My nearly 4 year old son really likes this and unlike the pattern blocks we've played with elsewhere these ones stick so he doesn't end up frustrated when he knocks his picture. He sometimes struggles getting the pattern cards in and out of the slot and I ended up sewing a drawstring bag for the pieces as the plastic container included doesn't have enough space for all of them but apart from that it's an excellent toy. My son loves inventing his own patterns and "improving" the pattern cards and I've also found a lot of mum/teaching blogs have extra free printables you can download that work with the set.

Bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas. This toy has provided hours of fun for my 4 year old and his 6 year old sister. It is lightweight, and comes in a handy carry pack making it an ideal travel toy. While my children do enjoy replicating the pictures provided, my son especially likes creating his own designs. I think this is a great toy giving kids an insight into the way different shapes fit together to make new ones. My only compliant is that it doesn't come any circle shapes so we found another cheap set that did and added them together to suit our needs. Great product.

My severely visually impaired elderly Mother loves this!She was an avid crafter all her life and not been able to craft due to increasingly loosing her eyesight has been extremely hard for her. She's really enjoying making her own freestyle patterns with the magetic shapes and photographing them on her tablet before making another.

It’s a great idea and my 3 year old enjoys it. As with other Melissa and Doug products though, the small details could be better- the plastic tray the shapes come in don’t quite fit them properly and as it doesn’t have a lid they spill everywhere. Would recommend though.

brought this for our grand daughters 3rd birthday,arrived in a few days well packaged.a wonderful item very good value and quality.our grand daughter loves it and plays and creates her own patterns for ages.would certainly reccomend for all ages

Bought for my friends 3 year old. She loves them and it's big enough that two children can work on a puzzle together. Going to buy for my puzzle loving two year old after he played with it for an hour or so too. Great!

My just turned two year old loves it already. Pics are of varying difficulty so will last her a while too. The plastic box to store the magnets is very flimsy and all the pieces don’t fit in at the same time ??♀️

Great learning tool. Magnetic so shapes stay in place whilst child makes their picture. Several pictures to choose from and all comes in a handy bag to prevent loosing pieces.

Looks great when arrives. My 3 year old didnt show much interest in it tho. I will put it up and take down again in a few months to see if it will hold her attention then.

Perfect for my son who's 3 with asd. He loves it and has kept him occupied on many occasions! Never been left dissatisfied with a product from melissa and doug!

We love it. My 22 months daughter enjoys to play with it on daily basis! We either work on the paterns or create our own! The magnetic board is super helpful!

Really lovely product, we've spent many an hour playing. My 3 year old adores it, the pre printed cards are brilliant and he'll happily spend hours playing.

I really like this board, the magnets make it easier to place the shapes on and prevents frustration in my toddler.

My son aged 3 loves his shapesand patterns and this is a daily favorite. I quite enjoy it too
