You know with Tomy that you are going to get a quality product, and you also know with Tomy that it’s going to take you ages to get all the packaging off, if the world ended tomorrow then all that would be left would be cockroaches and a range of Tomy toys, still fastened to their boxes.After removing the packaging, and setting the tractor up on the table, I proudly showed my Grandson his new toy... after getting him back after he walked away in indiffererence I picked up the ‘electrical’ screwdriver that comes with it and revved it a few times, that got his attention, once I started taking a wheel off, removing the nut, he had a go, and for the next three hours he spent his time taking the tractor apart - you can remove the bonnet (

I absolutely love seeing my children learn fine motor skills through learning and this is a fine example of giving a child a toy that he can enjoy Without him knowing he is learning through play . I often worry about small parts on toys although age limits state they’re ok , sometime these pieces still pose a threat and I’ve been looking to buy my son a tool set because he loves watching his dad and been reluctant due to the smallPieces included in the usual sets elsewhere ,I was absolutely over joyed to find this item on my doorstep and it’s defintely something different. He loves been able to use his drill to take the tractor apart and rebuildIt so he gets two toys in one .

My daughter is 22 months and my son is 7 years old and he had to help her to use the toy each time she wanted to play with it as she found it a bit tricky to operate the screwdriver.Taking it apart was the easier option for her and enjoyed removing the screws and taking it apart, putting it together makes it much more difficult and my 7 year old had to have a little bit of guidance when the switch needed to be flicked over to make it operate correctly.The parts are sturdy and it's a relatively large toy so great for working together and interacting with your child as well as helping them to learn with co-ordination and problem solving.We can see that this toy would be a great developmental toy

As a toy in and of itself, my little lad loves it!!! This is a brilliant idea and I'm very glad I bought it for him. He can sit there for ages putting it together, taking it apart, playing with the drill by itself or the tractor by itself. Possibly the best Christmas present he received given how much he plays with it.When this came through the drill was not working and I needed to take it apart and set to it with the soldering iron on 2 joints. That's why it's 4 star not a 5 star. I guess it could have received a 3 star rating, but given how much he loves it, I couldn't do that. The mechanism in the drill is super simple, so wasn't a major issue either.

This is a really great toy for preschoolers - it's a car that can be taken apart and put back together again using a motorised screwdriver. It's simple to use and once the boys were shown how to change the drill bits and how to change the direction it drills in, they were able to take it apart and put it back together again without additional help. It comes apart easily and isn't complicated for a toddler to piece back together. It kept them busy for a full afternoon and they had a lot of fun pretending to be 'builders' and fixing the car, so it was fantastic for encouraging role play. This was probably the most popular toy we've had all year and my three-year-olds are still obsessed with it weeks later.

Absolutely love this toy.Got it for my 2 year old for her birthday and it ia brilliant!Was suprised that the drill came with batteries already installed.It has three positions: off, left, and right.Comes with 2 drill bits: possie and flat.And you can use the drill head, too, so there are 3 options for screwing and unscrewing.There is even a nicely placed section om the back to store the drill bits.All of the bits are fairly large, but the screws do fit nicely into a mouth.The details on the whole toy are also pretty good.Overall this is a fantastic item and I am very glad I got it. Highly recommended.

My youngest childs favourite things to do, are play with tractors and build things. The John Deere 'Build a Johnny' Preschool Tractor Farm Toy is the perfect match for this as not only do you get the cute John Deere tractor to play with, but you can build him up with screws and take them out again. Made of chunky parts so it is easy for little hands to assemble, and the battery powered drill is so much for and has 2 attachments to it. I love how children can easily take the tractor apart by unscrewing it, and then can work out how and where to build it back up so that Johnny is fixed again.

My son has tested the durability and sturdiness of this product. He is 14 months. Initial testing involved disassembly. With and without power tool. Result satisfactory.Assembly - needed assistance of big brother.Bash test - bouffed off kitchen cupboards- did not mark them or toy itself.Power tool torque - turned on while changing nappy and bit it with his mouth- giggled at the funny feeling.Speed test- now he is walking pushes it one circuit around kitchen island. Handles well, drifts at corners and speeds down the straight.Would buy lots more to race against family members.

We recently got this for our three year old son. He loves that he can take Johnny to pieces and rebuild him as it's something he's not able to do with any of his other toys. The electric screwdriver is brilliant as it switches between left and right turns via the switch on the top [something it took me a while to realise!] which means he has learned the difference between one way to screw tightly and the other way to release. The cabin of the tractor is a little tricky to fix back on by slotting into the toy, but otherwise, this is a toy that has kept him busy for quite a while!

I am SO GLAD I got to try them item!!!! I thought it was going to be a small, little toy.. but it turns out, it is big!!!!! My son LOVES cars/trucks/tractors/trains so this is perfect! It is a great learning toy for kids as well! Pretty much every kid loves John Deere.. And they made an amazing product when they made this! I was leary of trying out this toy, but am SO glad I decided to try it out! I think that ANY parent that has a kid that loves tractors, should try this toy! Their kid will love it and the parent will not regret it either!

I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion. The packaging was cute but trying to get the product out of the box was a nightmare. The ties were in like triple knots. My son is 15 months and really enjoyed this toy. It was easy to take a part and put together. Hes a little to young to do by himself though. But even my 5 year old enjoyed this product. I love that its a learning product and how its small enough to take in the car too. All around its perfect for toddlers and children under 6. Just that packaging though....

I received it quickly. My little guy LOVED it! The parts are big enough to handle, and not small enough to choke on. It brings out imagination, and motor skills, and is really fun for the kids to play with. It is Perfect for a smaller child to practice their fine motor skills. They can take it apart and put it back together as many times as they wish. Parts are easy to remove and put together. Gives a sense of independence, cause Mom and Dad don't have to help. The colors are bright and attract attention. It is cuter in person.

This little toy is perfect to entertain for hours at a time. It has a battery operated drill that can take apart the little tractor or the tractor can be played with as a rolling vehicle. The drill needs a couple of AA batteries, so be sure to have those on hand when you purchase. The parts are nice and thick, so super easy for little hands to handle. Seriously, this toy is perfect to learn hand/eye coordination and putting parts together. Your little guy (or girl) will love this!! Don't hesitate to purchase!

This toy is great for preschoolers like my little daughter who is 3 years old. The design is fantastic. It is also very cute and your little ones can build it with screws and then take them out again. This is a lot of fun! The drill is definitely our favourite part. Kids love playing with things like this so you can imagine how much fun this is. The parts are sturdy and it's relatively big but perfect for little hands to play with! This is definitely a toy that we would recommend to family and friends.

I bought this for my sons 2nd Birthday. He absolutely loves it. I was really pleased when it arrived by how well packaged it was and how strong it looked, the size and quality is better than I expected.My son took to it straight away and has taken it apart and rebuilt it countless times. Even his 6 year old sister enjoys having a go! We've had it a month now and it's still his favorite. I honestly can't fault it, I only wish there were more vehicles in the range so he had some others to build.
