I'm new to running and decided to buy a pair of bespoke light weight road running shoes and I read lots of reviews on a variety of websites before settling on the Mizuno Wave Rider 23.I took the advice to go a half-size larger than normal, so an 8.5 and they fit perfect, straight out of the box, no rubbing and very comfy. They are seriously lightweight with great soles and of course that amazing colour.Downsides: The upper material is like a nylon J-cloth, I'm not a fan,but these shoes appear to be all like that and it keeps the weight down and makes them breathable.I was originally looking at the pink Wave Rider 22 however the reviewers didn't think these were breathable and for about £4 more,

I've only worn them once but found them very comfortable. I bought them to start running as they were recommended for heavier runners in an article I read. They definitely cushion the impact! I'm size 61/2 to 7 in shoes. I bought size 7 and they are just about ok.

Very happy with my new trainers wore them straight away. I was recommended to buy these as I have a bunion, as they have more room in the toe cap area and I found them very comfortable. I did remove the insole just to make a little more room.

Love this shoe, have worn the waverider for about 10 years and owned every version in that time, I am a neutral runner, little heavy on my feet they have lasted me on Utlras upto 100k. Super light too.

I’ve defected from my usual ASICS to these shoes and so far really pleased. I have 5.5 size feet and generally take a 6 in trainers. Went up to a 6.5 in these and they fit well don’t feel too big.

This is the best pair of trainers I ever had. If you have wide feet, this is the answer. I also suffer with residual plantar fasciitis and works well for me.

I’ve always been a Mizuno fan. They are comfortable, true to size and stylish. And these are just the same.

My second time buying the Mizuno Wave Riders, love them as a road shoe (and for running gentle trails too)

Balanced shoe- good length, snug toe space which makes shoe glove like for running.
