My 6yr old son is obsessed with playing shops! But like most boys he can be rough and grumble and most other shop trolleys are cheaply made and haven't lasted long before broken. Also like many boys his age he hates to go shopping! So when I saw this I thought it looked fab! But was dubious about spending so much on a trolley! Well I'm not sorry I did. It's even better once out of the box! Well built and very sturdy, it's a great size and my 6yr old doesn't look too big pushing it around. Also with him being older he recognises that's it's very realistic to the trolley that mummy pushes about at the shops. He's had his favourite teddy in the seat and every shopping trip since has been hassle free!

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter on her birthday. She was almost speechless with delight which was very gratifying. It is much smaller than I imagined and therefore the perfect height for a 3 year old and practical for the typical household. It arrived flat packed and was easily assembled using the enclosed tools. It is very robust and well thought out. Which is lucky as my Gdaughter immediately began using it as a ram raider smashing into all the hall doors!The cart section is too small for a child to climb into which is a safety feature that I hadn't considered until my Gdaughter climbed into her dolls pram and tipped it over!

We bought this as a birthday present for our little boy, he absolutely loves it and is having hours of fun with it. The set up was straight forward, all the pieces have a letter sticker and the instruction booklet was easy to follow. The quality is outstanding, all the little details, moving conveyor belt, chip and pin machine, till drawer. We love Melissa and Doug toys as you get what you pay for and always to a high standard, a toys that will last. We also purchased the add on pack, it has an apron, food, next customer sign, counter accessories, money employee of the week sign, etc. we would definitely recommend this as you need all the extras as it really completes the set.

Bought this for my two year old who hates sitting in the trolly when shopping and was hoping this would encourage her to stay with me. We knew the plastic trolleys are very light and too easy to tip over so went for this one instead.Have to say it is a fantastic buy! Amazingly well made, solid, sturdy .... A perfect toddler/child replica of a real shopping trolly. My daughter loves pushing her trolly around the supermarket, collecting the items on her list etc, it has made shopping a lot less stressful for Mummy and daughter!Like others, I have had constant comments in how cute the trolly is from other shoppers,

I cannot recommend this highly enough, my daughter loves it and it's incredibly sturdy and well designed. My daughter is 18 months old so it's a little bit high for her to see over at the moment but that didn't stop her wandering confidently up and down the aisles of our local supermarket with it last month. She loved choosing her fruit and veg (her fave foods at the moment) and putting them in her trolley before pushing it to the checkout to pay. So many people commented on how sturdy the trolley seemed, not to mention how cute my daughter looked pushing it all by herself! It's a lot more expensive than other toy trolleys on the market but in this instance you certainly get what you pay for,

Although we got it in the saleI would still say its worth its money. It is literally like a mini trolley. Solid and sturdy and my daughter was so excited as its like the real thing. Think this is what gives it that extra specialness. It will last forever and her sister will grow into it. It will be a toy that will be used for years. My daughter up until now has had a plastic one that was a lot cheaper but kept needing to be fixed and she still played with that lots. Its a toy that might not be played with for a week or two but then got out again. Definately recommend. Go for it you won't be disapointed. I am a massive fan of melissa and doug toys anyway.

This was a Christmas present for my son, purchased in the hope it would make my weekly shop a bit less stressful. He absolutely loves it, it's taken the tantrums out of shopping, and it feels really nice and sturdy. The amount of comments we've had when walking around with it is incredible, and my son loves putting stuff in his trolley. The only downside, which has more to do with my son than the item, is that it allrently is great fun to crash into things and people, which isn't the most comfortable thing! We've bought a pool noodle we're hoping to cut down to size and attach to the front to minimise any damage done!

Do you have a child who's either obsessed with shopping or pushing things around this is perfect. My little boy needs hardy toys as he's not exactly gentle and this fits the bill perfectly. It's well built and sturdy. We've even taken it to the supermarket although at 2 years old he was OVER excited and managed to fill his trolley with his favourite...oranges!We had an issue with the seat which was bent in the box and didn't fit in the slot. I rang the helpline and they were fab! They sent me another seat so that Teddy could have a ride too.Overall a massive success and 5 out of 5!

Very sturdy and a good height. I have a tall three year old (she is the size of the average 5 year old) and she finds this a good size to push around. She loves putting her dolly or teddy or even Buzz lightyear in it and going to the shops. It copes well outside on the pavement although a little help is needed to get up the curbs. The basket could be with being a littl ebigger as when there is a toy sat in it there is little room to put anything in the main part but it fairs well... very sturdy and my 1 year old is using at as a walker and it doesnt tip.

This, while not cheap, is a durable item. Our granddaughter loves pushing it around the shops and you don't need to carry an actual shopping basket when you have this. It is very solidly made, safe to use and will outlast childhood.If there is one criticism, it is of the plastic 'seat' which will not allow the trolley flap to fold flat as with the full-size trolleys. We eventually took the seat off and zip-tied the flap folded shut without it.There is much to recommend this as a lasting toy and distraction for 3-6 year olds,

This little trolley is a brilliant solution for those that have little ones who like to race around every corner in the supermarket. Instead my little one is controlled, focusing on steering, talking to her teddy sat in the front and getting to put real groceries in! We both love it.This trolley is best on very smooth surfaces, as the wheels are plastic and not rubber. Still a great toy that we look forward to passing onto other children as its going to last and last! Pro Tip: don't leave it outside, indoor only as it can rust.

Expensive but brilliant. Worth every penny. Bought a "sturdy"looking trolley just before this one, which cost £30. That lasted exactly 17 days before it fell apart!! This cost £20 more, but worth the money. This Melissa and Doug trolley is very strong and sturdy, with a really good brake system. I'm sure my granddaughter's children will be playing with it. So very pleased I bought this for her 3rd birthday, she's thrilled to bits. She wants to take it to Tesco to help mum do the shopping!! I can highly recommend this item.

We are the Envy of all when we go shopping!! My daughter takes this everywhere!!Doesn't fold down so make sure you have room in your car for it!! Got laughs in the car park as i stood their seatbelting this in!!Fits a little doll and has enough room for some essentials, but not too much!!Beware at the ends of the travelators (in supermarkets) if thats what there called!! My 3 yr old wasnt strong enough to push it off the end and that could cause a nasty accident, just be prepared to give a helping hand!!

Ordered this trolley after initially buying a plastic trolley which was very flimsy & missing parts. So pleased I ordered this metal trolley. Received quickly from amazon. It's just like the real thing. It's strong & sturdy & has a great seat for teddy & is a good height. Can't wait for my 2 year old boy to open this on Xmas morning. He loves pushing things around & I'm sure this will keep him happy. It pays to spend a little more money on products. Would definitely recommend this product.

This trolley is like a real supermarket trolley, it is absolutely fabulous. It is strong and will last for years. The size is perfect for my 2 and a half year old grand daughter and will be suitable for a few years to come & then she can pass it on to her little brother.She absolutely loves it and puts her 'snoopy loo lah' grubby pink rabbit in the little dolls seat at the front and wheels her toys and shopping from room to room. This is the best child trolley on the market. WE LOVE IT!
