Super flash for my application........... general shots using canon G1 camera. Significant improvment on the cameras inbuilt flash both in regard to power and for bounce flash tasks. facility to rotate head horizontal as well as vertical would have been welcome however very accurate TTL metering, well built and likely be valued addition to my 'kitbag' for a long time. Highly reccomended.

I developed a particular gadget with another type/make of flasher but it did not work. But using this Metz 36 it worked well. However after a around 8 months of use of this Metz 36 it started working less till stop working all together. However for normal camera use i expect it would last for years.

This is a great item which works well with the camera I purchased, I an no expert on the use of camera and found this easy to use and get great results, would recommend to anyone with a limited amount of knowledge of photography

Bought for a friend with a Lumix camera.It is a basic flash but just what was required for the camera owner. It is well made and well finished.The operation is straight forward with no unnessesary controls.

Perfectly complements the Lumix G5 wth dedicated functioning. Fitting an additional extension bar and separate lead to the camera enables the flash to not only point up but sideways to bounce off walls etc.

Lives up Metz quality, works well and gives great light for all kinds of photographic work Great in auto and Manual modes, and the multi angle head make for stunning portrait images.Would recommend.

I only tried this out last Saturday at the comic convention, value for money, especially that the ones for my make of camera only are fixed head not swivel, well done Metz !!!

This is a modestly priced unit with great performance. It has a reasonably high guide number, adjusts for wide and telephoto lens settings and incorporates TTL.

very good product,does not do what the camera producers flash gun (Canon)is supposed to do,but does what I bought it for. At a very good price. Value for money.

good starter flashgun . could do with better instructions though. handy free diffuser included.No reason NOT to recommend to others.

Very powerful flash, easy to setup and use and a lot cheaper than the big brand versions of the flash
