I bought this toy for my Son when he was 4 months old and he played with it continually until he was 3 years old. I bought many other toys, which he lost interest in, but never got bored or tired with this toy. It helped immensely with his speech development and enunciation. This toy comes with so many features, but the highlight for my son was the phonics facility, which is absolutely brilliant. The female voice is clear and discernible and with the aesthetics of the bus being so bright, stylish and colourful, it encourages the child to fully interact with it.It was such a productive, educational and feature-rich Toy that I bought another one which I gifted to a friend for his newly born son.

I bought this for my great nephew. My grand daughter had one like it bought for her around about 2002. A number of years later I was looking after my grandson on a daily basis and this bus was his favourite toy for at least 2 years. By the time he started nursery he was able to read and count and mostly to do with his interaction with this toy.I would have given the bus I bought 5 stars but I was disappointed to realise that it did not make the animal noises anymore. The original bus made a cat noise for 'c', a dog noise for 'd', a pig noise for 'p' an owl noise for 'o', etc. It did not have an animal noise for every letter,

I usually avoid buying toys that play music and sounds, but my little one loves buses and this seemed like it would have some educational benefit so I made an exception. I was so pleased I did as my 17 month old absolutely loves this bus! It’s good value for money too.The bus seems very sturdy, it’s been bashed around quite a bit by my toddler and still looks and works like new. The different modes for learning the alphabet and numbers, as well as music and quiz modes, mean there are lots of different ways to play with this bus, and I think it will continue to capture the interest of my little one for quite some time. Some of the features are a bit advanced at the moment but I can see these being useful in the future.

This bus is fantastic all of the different features on it, it is so educational and fun too with the songs I love that you can change the destination on it too and it actually tells you where you're going. It counts when you open and close the door how many children have got on and off the bus. Also with the letters the vowels are blue instead of yellow which I think is nice. Its a bit big but not in a bad way it has a carry handke too, and it has so many different things on it, numbers, phonics, music and more it'll keep my kid busy. The reason I got it is because it is a really good toy my son plays with the older version at his playgroup, it has a gold award and the price is amazing.

For reasons known only to himself, our lovely two-year-old grandson, Thomas, has something of a passion for "Bubble-decker buses" and, although this isn't technically a "double decker", it does look like one. The many sound effects, number and word games that are computer-delivered with decent clarity and volume seem like they will become fairly useful as a learning tool. It's already had a fair bit of use and, I think, as he gets older, it will be used even more.I've deducted a star since, well - I just wish a more recyclable form of plastic could be found and used for children's toys.

Bought this as a starting school present for my for year old and two year old to learn together. I'm not usually a fan of these kinds of musical toys, but vtech seems to have improved a lot. My main reason for being so pleased with this item is (aside from fast delivery and being as described) that the voice coming from it is very clear and easy to understand. We got given some older musical toys where an adult can barely make out the words, let alone a child. Not with this one. It's also great for multiple age groups, the 2 year old enjoys it just as much as the older one.

My little 9 months old loves this little red bus. She's not quite at the stage of phonics or learning her alphabets but with adult supervision she loves pressing all the buttons. She's learnt how to switch it on and off which is an accomplishment in its itself. This bus is brilliant and I can see her playing and learning with for many years to come. There's 4 different modes including learning numbers, letters, music and a challenge mode which I sometime spend time on. :) Its a very good investment for a child's development. Also there's a lot of tunes to sing along to.

I don’t generally buy many electronic toys but I wanted to get one that would be educational. This fun little bus is great, it teaches letters, numbers, fun songs and much more i.e stopping at the red light etc.It is very engaging. My baby is only one year old yet but finds it interesting already and so will naturally learn little by little as he plays.The toy is not only attractive for kids with its pretty colours but at the same time looks nice in your living room, not too overwhelming - always a plus!The accent of the little girl’s voice talking is British.

I brought this for my son who was only 1 year old at the time. He’s been playing with it practically everyday for the past six months. There’s so much educational and fun things to do like ABC’s even has the vowels in different colours above the letters there are your numbers that also act as a mini keyboard when in music mode. In quiz mode it asks things like ‘How many children get on the bus’ then you hear a serious of sounds. The quiz also extends to the letters too. All in all it’s a fantastic toy

Not only is this bus fun to drive around for imaginative play but has all the letters and numbers sounding out the correct name & phonetic sound with lots of games to like find the letter, fill in the missing letter from the word etc. There are also other games for the numbers and for smaller children there are some more basic buttons for driving fun, a horn, engine revs & the driver door you can open & shut making it lots of fun for children who are not quite ready to play the phonics games.

I am very impressed with this learning bus. It is a present for my Nephews first birthday. I am a teaching assistant and was looking for a toy that did pure phonic sounds the same as they teach in schools now. It is frustrating when you have to re teach sounds that have been learnt wrong but with this bus it is not a problem. The other features such as music and numbers are also very good and I think any child would learn a lot from playing with it. I would highly recommend buying this toy.

Bought for my daughter as part of her 1st birthday presents but she seems disinterested at the moment. I think within the next year she will start to find it more interesting as she learns and understands words and communication more.It has a variety of learning capabilities - from letters and numbers, to phonics and songs. It has great potential and covers a lot of the educational bases you look for in toys. I look forward to reintroducing it to her again in the next few months.

This Bus is worth every penny it's a VTECH very Education its excellent for learning and creative play.My Grandson Loves Playing the bus brings out his creative side and he is also learning the English alphabet and other activities too many to mention it has the added bonus of a carrying handle for him to take it to different parts of the room and he loves his big Red Bus keeps him busy playing with it I love the fact he is learning as well as playing highly Recommend !00%

My little boy loves this! He throws it everywhere and thankfully it still works! It has all different modes on and I love the phonics on the abc mode which I’m hoping will help bring on speech. Really good toy! This is a well thought out product and if I was the developer I’d be giving myself a pat on the back. Can see why it’s had such good reviews. If you are looking for a gift for I’d say 12 months + this is it. My little one is 16 months old and adores this.

My son had this toy ever since he was 6 months old and now he's 2years old. He enjoys this bus very much and makes him laugh still. Esp when he presses letter "n" for "nose" and does the sneezing sound. My boy loves anything with wheels, but what's the best thing about this product is that its suited for any age. Its been bashed, thrown and not damaged. Worth the money. Worth every penny. My son cam pronounce words and say words and numbers. Brilliant product!
