First off the product is great my 4 year old loves it, everyday he is on it. The items are just the right size for him.Now the part regarding the delivery, I ordered this product along with 2 other items and have them all dispatched at the same time, when I got the conformation email and who was delivering it my heart sank. As soon as I saw HDNL / Yodel in the e-mail that was it, we have ordered goods from amazon and other companies that use this delivery company out of 8 items now I have only ever received 2 of them undamaged or they never turned up, I was even lied to for 3 days from this company as to the whereabouts of Diablo 3 that I ordered for a B'day gift it never showed after being told for 3 days it was going to be with me that day.

I bought this product for my children 2 years ago now and just coming back to buy some more for a friend, realising I never left a review. In my opinion this is a great quality product for a very reasonable price. After 2 years of heavy use by 2 children, lots of chewing, throwing around the room, etc. I have never noticed a single fleck of paint to have ever chipped off. A good variety of shapes and colours leaving a lot of scope for a great range of imaginative building projects. We have so many toys that get played with intensely for 2 or 3 months and then get forgotten about and become old news, but sometimes the simple ones are the best,

This is such a lovely little block set perfect for under 5s. Bought this for my 1 yr old and even though he prefers knocking down blocks rather than building with them, I know this set will provide hours of entertainment once he gets the hang of it. The blocks are brightly coloured and the paintwork is smooth. There’s a good variety of shapes included. We haven’t had trouble building with them like some of the other reviewers as the finish on the blocks has enough friction to keep them balanced on one another. Although they’re quite small, they’re perfect for little hands to hold.?I’d really recommend these as a gift for young children.

Beautiful bright coloured blocks, We bought these for our 4 year old daughter as a present for coping so well with this whole lockdown experience and being quite a educational toy thought it was great to use as part of homeschooling maths activities.I’m a nursery nurse and my children at school all love Woden blocks and I know Mellissa & Doug always do such sturdy wooden toys there were cheaper products but stuck with this one and am so happy with them. Even my husband has been getting creative with building with them lol.Would recommend ?

My husband and I have spent hours upon hours with our 8 month old building towers for her to knock down. I like the colors and various shapes. Right now she likes to bang them together and chew on them, but I think the building will come in time! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the paint has come off some. However, my daughter has teeth and really goes at it when she chews them so it's probably unavoidable. I trust Melissa & Doug to use safe paint so it's really not much of a worry for me.

Some 60 years ago I got some similar blocks for Christmas. Loved them! Purchased further blocks 35 years ago for my daughter and were loved by her and our second daughter. Bought these to keep in the house for niece and nephew (7 & 4 years) when they stay. They love these blocks, which are great quality and real VFM. Build things and invent all sorts of uses. Just superb.

These are ace and make a terrific sound when knocked down. Kids and adults are transfixed on building the highest and strongest tower. Wonderful for a rainy day,which is handy!!We have mixed other blocks in that we have for extra buildings!Nice to see toys are still being made from wood as well plastic also :)CAUTION: painful if trodden/sat on LOL

Build a tower, then watch how baby smashes it and laughs like a little devil. he heThese blocks have that wonderful retro feel to them.One hundred quality solid wooden blocks in happy colours. After so many generations they still are a staple in the toy box and offer far more scope for creativity than any modern-day toy.Fantastic value for money!

The quality of the blocks are brilliant, such variety in shapes, sizes and building opportunity! My 4 year old loves making towers to be knocked down by cars or dinosaurs or building garages or dens for the more lucky toys! I will also admit to finding building impossible, tall structures slightly addictive for the adults in the family too! :)

Got these in a Black Friday deal but even at full price they represent quality and good value. The blocks are a good variety of shapes and colours, with 100 in total they offer a great variety of options for creative play, our 2yo happily sits at the dining room table playing with them in all manner of configurations

Bought these for my young children to play with. They think that they are great and constantly trying to build new things with them. The quality of the blocks is excellent and they are just the right size. In fact the quality of all the Melissa and Doug item that we have bought has been really good. Recommended.

My four year old has had many fun times with us building all sorts, started as a toddler with him watching us build and helping knock down, to a very happy four year old building from imagination, loves his rockets, castles and garages........still enjoys knocking it all down though ha ha........!

Very pleased with this product. Very good quality wooden blocks, not too big and not too small. Very colourful and plenty in the box to make wonderful designs for my 19mth old little boy who loves knocking them down afterwards. Only problem is picking them all up afterwards!!!!!

The blocks were delivered before scheduled delivery and in good condition. Sturdy and colorful blocks and the kids love them, spending hours in creating structure through imagination. Good set for developing mortar and cognitive skills. Good quality and value for money.

Amazing product, hours of entertainment out of it. It is amazing to see the children's imagination flying to build new stuff. The only issue we ever had is that they never want to pick it up and put it away and we end up doing it, but that is not the products fault ;)
