Excellent service from this supplier. Product looks good, well made, well packaged - though I have yet to try it out in the studio over a period of time. To be honest, at this price one could hardly go wrong. The product appears well made (not very different from my Canon units which cost ten times as much). The only criticism, as with all of these direct import sales is that the quality of the instructions supplied is poor, both in language and content. If only the Chinese would learn that 'cheap' is not the whole story: I'd happily pay ten per cent more to get better support information which would make the product even more valuable. I have other products from the same stable and the comments apply equally there too: fantastic value, great service, perfect operation, poorly documented. Is there a Chinese equivalent to "don't spoil the ship for an ha'porth of tar"? - I'd have to guess not!

I'm a PR and event photographer and use my flash on manual pretty much all the time so these guns are ideal. I've only used them on a couple of jobs but really impressed so far. Overall they seem well constructed. Only doubtful area I can find is the door to the battery compartment which feels a bit flimsy so will go gently with that. It's only a small thing but I really like the fact that they retain the setting they were on before when you switch them back on - I've used guns before that don't seem able to do this. Highly recommended and ridiculously cheap for what they offer.

I am a professional photographer and I shoot a lot of my portraits on location. When I do it is not always possible to use studio strobes, so I often use speedlights. I shoot Canon 5D III and used to use a variety of canon flashes, but now am so glad I switched. These do a great job for a fraction of the price of canon. I use them with the Yongnuo YN560-TX Wireless Flash Controller which is also brilliant, giving great control of the power without having to fiddle with the lights. I use them pretty heavily and they haven't let me down yet. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have had this for a year now and it is going along well. As clearly stated it is not ETTL it is a manual speedlight. Having to use a manual flash has made me learn how to use manual mode as opposed to Aperture Priority. Back in the film days it would have been an expensive way to learn but with digital its effectively free. It really is a lot like the Canon model and works well for me. My only gripe is that I have forgotten to switch the camera back to AP after finishing with the flash. This gets a strong recommendation from me.

For the price you will not get a better flash. i have been trying to save for the canon 580 mk iii for a couple of years and can never justify spending the £350 (ish) on it. This one though at £50 is a no brainer, ok so you dont have ETTL with this but with a bit of practice you dont need it.If you are looking for a second or third flash do not hesitate these work like a dream and as for the wireless and slave settings well, as i say, just totally amazed at how good this flash is.

This is my third YoungNUO flash and like the previous once this is just as robust and easy to use. Well made and does what it should. I added this to my current two so I could get a bit more creative lighting. All in all unless you are not looking for all proprietary functions of a Canon or Nikon flash this will be a great buy. Wireless triggering works great and with the YoungNUO YN560-TX flash controller I can operate all my flashes from the camera.

Great value considering how expensive camera manufacturer flash guns cost. I have 2 of these that I use in conjunction with 3 of the YN-560IVs and the TX controller unit. Fantastic system for my home studio. I'd thoroughly recommend. You can by all of this kit for less than the cost of many of the flashguns from the camera manufacturers.

This a cheap alternative to the more expensive brand name speedlite flashes. It is easy to use and powerful to use in manual but it lacks a ETTL (auto) mode. The instructions are mostly in Chinese but there is an English translation that makes sense. A bargain for professionals and enthusiastic amateurs.

Excellent price and great performance in the studio and outdoors. The wireless triggers are easy to use. Recycling time for the flash is totally acceptable. I don't think the units perform at all badly compared to expensive flashguns.

Great flash. Good size, easy to use and understand functions. Information booklet limited but contains everything you need. Works well. Highly recommended!!

For the price can't knock it, all functions seem to work well, itdoesn't feel quite as robust as its Canon counterpart but that why its over £300 cheeper

This is my second Yongnuo speedlight flash and very satisfied. Both flashes used as slaves in sync and set manually.
