This role play dressing up set from Melissa and Doug is one of the nicest sets of its type I've come across. The scrubs top does have animals printed on the pockets, but even so for most kids this set can be used to flip happily between role play activities involving people medicine and those involving pet medicine. In addition to the tunic, hat, bandage, face shield and soft puppy toy - which are nicely made and machine wash well, you also get a good quality set of plastic instruments (most of which can be safely tucked away in the pockets on the tunic - highly appealing to the average 3-4 year old!).There's no storage box or medical bag with this set - which comes supplied in a disposable

The quality of the make is excellent and the accessories were attached with red thread so the parts wouldn't be lost before arrival. also came in a plastic cover with poppers and a hanger.the idea of a identity badge for your little vet was an authentic touch, and on arrival we printed our little vets name and placed a photo of her prior to receiving the gift.the only negative i have is the battery compartment for the barking stethoscope was a bit tricky to unscrew and i was panicking a bit thinking i may have to send it back, but eventually mastered it,i have put the more expensive type batteries in hoping they will last longer to avoid another struggle ,

I can’t comment on quality etc as I have not removed from the pack as it is for Christmas but it looks really good and my daughter will love being a vet! I got it at a great price with a promotion so I saved a bit too. It was one of the best vet sets I could see available, I love Melissa and Doug toys. I buy a lot of their stuff. I’m happy that the accessories make little noises n stuff which add to the appeal for a toddler. I’m happy with the service from amazon as usual but I have to say please calm it down with the cardboard and paper!! The costume came in a huge box which was filled with enough paper to hang on a wall. I Share a cardboard bin as well so it’s not ideal.

Excellent vet costume. Ordered two for my twins. The stethoscope takes batteries (not included) so when the heart button is pressed, a heartbeat sound can be heard. Lost one star on the review because of the annoying way the accessories are attached to costume with thread. No need really when it comes in a bag and most things are already in their designated pockets. Aside from that, I’d highly recommend as they’re brilliant!! Love that it comes with a vet hat & mask!

This costume was slightly more expensive than supermarket options but it was well worth it. The tabard material is thick and well stitched, helping it survive the rough and tumble of family life (and siblings sharing). It also comes with an array of accessories to keep your child amused and help further their imagination. Based on the success of the Vets outfit I would definitely consider purchasing more Melissa & Doug products.

Bought for my 3 yr old - very impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of outfit & the accessories it comes with. Looks brilliant and i know my daughter will love going wild with her imagination in this! Only downside was as I came on to write this review, the price had dropped by £5 since i bought it (only 1 day prior!) which is a bit nippy! But I'm still happy with what I paid for the set anyways as its great! X

I haven't been prompted to write this review, as yet, as the costume and accessories have just arrived. I must say that, on inspection of all the parts, I'm absolutely delighted with the purchase. The quality is second to none and I'm pretty sure it will endure the rigours of a three year old's veterinary practice! So glad I didn't opt for slightly cheaper versions as this is head and shoulders above the rest.

My kids absolutely loved these gifts & played with then right away. I bought one doctor & one vet one but my son said he was a surgeon with the vet one! It could be either tbh. The toy medical instruments are good quality. The only reason I've given these 4 stars is that my kids haven't played with them since the day they got them but that might be because they are still so young (only 3).

I have a Doc McStuffins fan, but as she is quite a tall but skinny 6 year old I needed to look for a more suitable outfit than the Doc McStuffins coat for 3 - 6 yrs. this is great quality, attractive and comes with doctors kit accessories - really pleased with this purchase and got it at a good price too. This company make superb quality items I have found, clothing, crafts and books :)

Great outfit which went down very well with 5 year old niece at Christmas. One small problem was the face mask which goes around the ears with elastic. Children's ears are so soft that it wouldn't stay on so I had to get the needle and thread out to put elastic around the back of the head. All well now though and our budding vet is treating her pets left right and centre!

Bought this as a 4th birthday present for my niece. Good quality with lots of bits to play with and she loved how the stethoscope plays a heart beat noise when checking an animal. Makes Christmas easy as well because now she just needs more and more animal toys to check in her vet surgery she's set up! Would recommend.

Birthday gift for six year old granddaughter. Very well received, it seems well made and sturdy - she is average size and height for age, label says age 3-6. Fastenings are velcro. The 'implements' are a sensible size for small people to play with and the little puppy 'patient' an added bonus!I was very pleased.

Bought two of these for my little girls for Christmas. They obviously haven't seen them yet but I already know they will love them. Just bought them as a little something extra to open really, but they are actually really lovely! Think they wil ll end up being one of the girls' fave pressies. Thank you :)

Excellent quality as expected from this brand. Brought for five year old son. Fits perfectly with growing room. He is only 122cm tall. He wore to school for dressing up day and all the kids in his class loved it. The heart beat sound on the stethoscope is brilliant. The little puppy is a nice extra.

This has been bought as a Christmas gift for a 4 year old who loves dressing up. It looks amazing. Contains everything a would be Vet could want and I’m sure it will be well received. Everything appears to be well made. So looking forward to seeing it being played with.
