I have the Wave Creation 15 and 17 already so I was familiar with the concept. This shoe is for people who are slightly overweight, have a neutral arch and love to do looooong runs very often. I have used the 17 far beyond what would have been reasonable but I think what did it in is that I started to use it more for gym training as well besides runs.The Wave Creation 21 is bulky. When compared to the previous models I have it is significantly bigger and looks heavier. Wearing it though there is no significant difference.I could immediately feel that the midfoot section was substantially more stable than what I had on either of my previous Creations even when they were new.

Bought these to replace my 4 year old Mizuno Wave Creation 18's for running 6-7 miles every other day. Very happy with the purchase - 21's are so springy, and offer more cushioning protection.
