A friend has this toy for her baby so I already knew how great, soft and light it was. One thing that lots of parents worry about are toys smacking them in the face and hurting them, especially their eyes. However, these are really light and soft. So even if they threw it in the air (which they will trust me) and hits them in the face it won‘t hurt one bit. It is super durable as my friends baby had it for AGES and it looked like recently bought. I especially love that 1-2 of the blocks have a little bell in them which catches their attention even more. Super fun and engaging with the pictures that you could turn into a puzzle if wanted to. So lots of options and even 15+ months the baby still plays with it.Therefore it gets long time use out of it. Oh and don‘t be surprised if the item looks slightly different. They have new updated designs on the blocks. The picture on Amazon shows an older version, but you can see in my picture how it looks different. For a second I thought it was a different item/brand until I had another closer look lol. Comes in a handy storage bag as well, which makes it cuter to give as a gift, which was the purpose of the purchase.

We love these blocks* They’re soft, so they don’t hurt our baby or make a horrible noise when knocked over. Much better than wooden blocks for a very young baby!* They’re light, and therefore reasonably easy to balance-on a good day our 15 month old can stack them herself* They’re a decent size, so easily held with both hands (by baby) and not easily lost under furniture* There are two of every animal, so as she grows up she can match the pairs* She can also learn colours by matching the backgrounds (four of each colour)* They’re colourful and grab her attention* The pictures are a fun way for her to learn/ sing the animals* Because they’re light, they’re a good toy to grab for a picnic/family walk. They’re big enough to throw like a ball tooA number of reviewers have said only having one with a bell is a problem. My little one actually isn’t too bothered by the bell, she prefers to point at the animals, the bell is a nice extra touch. We haven’t tried washing them yet, but they’re extremely light, so assuming they survive the machine, I’m pretty certain they’re dry really quickly!

When my daughter was 1 I bought these as a nice safe stimulating toy to look at. As she grew she loved knocking them over whenever I made a tower. Soon after she could make her own towers. The reason I call them the ultimate toy is they can be used for different games as your kids grow. We use these either in the living room or on the trampoline for 'cube fighting' we make dens inside and throw them at each other or bounce round the trampoline trying to hit each other. We've never had so much fun from a toy that are meant for babies! They have a good variety of images for young kids. When put together one side makes a beanstalk, another makes a row of different vehicles, the rest are great animals. One cube has a rattle inside which is the same cube that has the washing instructions (can wash at 30 degrees but can't tumble dry).I'd recommend these as the games you can play with them are endless... Came back to update this review as we are buying another 6 so we can intensify our trampoline cube fighting ?

In total there are six blocks which come in a handy plastic carry case. They are brightly coloured and have a variety of different animals and vehicles on which can be used to introduce babies and small children to basic pictures and words. In addition there is a picture of a beanstalk which runs through all six and gives older children a puzzle to do in putting the blocks in the right order and completing the beanstalk. No issues with stacking them, you can put all six one on top of the other and they are soft enough that they do not harm baby when they are toppled over. They are a good size and my son has started to clasp a block on opposing sides to hold it up. As commented on by some other purchasers, there is only one block with a bell in, and whilst it would be nice if there were more, this is only a minor point.

I got these foam blocks for my baby son. They were an instant hit. The bright colours and animal pictures make them really appealing. They are sturdy enough to build them all up into a tower and knock them down. The pictures have started a good talking point for me to encourage animal sounds and counting. When older children have visited us they have enjoyed these blocks too, and have made up guessing games with them.I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting something stimulating for their baby/child. I have washed them in the washing machine a couple of times and they seemed to reform their shape no problem.

These are very nice little colourful blocks and match the description. I like how if your building a tower the pictures can interlink with each other. My baby is nearly 6 months and he holds them no problem. He enjoys chewing, kicking and knocking them. Nice they come in a carry case for easy storage. Only one block has a noise effect of a bell and they are all the same material...it does state on the description only one block makes a noise so I wish I had read it better and got some blocks with more texture and noises but over all little baba seems happy with his new toys.

I bought my daughter a set of these after she kept being attracted to them at soft play sessions. These blocks are brightly coloured (although they do fade slightly in the wash) and depict both farmyard and wild animals.Great for stacking, chewing and prompting conversations about animal noises/ animal names and numbers when they're a little bigger. I also noticed that they prompted nice interstions between my baby and my toddler. They also come in a nice clear plastic case with a handle for visits to friend's houses!Great value, a staple for the toy bin!

I loved these when I first spotted them and looked at cheaper alternatives but I'm so glad I decided to stick with these ones, they are big, soft and really colourful with all different animals on each Square. One comes with a little bell inside to make it a bit more interesting, perfect for babies that are learning to interact with others. They come in a wee bag that fits them all in which is perfect for taking out and about with you, I regularly take them to family members houses to keep little one occupied while visiting

First impressions, he was mesmerised with the printed pictures and studied them closely. At nearly six months he was shaking his little hands, gesturing towards one of the cubes. He was able to grasp one of the blocks between his tiny fingers and with help he later knocked down all the blocks which was great fun and made him laugh. We attempted to play catch, so soft they are safe to throw. The blocks even taste good too as he had a good chew before falling asleep with exhaustion. Play time over for today.

Bought these as a Christmas present for my newborn nephew. They arrived in a clear plastic holding bag that keeps them compact for storing. They are really soft and have brightly coloured designs which make them a fun toy for a little boy who loves to throw everything around. He was just over 3 months when he got them, where he was able to touch and feel them. Now at nearly 9 months, he enjoys building them up and knocking them down. His mum loves these because they are a safe toy that he enjoys.

Health professionals use these a lot for assessing children's development, including pincer, gross motor skills and language. Blocks are 4" cubes, so easy to grasp and can be thrown safely, squished, stood on. 6 blocks gives plenty of variety and creativity options. 1 bell is good so you can play hide and seek the bell and assess hearing too. Little ones love to try and find the bell. In my view these days there are too many toys with too many sounds, which overload the senses. 1 bell is plenty!

This is the third set of these blocks that I have bought: the first set was for my first grandson, back in 2007. He loved them and they were passed on to his younger brother. The second set live at my house for visiting children. This most recent set was a birthday gift for a boy of one. They are perfect for little ones. They love to knock over towers built by grown ups and they can't be hurt by them. The pictures are bright and fun and one foam brick has a bell inside. Great fun!

These are a set of 6 brightly covered foam blocks featuring images on each side and with a stackable image of a beanstalk spread across 6 of the sides. They are soft and squeezable and the little one in my family absolutely adores them, either pushing them over by hand or kicking them down by foot. One of the blocks also features a bell sound when shaken and dropped. There are no hard edges or sharp corners and my granddaughter absolutely loves playing with them.

Brought these when on offer so definitely worth it. Perfect size for a small baby. My 10 month old still plays with them and has done since she was 3 months. They would make a lovely gift, you will not be disappointed at the quality. My only gripe is that only one of the blocks has a small bell that jingles in it, it would not have hurt for the makers to add a couple more but does not detract from enjoyment by my daughter.

The cubes are good in size and colourful. However the pictures on them are repeated. I think 3 of them show the same cat picture, the dog and the pig are at least double. I wanted them as additional tool to teach words and make up stories and I would not buy them again.Update: now that my twins are older, they love the blocks and I can get them to find the same picture etc. So from 6 months upwards they are a good buy.
