This is rather nice and nostalgic, and the metal parts look nice. But that's the problem. It uses some plastic parts and some of the modern, simplified and cheapened assembly methods, so is hardly accurately nostalgic.Most importantly, the prices currently being charged are utterly ludicrous. If you play the nostalgia card, you might swallow 30 pounds. Beyond that, you're being had. But, if you're intent on paying 150 quid, let me know; I'l let mine go for that- all parts still bagged and untouched.

Good sturdy meccano set, in a proper box with compartments! My eleven year old had no problem putting it together.Lovely toy!

one big problem all the shafts and crank handle were missing and could not get replacement parts so far
