If buying second hand, make sure you clear any saved games; one needs to progress through the game, to appreciate it more. The best thing about this game is the graphics which become blisteringly quick later on, and gradually throughout using nitrous boosts. There is story, which I have ignored, and only do essential upgrades at the end of each major level (city part). It might be worth spending a bit of time doing upgrades which benefit your overall score.The tracks can be quite good too, but what is the greatest weakness is the ease in which the game is completed. I will have completed it in about 3 weeks at about 20-30 minutes a day. I am sure some will do it quicker.

I searched a lot for this game, and finally was able to get one copy of it. I've been searching for it since 2010.Just like every PlayStation Portable game, this game comes packaged in Sony's custom-made jewel case. It contains an UMD disc and an Instruction Manual.The age rating of the game is "7 and above" by PEGI. The game requires PSP Version 2.80 or above to be playable. If you have a below version, you can update your PSP using the disc. The game plays properly with no issues.Before you buy, there's a very important thing to note. This is a very old game that plays in Sony PlayStation Portable. Sony stopped production of PSP, it's games and all related accessories by 2016. To my knowledge,

I bought this game for my daughter (age 13) for christmas. She loves racing and since I have 3 girls age 9, 12 and 13, I had to choose something that will keep her interest. I felt Cars (for ds) would have been to easy after reading reviews...therefore I chose Need for speed Carbon. This is a great racing game with great music (get yourself plug in earphone for sound quality) you have the ability to choose cars and build a car to your taste as you progress. You also have the ability to choose difficulty levels (ie heavy or light traffic) to keep interest. The only downfall is when playing in multi-level (more than 1 player). The music disappears and you have only a single track to choose from with a single card.

I orderd this game the other day. It was expected to taked 4 days to arrive, Instead it took 2! This was with NON express delivery.The game itself is great i rate it 5/5. Cool Cars. Cool Crew. Cool tracksIts all call.Ii love the FREE ROAM section. In witch you can just drive around the world freely without having to race! Oh and the Police chasses are really fun!

I bought this game for the memories from when my brother had this game....it has brought me right back to childhood....nice storyline, an ok gameplay...the multiplayer hosts some glitches...but nevertheless I kicked his butt!

This is certainly the best of all the Need for Speed titles me & my 8yr oldson had a LOT of fun playing it. The Drifts are very hard though 9/10 still.

Bought this someime ago and only now doing a review. Great game for the psp which left me feeling somewhat knackered :)
