My little one loves magnets and spends ages playing with the magnets on her great-grandma's fridge every time we visit so I decided to buy her some of her own. This set is lovely - it's a well made wooden set with the magnet covering the whole of the back of each piece so no worries about small magnets falling off and being put into mouths. It has a good selection of different animals and my daughter has enjoyed naming them. They're a good size for her little hands to manage and have certainly had my money's worth out of them so far. Only slight issue is that the little wooden box that they come in doesn't have a lid on so might not be great to store them in - not an issue for us though as the magnets live on our freezer so we don't use the box for storage.

I bought these magnets to amuse our son whilst I'm in the kitchen i.e. to tempt him away from cupboards/drawers/oven/bins and I have to say they are lovely quality. The picture on the fronts though is stuck-on paper, but we've had them for around 2months now and nothing has begun to peel off yet although I do try to stop my son from biting them in the hope they will last longer. It is a shame that you can't put them back in the box for storage as the box they are packaged in doesn't have a lid which I feel would improve the product and give it another dimension as my son loves putting things into boxes and shutting them up and then tipping them out again.

Lovely magnets- great for keeping little ones entertained whilst in the kitchen. The animals on the magnets are lovely clear and bright. All of differing sizes showing the elephant to be big and turtle small for example. Could use on the fridge or on a magnetic white board. Bought for my 11 month old, I imagine she will play with them in different ways as she gets older. For example now she will just pull them off and stick them back on, but when she gets older she can use them to associate with the animal sounds, organise them, put them in size order, match colours, etc.

We just received the magnets and both me and my little boy really like them. They are very nicely made. Lots of them, nice bright colors, very realistic images so its easy for my little one to recognize his 'moos' and 'woaw woaws' ;D - he got very excited as soon as he discovered the dog magnet! They all went up straight on the fridge. Also there is a little wooden box they come in. Its a shame there is no cover so they can be stored when not in use - that's why only 4 stars. I love the old fashioned feel about them and Im sure my son will play with them for a long time.

The magnet stickers are made with attention to detail and good quality, the animals are perfectly imaged with bright and nice colours. They stick pretty good on our whiteboard, fridge and other ferromagnetic surfaces. The size of the stickers vary depending of the animal, form 3 cm for a fish up to 15 cm for a giraffe for example. The storage box has unlike the ABC and 123 set no proper lid for unknown reasons. Cannot tell much about durability as item has arrived only one week ago but I am sure the pieces will not resist bites for long.

My 2year old loves them,loves when we play "what animal...animal noises",and our 8 month old finds them fun,first thing he goes to nearly every morning,fridge to play with his magnets,will definitely be buying more from them,magnet covers full back of wooden animal which is perfect,we were worried about that as alot of others we've previously bought only had a small dot magnet,and the item out weighed the piece,so he was always disappointed when they slid down f/freezer and stay were he wanted to put them,SO WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND:)

These are well made wooden magnets. The upper case letters are a decent size and the lower case letters are in perfect proportion. These letters are easy for little fingers to manoeuvre and stick and unstick to the fridge or other magnetic surface. They arrived in an attractive box with a sliding lid - that can be reused - repurposed or in this case filled up with small treasures. I will be buying these again as they would be perfect for a gift for birthdays etc. Well made- attractively packaged - educational but not lacking in fun .

Having previously purchased other items in this range, I knew they would be perfect for my grandchildren's visits, however I WAS disappointed to find that, unlike the set of lower/upper case letters, the animal sets (I ordered both the farm and zoo animals), there is no slide-across perspex 'lid' for the lovely wooden box, meaning that storage needs to be in a different container (unless the pieces are to get lost in the toy box!) Frustrating (and disappointing) - but not a reflection on the actual item itself, which is brilliant.

Great selection of animal magnets. Not sure why it says that it's from 3 years up because the magnets are actually quite big. My 18-month-old daughter loves them, she recognises some of the animals already, and we're practising naming others. She loves putting the magnets on the fridge, rearranging them and then putting them under the fridge (which I hope is only a phase). They come in a neat wooden box, but with no lid, which is a shame. I think it's a great way to keep your little one occupied when you're in the kitchen.

These are really good and well-made, we've got them on the bottom of our fridge and our 21 month old daughter enjoys playing with them. Although she doesn't chew things they're quite robust so I would imagaine they could withstand a bit of chewing and being thrown around! They're also educational and when we ask her to identify certain animals she can. They're a good size too, some of the bigger animals (e.g giraffe) are on quite large magnets so they don't present a choking hazard. I would definitely recommend these.

Our 19 months old has a lot of fun with these magnetics - and as other reviewers have mentioned she might be a little young for them as most have been chewed but they are great for distracting whilst you get on with stuff in the kitchen. We don't bother putting them away as there's no lid for the box - they just live on the fridge. Each animal is against a bright background. They are not given in proportion to one another (there's a mighty big frog included) but otherwise there's plenty of entertainment to had.

Bought these for my 2.5 year old as he has shown an incredible interest in the alphabet and phonics. Only 1 of each letter in upper and lower case is included so I would say they’re better for a child learning stage 1 phonics and letter recognition. My son loves them and is amazed by the concept of upper and lower case. Really good for toddlers to play with on the fridge or radiator and the magnet is much safer than cheap plastic options as it’s the whole letter rather than a small tiny magnet. 5* from us.

I bought before other type of items from these sellers Meilssa & Doug.I must say they are great products, strong, & great quality workmanship.This is a must for any one who wants to step a little forward in helping their child.It is better than just a little magnet on plastic, as these are designed as a whole pieces which are actually stuckto the whole letter & easy to pick & put back many times.My suggestion excellent! My autistic son, who we bought three magnet packs and a white board LOVES these. So far, he has been unable to peel the pictures off, as they are considerably high quality for the price.We've been pointing and teaching him the names and noises, although he is non-verbal, he does enjoy having us point and tell him. There is a bigger variety than I expected, despite the number being correct, it just feels like there are more, perhaps it's because they are such a good size.

I brought these for my 23 month old daughter for a christmas present as she loves animals. She loves moving them from the fridge to the magnetic easel and back again. As she does this she names the animals that she knows. The pictures of the animals are clear and they are easy to handle for a toddler. They stick very well to the fridge and withstand being thrown around without causing damage. You also get a good range of animals in the pack so is worth the money.
