For the price there should be no complaints. You roughly get 90% of the features that come with sb900 for 1\3 the price. It feels every bit like the sb900 sturdy and well built. The only drawback is that this flash has limited high speed sync, anything past 1\320sec and the flash no longer is present in images. But if u want high speed sync go for the sb900 and spend £300+. The biggest thing going for this flash is ITT-L and commander mode for under £100.

Arrived today 28 may 2 days before ETA. After a quick play found flash unit works well out of box as master flash to a sb700 slave with my Nikon D5100 camera no problems at all and seems to use Nikon CLS effectively. This is and does what the label says Nikon compatible speedlite MK900 Flash unit although it does not come with either dome diffuser or red green blue flash gels, these are available through Amazon, this speedlite is good value for money.

It's a bargain, very well built and full of features. Did look at the Nikon equivalent but I took a gamble on this. Glad I did as it is a third off the price of the Nikon. A pro might turn his nose up at it but I'm no pro.Taken 100+ test shots and I am very impressed. With the money I have saved I have now ordered a extra battery pack, again a £25 bargain as apposed to the Nikon £200 version.

Feels solid, my friends are amazed they get away with having a design that so closely mirrors Nikons SB900. Seems to work okay in programme mode, but not in "idiot" mode (Auto) which I occasionally like to use when I am wanting to just completely concentrate on something and react quickly. That said, Programme mode is the better choice by far anyway.

While it's not a SB900, it is certainly a nice addition to the camera and quite inexpensive. For me, photography is about fun and so spending lots is not going to happen. This has opened up off camera TTL flash that's improved indoor shots no end greatly helped as a fill light for outdoor use too.

Flash arrived before expected time. Im new to flash photography so after having a play with it on my Nikon D5200 I took it to a friend who does wedding photography. He was very impressed and said its alot like his nikon flash he paid over 300 for. He is considering buying as a back up.

Seems to do everything the Nikon would do except recognise the optional Nikon gel filters, but not a problem as white balance can be adjusted manually within he camera. Good piece of kit, I'm going to get another one.

The flash arrived when I expected. I have only use it a couple of times but it seems great. The diffuser works well and I have had no problems with the flash covering the area of my photograph. Very pleased

Very good feel, good weight and all the functions you would expect from an sb900. A good quality product with an unbelievably low price

Not used much yet but when tested it works very well, The extra pull-out white card and 'diffuser' will be useful.
