially useful on boring family holidays :D.

Just as described and plays fine. This is the European version, which some may not pick up on, but it is noted in one or two spots and in several reviews. That said, the PSP is not region-locked so it bears little importance beyond the rating system and packaging.Long time fan of this game and series, it is nice to have a good working and current copy, since my ps1 copy may very well no longer be usable. Good price for a packaged and unopened game. Came with manual and case.

I absolutely love this game, from the first time I played it many years ago and even now it's still a great game with a spectacular storyline. The really nifty thing is that because the game was converted to the PSP, now you can play this game ANYWHERE, it makes long trips and waiting much more bearable. I recommend this game to any old-school gamer that is a fan of RPG's, and anyone wanting to experience the nostalgia of playing an old PS game with new features

Words can't describe how happy I was when i saw that Breath of fire 3 was brought the psp. A few extra modes were added nothing that is very worthwhile unless you enjoy gallery mode as I do to see character sketches. The game itself is the true gem. I've loved breath of fire since the first one on the SNES. Anyone who likes RPG's I can't imagine wouldn't like this game.

Love that I was able to get this. Even though it is a UK copy of a game that I am playing on my North American PSP, it works BEAUTIFULLY! I am so happy to be able to take this classic console game onto my handheld and be able to play it anywhere. It also gives me a chance to play it through again to revisit the ending!

Delivery: Everything was on time and went smoothly. No complaints here.Package: No damage, and everything runs well.Product: Breath of Fire III is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves classic, turn based RPGs. On the PSP it delivers everything I would hope for.

I bought this game for my PSP since new rpg's for this system are rare. This game is great and I have not finished as of this review. Graphics are great as is the story line. Hard to put down once you start playing and the game is long in playing time.

my husband loves this game glad you all had it in stock. He has played this game before when he was younger and wanted it back for our collection. I found the Playstation version for a ton of money but this was reasonably priced and shipped fast.

The game is imported from the UK, however it runs just fine, it's not a knock off. It is the real thing guys, get it before it's gone forever.Loading times seem faster to me, I have only praise for this game, a classic lost gem of gaming.
