These are the second bag I have bought (1st bag bought elsewhere). We have the table as well which is great.I already have these at home which my granddaughter has been playing happily with since she was a baby (now 3). Inevitably some have been lost along the way over couple years so when she was here yesterday, building a tower and castle, we found that we needed more as we have lost half of them over past couple years so I was happy to come across a bag of them on here for such good value.They are a great buy, different sizes and some with different shapes so kids can really let their imaginations go. The zip bag they come in is really handy as we've had our first bag for 2 yrs,

I got this for my daughter who just turned two last month and absolutely loves it.If you're like me and wondering between this and the Lego Duplo ones, I feel these are a much better value for money for roughly the same quality. Yes I know Lego is probably a more "famous" brand, but I don't believe in paying almost twice as much just because of the brand name.The blocks are made of sturdy plastic and look like they can take quite a bit of a hit (my daughter tends to build towers and then knock them down!) and are quite chunky so they're safe enough for young children (as opposed to the Lego / Lego Technic ones aimed at slightly older children).The pack comes with around 60 blocks (I haven't counted them)

My 2 years old daughter loved it at first sight. We also have some Lego branded building blocks at home and in comparison the mega blocks ones have more colors and are less edgy so the baby finds them erasier to assemble and more appealing. On the minus side, they are not interchangeable with Lego, but often the baby tries to mix them together. If you have Lego or other brand of building blocks at home do not expect them to be interchangeable I am afraid.The Lego blocks assemble are a bit tigher, so whem making tall towers they stay together better. The baby likes to dissasemble as much as assemble so this is not a problem for us, on the contrary,

L enjoyed playing with the mega blocks and we found the storage bag useful as it takes up a lot less room than the boxes that some similar blocks come in. L also found it easy to tidy the blocks away back in to the bag and zip it up when he had finished playing with them. He found it easy to put the blocks together and take a part and made towers etc with ease. He did ask how to make more complex things such as horses, robots and castles so it maybe an idea to include some cards showing these sorts of objects made from the blocks so that children can copy them and see exactly which size and shaped blocks are used to make them.

These blocks are great, they feel well made and good quality. The colours in the set are lovely and bright and although it's listed a pink set, intended more so for girls, it's not so girly as to put a boy off. I gave these to my one year old, she loves the colours and it's great that they're a good size for her to pick up and I have no worries that she'll hurt herself on them in any way. I'm not sure of the age range of 1-5, my four year old boy likes building so these are a bit too basic to keep him entertained for long. I'm hoping in a few months when his sister becomes more active with toys, that this will be good for them playing together and help him to feel more involved with her play.

Upon opening the package I was surprised how many pieces there were in the bag, 60! The bag is perfect for storing away and it fits nicely under the bed and helps to teach the little ones 'tidying up' at the end of a play session. It is great that the bag has some building ideas on the packaging if you or the little one is a bit stumped. The colours are very bright and we used the bricks also as a learning tool for colours and counting as well as fun play. This has been the go-to toy since receiving it and has been used to create my little one's version of Stone Henge, the Eiffel Tower and the Colloseum! Of course other toys have crept into play,

We got this for our two children, aged 1 and 5, and they have both had lots of fun making things. The eldest said they were great for making really big towers, cakes and enclosures for animals and that they are really good to play with. We had lots of fun pretending to make cakes after watching Junior Bake Off with the bloks. The youngest is drawn to them for various things. He enjoys trying to build with them, banging them together and putting them in a big bus to push along! They are really nice colours and are very well made. They withstand a lot of banging and rough treatment! They are a big hit in our house and even the big cousins have enjoyed playing with them!

I wasn’t sure at first if the bag would stand up to my 3-year-old daughter but I was pleasantly surprised. It so far has survived all sorts of rough treatment. The plastic zip seems very strong and can withstand being torn open. In the bag we had 63 blocks instead of the stated 60, not that I am complaining. The colour of the blocks are more biased towards pink (more pink and purples than the blues and greens) but that hasn’t stopped my son from using them too. All the blocks fit together perfectly as you would expect. There are various shapes along with the usual 2, 4, and single block bricks to add to the variety.

These blocks were for my 12 month old who had real fun building and kicking them down and trying to fit the pieces together, it kept him occupied for a long while, his older sister also joined in and started building all sorts of imaginative buildings, the colour assortment is very varied and goes well with anything that was built, the blocks are easy to grasp and easy to put together and take apart, my 12 month old did this with ease. Overall they are fab blocks and will definitely buy more and would definitely recommend.

My son was so happy when we received the parcel for the mega blocks, he loves building things and creating things, knocking them down and rebuilding. Unfortunately the colours weren't very boy friendly but he didn't care as long as he was able to build. He uses the blocks to build towers and to use with his cars. They are very user friendly as they are big enough for the child to play alone with the worry of him swallowing. They help with creative play, and I would recommend them to every parent.

We had this item sent to review and I'm so glad we did. My daughter has played with them every day since. My daughter is 3 and loves EVERYTHING pink and girly so the colour was a huge hit. We have used them to build castles and spaceships, dinosaurs and even a princess with a crown. We've used them to count, practice shapes and colours and the bag they come in make them easily transportable do they have been everywhere with us. They have been a huge hit, would definitely recommend them to anyone

This product is brilliant, I purchased it as a Christmas present for my 18 month old niece and she loves it.The quality is brilliant and I don't have to worry about her being at harm with the product and she has endless amounts of fun playing with it.The pricing of the product was also really reasonable and much cheaper than elsewhere.I reserved this product around Christmas time, as I was very busy at work shop so found reserving this and being able to collect it after work was really useful

These are really great first building blocks. We really liked that they are colourful and a good size for a child to pick up and build. My child really like that he could build lots of different things and enjoyed copying the giraffe on the front of the carry bag. My child noticed that the carry bag handle had a brick like design which they thought was cool. Really excellent product and a lot more colourful than previous blocks I've bought so really pleased. I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this for my niece, whos 1 and she loves getting them all out of the bag and tapping them together, my daughters played with them with her and theyre aged 3 and 9 so they are great for all children. the colours are attractive and the bricks are a good size, chunky so good for little hands and no chance of choking. The bag is a fantastic storage solution too.Theyre a really good price for the amount you get and theres no chance of breakage or looking old and tired, great value

This block was bought as a Christmas present for an 18 month old infant. They came in a strong bag that was durable and great for a child’s product. The blocks are incredibly well made and strong. They were able to take a battering from children from 18months to 4yrs of age. Christmas Day was made so much fun because of these blocks the kids were quiet but safe. Already purchased another 2 bags to make a big collection of blocks for the 18month old. Perfect gift & perfect blocks.
