Astonishingly capable flashgun with excellent remote control functions. Powerful output, easily controlled in manual mode. It doesn't support high-speed ETTL operation but that's not an issue for me, I can work without it.The flashgun comes with a small but robust plastic mount allowing it to be placed remotely.Well featured, great large display that lights up in easy to read amber rather than the eye-buggering red of most of it's peers.Compatible with the two RF remote controllers that I have as well as having optical S1 / S2 triggering.The programmable strobe is an interesting feature, easy to use but I suspect of limited use.All in all,

I chose this since Fuji's TTL one is quite.. unapproachable (x20 the price!!). Thus, I use this on manual mode, triggered using kit flash, or a RF605. It works fine: flash photography is still new to me, but there is a clear difference in the photos, especially portraits.The only flaw I can find is the reflective panel, which is a bit hard to pull out without sufficiently long & strong nails :DI have two of these and sometimes I like triggering them at once just to create more dramatic images, using the methods & devices mentioned above.

things have certainly moved on since I worked with my old Vivitar 283s in the 80s. These are great. Powerful and easy to use, they are quite the best thing for easy lightweight flash for manual lighting.hard to find anything to criticise. About the only thing I could say is that the screen is not always easy to read and when lit, you have to look at it from a certain angle to be able to read it.Other than that, I would certainly buy again......in fact it is quite likely I will

Very powerful flash - if you want to shoot at night with the lens wide open you will probably need ND even at the lowest power for close portraits! It reliably syncs to about 1/400th. Very useful in the daylight too for fill in.Flexible bounce options (up down and rotate) and useful built in diffuser.Can't complain for the price.

The speedlight is excellent, programs work as expected. Only drawback that mechanically I still couldn't manage to use the reflector card and diffusor because they are strongly stuck in the support. I'm afraid of applying huge force to pull them out. I hope I can figure out how to move them without damaging the equipment.

Don't let the prize fool you, this is an excellent speedlight! It has a reasonably good quality feel to it and the features are amazing for the prize. Very good choice for a first flash, accompany this with yongnuo radio transmitter (only one needed!) and you are ready to do both on and off camera flash photography.

the diffuser is difficult to pull out (I have to use my teeth) and the batteries get really hot almost immediately. Other than that it's an excellent product!

Arrived quickly and well packed. Tried it immediatelly and as an amateur I am happy. Quick flash that has more than enough power at the moment. Easy to use.

Reliable piece of kit at a realistic price, somebody suggested its built like a tankI would remind that person that tanks are not made of plastic!

If you want a good, high quality flash for your DSLR but don't want to spend flip ton of money on it, buy Yongnuo, it saved me many times. A+++++

This was a very big surprise! Does the job just as a Nikon or Canon Flash and cost way less. Very happy with the purchase.
