I have never felt the need to re-review an item, however this trolley has been amazingly strong. My grandson has had this for nearly 18 months (he is now nearly 3) and has had so much pleasure pushing this around mainly in the garden, bashing it into things and & in general being none too gentle and still it's all in one piece & going strong. Brilliant! THIS IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW :I chose this trolley for my 19 month old grandson as it looked more substantial than others on offer & was a good price. It took a while to fit all the bits together however, getting the 2 wheels on was ridiculous!! Eventually my husband had to take a hammer & a lot of force to them to get them to fix & stay on -clearly a major design fault here!It has taken quite a few bashings into things,as a 19month old would do, and so far all in one piece still. He has enjoyed playing 'shops' with all the accessories.A note to Casdon - in this day and age of equality, I think the pictures on the box for this trolley should not show just girls playing with it - boys certainly need to learn the art of shopping as well!!

Quite fiddly to put together but 100x better than the cheap plastic ones from Argos. You will need a hammer and a phillips screwdriver to put it together. Make sure it's the right size or you will round the screws off like I did as they are extremely soft metal. Would not stand up to being sat in or anything as the main body is plastic mesh but it will withstand being bashed into walls by my 2yr old. The key is on a bit of brown string and it would have been nicer if it was nylon string or something but I can change that. The cardboard cartons it comes with are not as good as other Casdon ones in that with the till, shopping basket etc you get brand names and these are made up things but kids won't mind (I just like the novelty of having the brand names as I'm a big kid). My 2yr old and 4yr old will love this for their shop. Overall extremely impressed but would not pay more than £16 for it when you can get a full metal one for a bit more.

Our granddaughter, she is 3, loves this trolley. The build quality is fine for how she and her younger sister uses it. No it would not be as good if your children are a little more physical with their toys, or even try to ride in it..! But she does tend to play quite gently and whilst the quality is noted as being good I can imagine that some would find it a little delicate...!The colours are great and it stands out nicely in her play area. The included boxes and fake tins of food compliment it nicely. Our granddaughter is tall for her age, she will be four in Feb, and yet its height is ideal for her. Her younger sister of almost two does also enjoy playing with it,when she is allowed...!A good buy and most appreciated.

Finally, a trolley that my 2 year old can play with that isn't falling apart. The frame is made of metal, which gives the whole thing better support. The basket and handle are plastic, but tightly fixed to the metal. The wheels are plastic and bit flimsy, but should hold as long as there is no weight put on them as they are hammered into the metal axel. The food boxes that come with the trolley are some of the best quality I've seen. They are glossed and well made. The key on the handle is a nice touch, but the string makes it look a bit out of place.Overall, I would definitely recommend this item. It is a nice size, so will still get plenty if use as my child grows.

Bought this for our 3 year old grandson and he simply loves it.Got to agree with others that the wheels were very difficult construct and I ended up using a rubber mallet and a block of wood to whack them on (probably just voided my guarantee, but that's what was needed). However, once built it is a sturdy little trolley, far better than the one we bought from Tesco's, which could have done with a National Tyre breakdown policy as the wheels fell off so many times. It is light enough to pick up with a couple of fingers and small enough to drop in the boot with the shopping.

Very happy with this little trolley. Its perfect for my 18month old. Was fairly easy and quick to put together and I was really impressed with the play food boxes that came with it. They were nice a thick and not easy to rip up like ones I've had in the past...if anybody has a little girl like mine who is going through a stage of ripping pages out books or anything she gets or hands on for that matter they will understand what I mean. Definatly great value for money

My two years old daughter is crazy about her new trolley! She doesn't want to go shopping without it. So I have a big supermarket trolley for milks, potatoes and other heavy stuff, and she gets all the maffins, cheeses, chocolates etc )))It's very funny to assemble, easy to be managed by a baby, nicely designed and it's so much fun! You will love to shop! Hey parents with babies who love to scream at the supermarkets, you should really buy this one!!!

Very cute little shopping trolley for your little ones for role play and fun. It’s not as big as you would think but big enough for 2 years old. Quality is good but not used much as yet as it was an xmas gift to my 2 year old. It comes with couple of plastic tins, food boxes flat packed and few labels. Instructions are easy and takes around 15-20 mins or less. Hopefully it will last couple of years and provide loads of fun to my kids.

Purchased on special, for my Great Nephew who has a shop and post office - ideal for social development - nice to see a BOY on packaging as well as some 'older' fathers still prefer to think this is a girlie item - he plays in his shop with boys and girls. This Christmas Day he had his dad on till and insisted the purchases were taken out to the car and loaded - and unloaded - I was not there, but suspect I was not very popular!!

I bought this shopping trolley to replace another one which we received as a christmas gift (from a different company) which broke within a couple of days. This trolley is fantastic and very durable however as a warning on the hole it was easy to put together apart from the washers on the wheels which were very difficult to push into place and I had to resort to hammering them on as neither I or my husband could push them on.

This trolley is just like the real thing (except the googly eyes). It has been enjoyed greatly by a friends daughter (aged 2), but it's not just for pretending to go shopping, it appears to also be used for transporting all sorts around the house. Not just suitable for girls as the colours are for either boys or girls - Hours of fun. It has also been taken to the supermarket to help Mummy with the shopping. A good purchase.

This is a toy with lots of play value, and the contents are pleasingly realistic. Children all like to play at what they see adults doing, and this can be used inside or out. It was not particularly easy to put together! Also, although the frame is strong and durable, the wheels are less so and one quickly came off and needs repair. However it was a very popular birthday present, and I can see it having appeal for ages.

It is simple a little bit flimsy, but it works for what it is. Good price. The boxes look good. There is only a few groceries but all and all it looks really good.My baby actually enjoyed playing with it. It could dangerous for toddlers, especially if they are new at walking on their own, however, once they do walk well, this toy helps them focus on keeping the balance on their own feed, as this toys is so wimpy.

great little gift for my 2 year old son, you get some food boxes to put together with it as well, it pushes around nicely. Only thing is the holes are bigger than id like as my son has pretend play food and some of the smaller pieces of food fall through the basket so i have had to put a sheet of paper on the bottom of the trolley basket. Lovely little toy for little ones who like to shop!

Very fiddly to put together & some bits had to have a bit shaved off to get the plastic to fit correctly & one of the wheels doesn’t turn properly as it barely skims the ground, but it was very inexpensive & our granddaughter loves it, so for play value it is brilliant. She is 2yrs old & it’s exactly the right height for her, so I would say that for older children it would be too small.
