i was so excited when i found this item on Amazon because we had one of these when we were little, although i think it was originally bought for my big sister it was one of the few toys that made it still in one piece after we all played with it and our mum had five of us so it got some use and then a few years ago it was found in the attic and gave to my nephews. So if this one even lasts half of that time it will be worth it' weight in gold ha ha i remember having great fun with this and now my little girl loves to play house and shop keeper so im sure when she sees this on Christmas morning she will be very happy - if not i will play with it ;)highly recommend this item and i think Fisher-Price make really good toys that last for years and are worth their money.

I've bought this excellent toy for my granddaughter's first birthday. I still have my own daughter's FP cash register from the early 80's! am so pleased that FP have decided to reproduce this toy - it's brilliant and my own children loved playing with it and now my grandchildren! There are 6 coins, 2 of each colour and denomination, which will only fit into their respective slots in the cash register. Once loaded in the cash register, at the press of a button, the coins can be either put into the cash register drawer for a sale or fall out of the side for change. Brilliant!

My daughter has just turned 2 and this was one of her birthday presents. I think she is still a little bit young to appreciate all of the functions and start role playing with it properly but she has been very interested in pressing the buttons, pulling the lever and putting the pretend money into the machine. I am sure it won't be long before she uses it more.....perhaps at 2 1/2 or 3 years old this product would be more suitable. Either way, the cash register is well put together with lots of different options for toddlers to explore.

Love this toy and I’m sure my son will, however.... was very disappointed to arrive home from work to find that the it had been delivered in its original packaging with a delivery sticker on the side rather than in a plain brown box. It’s intended for a Christmas present and it has a whacking great Amazon delivery label on the side, doesn’t look great. Sure, my two year old son won’t know, but my five year old saw it and i know she’ll remember it when Father Christmas delivers it on Christmas morning..... a bit disappointing.

I remember this toy from when I was a kid in the late 70s and early 80s, whilst I didn't actually own one I remember playing with one a friend had and loved it. I got one for my 2 year old daughter this Christmas and she loves it, she loves the large plastic coins which I think Fisher Price should sell separately aswell as it would be nice to have more than 6 coins. Some people have posted that they have one from the 70s/80s and that shows if looked after how durable it is so I hope to have this one for a long time.

My kids (aged 3.5 and 1.5) spent loads of time playing with my husband's oldFisher Price cash register at his parents' house and loved it so much that I thought we should get one for our house too. The only difference seems to be slightly updated colours and that you can now put any coin into any of the 3 slots (it used to frustrate kids anyways before). My kids love this thing and spend hours playing with it and sharing it (a minor miracle in itself). Definitely recommended.

Bought for my son's 2nd birthday - mainly out of nostalgia as I loved mine when I was little. I did feel it was pricey but there is definitely a nostalgia element. However it really paid off as he loves it. He hasnt quite grasped all the various functions yet so it's got a lot of mileage to it yet. He will play with it for ages. He has also regularly hurled it onto the floor and it hasnt broken (although it was close to breaking my hub's foot when it hit him). very happy!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 17 month old daughter and she has really enjoyed playing with it. I like how the plastic coins are chunky so are easy for my daughter to pick up and slot into the till. My 5 year old daughter has also taken a real liking to the till as its helping her practice her numbers/maths which is great! The till & coins are also very good quality and sturdy. Would certainly recommend to parents of young children.

This is a really nice, well thought out item. There are two 'keys' for either getting change coins or going into the drawer. The handle is turned to open the drawer but there is hardly room for little hands to get into the drawer to get the coins out. And unfortunately the bell doesn't always ring on turning the handle. My grandson loves it but it can get a little frustrating for him. And therefore, at the price is rather expensive.

Got this for my son's first birthday. He loves it and plays with it daily. He's still not able to put the coins in the slot or press the keys but he loves bashing the coins on it and placing coins in and out of the drawer. He does stick the coins in his mouth a lot! He loves watching me press change and coins popping out the side... Well I'm 35 and I love playing with it!!

I used to have this maybe 30+ years ago and I remember it being in a good condition for decades. The modern version is of a lesser built quality but it seems that it will still last for years to come.My two daughters, 1.5yo and 5yo like playing with it. Its either "shop" or just putting the coins through the slots. Not how fisher-price made them but still good

My 37 year old daughter had a Fisher Price till when she was young and loved it, as did all her friends. So when it came to buying my granddaughter a Christmas present this was a must have. She loves it and if any children call round they all want to play with it.It is still as much fun and robust as the original one. Sorry I gave that one away though.

I was dubious about buying this as a lot of reviewers complained about the quality. I have had no problem with the quality and the kids love this classic toy far more than the modern battery operated chip and pin till they have with flimsy coins. Cons are lovely and chunky and easy to find when come astray from the till. Well done Fisher-Price!

My son received this till as a present an I must say its brilliant admitted it doesn't do alot but my son has spent hours playing with it. My son is nearly 3 and also have an older son who is five an he also loves it and his friends they all play shops with it couldn't recommend this toy more really brings out the kids imaginative play
