Great toy - taking one star off because a couple areas that lack the quality I expect in a wood toy: the crane is made of thin wood that is quite delicate, and the car wheels are flimsy also. The actual wood of the cars and trucks are great, and the toy has provided hours of fun play. Melissa and Doug is a brand that can’t quite seem to make a decision on the quality of their products - some aspects are solid and well-made, but they don’t follow through, and use crappy parts that seriously effect the quality of whole item.

It's the kind of quality that you would expect from Melissa and Doug.I honesty didn't think that it would hold their attention (2 and 4 yr old boys) but they actually played with it often. The ability to pick up the smaller cars with the magnets was a big hit. As well, I was a bit concerned about the magnets falling out, they are very securely in the toy, they are not going to fall out.

A sturdy, durable and attarctive toy for all the toddlers that love to play with vehicles. My toddler has used it over last couple of months almost everyday to rescue some or other vehicle that needs help in his imaginative play world. Picking and dropping cars helps in fine motor development. Highly satisfied with the quality and durability of the product.

My little guy is 21 months and obsessed with cars and trucks right now. He's had this toy for a couple weeks now, and has played with it everyday! Im new to Melissa and Doug toys, but after a few purchases recently, I can confidently say that they are the brand I will be sticking with!

Lovely truck , nice size, I put a pen beside it for comparison. Smooth finish, and nice colours ... Both my kids love it....

This was a big hit with our Grandson, it's easy to play with, no batteries! Just imagination, he loved it
