The blender comes in two halves for easy storage. It has a 600 watt motor. The shaft is approx 6 ½ ”(16cm) with stainless steel blade. It has two speed controls and a turbo switch. It comes with a 2 year guarantee. The blender is a good weight and easy to use.This is a very nice blender and will be great for soups etc but I’m using this one for soap making. The only problem I’ve found with it is that the electric cable is only 46 ½ ” (118cm) which isn’t quite long enough to reach my hob so I need to use an extension cable which isn’t ideal. The stainless-steel shaft and blade are ideal for soap making and the fact that it can be split in two is very useful and means I can leave the base in my

Morphy Richards is a well regarded UK brand with a long and proud heritage. All blenders potentially suffer from 2 weak spots and hence these are always worth checking: the motor unit and the blade (or more usually the blade shaft / motor interface). Motors have a habit of fizzing and dying before they reach middle age and the bushes / bearings of the drive shaft have a have a habit of stripping. Blenders are used every day in my house and some have lasted less than a year.This is a small hand blender, compact with a powerful 600W motor: the bigger the motor, the less likely the unit is to fail prematurely with an overstressed motor. This device has two settings and a turbo mode and is simplicity itself.

The blender was very effective - no lumps left at all in just a short time of blending. I love the ability to change the speed - so that you can start slowly and then ramp up the speed to get the desired effect. The head did not clog up at all (which has happened with previous hand blenders I have had). Large pot of soup blended in less than 30 seconds. The blender is not too noisy, even at top speed. Great to have the Turbo just to finish off. It is very useful being able to split the blender into two for storage - it also makes cleaning much easier. Also a handy loop to use to hang up if required. All in all the best hand bender I have used. Would highly recommend.

This was quick and easy to use out of the box without reading any instructions. It looks well made compared to the plasticky one I owned before, comes apart easily for cleaning and is powerful to use, even on its lowest setting. That is perhaps the only thing wrong with it, it is a bit too powerful if you own it (as I do) without the optional bowl attachment. Even on low, it sprayed stuff everywhere the first time I used it in a normal mixing bowl. Solved the problem by putting a teatowel over the whole thing while blending.It's probably not really designed for something as dry as mashing up chickpeas but it made an awesome (if slightly chunky) hummus.

This is the best electric food blender I have ever used. So easy to assemble and store away. Like the blender can be split into two. Helps with storage.In use the variable speed of the blender assists well with mixing. I started slowly when mixing some soup, increasing speed as the ingredients were mixed in. This resulted in a much smoother final product.My previous electric blender often clogged up round the head. This Morohy Richards blender doesn’t.Which is excellent.Used today for soup, cake mix and just to try out.Easy to clean and store too.

I’ve had a number of handheld blenders over the years and with variable success. The last one did not have a detachable head which made it a nightmare to clean. This, however, does and is amazing! Super efficient and blends with ease. Also, a small tip: using a handheld blender is a great way to whisk eggs to perfection!Super easy to clean, easy to grip and a dream to use and all reasonably priced: highly recommended! ?

There are lots of these much cheaper in the market place and they're all inferior. This comes with a whisk, chopping bowl, mini blender, speed control and is easy to clean and put together. It works really well and saves faffing around with a full size mixer if you only have a small amount of prep to do. Full marks!

I love this stick blender because it is relatively small for storage, yet powerful. Best of all it’s super easy to clean, just rinse right after using, 10 seconds and you’re done. I use mine for frothing milk, making milk shakes, pureeing fruit, blending soup, getting lumps out of gravy or custard and much more.

I bought this to make baby puree and it does the job however it can't blend really tiny portions as it doesnt reach the things at the bottom of the jar. However way better than the rip off of buying "baby blender" which I have heard are not even that good and only pricey because they labeled it "for babies".

Bought as a replacement for out ancient Braun unit.Quiet, powerful and easy to use.Unit was supplied with a useful range of accessories. We particularly liked that the soft plastic base of the blending jug can be removed and used as a lid for the jug.Would definitely recommend this product

Perfect little gadget. Takes up hardly any room and I use it every day for chopping and blending. Great for soups and sauces, ideal for chopping herbs and nuts. Easy to clean. Powerful enough for all my needs.

A replacement for a similar item this is far superior in quality and effectiveness but at a very economical price. With a 2 year warranty I expect it to last well and prove very good value

This is a far more robust blender than I've had before. Easy to clean. I like the varying speed. Turbo boost makes soups and purees really smooth. Very pleased with it so far.

Great addition to any kitchen. Sturdy, easy to use and clean. Ideal for those with small kitchens and great for blending smaller amounts. Well worth the money.

value for money for sure. Would like to have more speed choices, but overall with the price is good. Have a variety of tools that is quite handy.
