I purchased it to grate parmesan cheese. This product is awful. Moreover, the "metal on metal" friction will surely wear out the item likely leaving metal shavings behind. I requested to return it for a refund as it does does not meet expectations, and advertised intended usages. This was their response: "unfortunately as the item has already been used we cannot accept a return. As noted in the product description this item is intended for use with nuts cheese and chocolate". I do not recommend purchasing this product..

Load of rubbish. Total waste of money. Very flimsy. Doesn't turn easily. Thought it was going to break, the handle used to turn the cutting drum very mobile, I thought I turned into Wonder Woman whilst trying to use it! As for the grey metal colour addition to the grated cheese that was the final straw for me. Only used once chucked it in bin. My advice is to avoid it.

This is a piece of cheap junk, badly made and dose not grate the cheese easily as there is a gap between the cutting drum and square casing that allows the cheese to roll out. With postage and packaging plus the cost of the grater it would have been better to go to a kitchen shop and buy a good one. Never again.

This item is complete rubbish. It fell apart on first use and despite my complaining to both the seller and Amazon, I got nowhere and got no refund. Save your money. I would not give it any stars. Also had sharp edges.
