Magnets were needed to help my grandson with his homework. These did the job, and then give entertainment and fun. Magnetic fishing was a long forgotten toy until now. There is no horseshoe magnet, but you can build a substitute for when you need it. The plastic mouldings are up to the job they are asked to do. Do read the advice leaflet in the box and protect credit cards et al.

Our boys (6 and 3) love this! Great quality.You can build a little car or boat and also they can 'fish' - learn through play :)There's a little booklet included with clear instructions and ideas.Bought it for our 6 years old but little one wanted to join in, too :)They both love it!Can only recommend it!

Got this at an airport for our 5 year old, she had quite a lot of fun with it. Also her 8 year old cousin was busy for a hour or two with this one as well.It could be a bit better made, not sure how long it will last. The magnets are not very strong, but then I guess they are worried about safety reasons.

My grandson was thrilled with this, as like most small boys he is fascinated by magnets. He has built various toys with the kit. It is certainly a step up from the iron filings we used to have at school to show the power of magnets. A marvellous kit all in a compact box. Excellent value.

The parcel arrived very quickly and item well packaged. The Manet Science kit had lots of different activities which totally absorbed my normally very active grandson for hours. He was fascinated and kept rushing to show me his latest project. Result!

My little boy loves magnets and running round the house to see what things his magnets stick to. As such this is a much played with kit. I would have been prepared to pay a little more though for a few extra bits and some additional variations.

I bought the Magnet Science as a gift for Christmas. Reading the instructions on the box I would say that it is just the sort of thing that I was looking for my nephew and with his inquisitive mind, I'm sure he will enjoy doing the experiments.

I brought this to teach a Science lesson which I was to be observed for, I wanted to make it a fun lesson as well as educational, this magnet set did the job. The students were amazed with some of the activities I managed to do.

My son is obsessed with magnets and he absolutely loves this. You get a whole pile of different shapes and sizes and tiny metal bits and pieces to play with until they get hoovered up and are never seen again.

A very useful collection of magnets and conductive materials for young children to experiment with. With adult supervision and feedback some basic science concepts can be introduced in an interesting way.

Great value easy to use set, my 6 year old boy loves this and the different things that you can do with the various magnets and examples in the leaflet, favourite one was the levitation experiment.

My son enjoys playing with it but there are a few flat metal fish and tons of metal tiny bolts which he lost most of them in a few days. Larger and fewer stuff to pick would have been better

He loves anything to do with science so I can imagine he'll be delighted with this. It is well packaged and looks great fun. It arrived promptly and in very good packaging. Great service.

absolute brilliant item, has kept both my 3 & 8 yr old amazed, fascinated, entertained and its fun!good value for money too, would recommend to anyone with inquisitive minded children.

Good fun for children. My 2 had fun exploring various objects in the house to test their magnetism as well as doing the fun activities in the kit.A little overpriced for what it is
