Let me start by saying that I am a 20-something year old woman, so I'm obviously not the intended player. However, I find many games above a 3 rating stressful and/or frustrating so my game play experience is probably close to that of a child. The basic idea of this game is that you work through six theme park zones, playing mini games that either give you prizes or help you unlock more areas of each zone. You also work through "Moshling Rescue Regions" to collect Moshlings and Moshling eggs. There are other small elements too, like collecting bulbs to light up your theme park's sign and fixing rides. The mini games are things like air hockey and pong and are easy to understand.Although the instructions are written, a younger child could probably figure out what to do by watching what happens when they move the stylus around the screen. You earn prizes after certain amounts of points, and I found that the amounts are set very low, which means that even when I did badly I still earned enough for a prize - no frustration. And when I did really well, I earned even more rox and was congratulated on beating the high score. Each prize is a present that you scribble on to unwrap; it feels like Christmas! The previous Moshi Monsters DS game was educational in that you had to solve puzzles and do math. From what I've seen so far, this game is educational in a physics or engineering kind of way. In order to adopt the moshlings and fix areas of the park, you have to use different tools to interact with objects on the screen. You also have to think about how to get the Moshling through obstacles. For example, there is a ramp where you have to make the Moshling get on one end of it then hit the other end with your boxing glove so they get launched up. If there's a part of bridge missing, you have to use the claw to replace it. I have to admit, when I reached the first Moshling Rescue Region I wasn't sure how to get the Moshling to follow me. It seems like the Moshling needs to be visible and facing in the right direction to respond to the whistle. A younger child might also be confused by this at first, but once I understood that it got easier. When you rescue moshlings, you can play with them like you could in the previous Moshi Monsters game; you give them food/toys, bath them, make them hot dogs. This time you can also play them music by repeating back a series of three notes.I'm still working through zone one so I don't have much else to say, but based on what I've seen so far I am very impressed by this game. I loved the first game but I'm having even more fun with this one, and it seems like it will take me many hours to finish. I also love the theme park theme. It's great playing with claw machines and hitting targets with water balloons.Overall, I find this game fun and frustration-free. Although young non-reading children might need a bit of help at parts, most of it is easy to figure out. The generous scoring makes it quite easy for children of any ability level to win prizes, while rewarding more advanced players at the same time. If your child loves the previous Moshi game they will love this one even more! (I do!)

LOVE this game. I have the first Moshi ds game and it is good but this is even more fun. I'm nearly 10 years old and can't put this down. Luckily I got it during half term so had lots of extra time to play it. Was so excited to get so many online game codes. I got super cool theme park wallpaper, 7 day free membership, Furnanado moshling (sooo cool and rare, only with this ds game can you get the code for it !!!), and a Furnando large cuddley online in game plush for your room. That was great enough but the ds game is so cool. You build the park by earning money in the game. I love the toy funfair grabber game and every other game is totally fun too. If you love Moshi or just love a game you can pick up anytime for a bit of fun,get this. How many times have I said "Fun" in this review?--tons cause it's sooo much FUN!

Moshi world is an amazing set but this game, although it keep on getting harder to complete the missions, is quite repetitive and not so interesting and creative as the first DS game. All levels have the same mini-games that get slightly difficult as you progress. Interaction with moshis is reduced and sometimes even hard to understand that the "taking care of" (interaction) is finished as the game closes without reward or indication that you were successful in the task.

I bought this as a present for my daughter - she loves anything Moshi Monster and so it was bound to be a big hit. But as with most toys and games the novelty wears off pretty quickly, but I know she will rediscover it and be on it constantly again.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, and she loved it, spending most of Christmas day playing it! This is praise indeed as my Granddaughters is quick to say something is rubbish if it does not meet her exacting standards.

Ideal present for kids who are mad about moshi monsters, hours of fun and great replayability. Even I am having a go when my daughters put it down ! Very addictive and easy to progress.

Bought for my grand-daughters birthday so I can't really review this other than from her feedback. She is really into moshi monsters and seems equally engaged with this one.
