really great horror game for the psp if you are looking for a great decent horror game this is a good one especially for the psp because its on the go.First off the environment is really great and scary at the same time too,the enemies are just great sometimes they are irritating and can be sometimes hard to kill if you aren't prepared well,what makes the game more amazing is it is challenging so there is a lot of thinking and a difficult game at some point not like other horror game where you just kill monsters and just go to this place or that place and just destroy or retrieve a certain item,but in silent hill origins its about thinking and know what you are going to do.Lastly once you

After reading so many great reviews from others who have played this game and learning that it was made for the PSP and not just a port, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This is now one of my favorite games. The story line is fun, the artwork exellent and the music and sounds make it really creepy, just like the movie. I haven't finished it yet but it really sucks you in. I don't know of any other horror type games for the PSP but if you're looking for a game that's fun and not so hard that you get frustrated and quit, try out Silent Hill Origins. It's also a good game to show off the PSP's capabilities.

This is the best Horror game for the PSP. Now, that's not saying much as there's only three such games for the PSP that I know of. However, as a Silent Hill game, this is great. The graphics are on par with Silent Hill 2, 3, or 4. And the story is interesting as well, although it is a bit short compared to other Silent Hill's. Overall, this game is a great portable version of Silent Hill, it doesn't feel like a portable game, it feels like a PS2 game on my PSP. 5 Stars, highly recommended.

I'm easy to scare when it comes to games. Okay, not really. But games such as Silent Hill just have this feel to them as soon as you hold the game in your hands. "I'm going to be scared $h!tless." Silent Hill is a title I wish will be around forever, but it won't be. Get the Silent Hill franchise while it's cheap.

I bought this game as many people who had played it before said it's a good horror game in terms of music and sound effect. It's true when I started playing it as soon as I received it, It's not scary but the music and sound effect is good, and so far the story is quite interesting. It's definitely worth to play.

Great game. Awesome gameplay, amazing graphics, cool puzzles. Love it. Great addition to the SH series. Play it at night, when you're alone, with the lights off, and wear your favorite headphones... I guarantee you'll be scared shitless in no time. Actually I dare you to.

A worthy entry (prequel) to one of the most brutal, scary, and terrifying psychological franchise in video game history. Also available for the PS2 gameplay on the big screen with improved graphics.

I bought this video game for my son--in-law who loved the game already. He told me the game was based upon the movie, and this was one spooky moving.

I love this game, it's like Silent Hill begins, the story is fantastic, the atmosphere is creepy, i recomend this game for any Silent Hill fan !!!

The graphics are okay and it is a challenging game with may puzzles to solve. Great for anyone who likes horror games.
