I'm always looking for new brow products as I have very little brows, but when it came to choosing my Shad it was unavailable.But I was not going to let that stop me,I have seen many video's of girls using a lighter shade to make brows look more natural so i opted in and I'm so happy I did.All tho the shade I got was blond it was still dark enough to use on my brows and to be honest I thought it looked much more natural then the one I have all ready that's darker.The mechanical pencil has a twist bottom and one of a kind teardrop-shaped applicator and features a fluffy eyebrow spoolie brush to softly blend away harsh lines.I found it easy to use even tho this was my first time using a browpencil I usually opt for a powder brow product as this is what I'm use to,I didn't have any problems with clumping the product was easy to build up and blended well.After applying my brow make up I applied my conceal around my brows I had no problems at all with any build up of product and I was very happy with the results.For practicality would give this product five stars Im mean come on it's pretty darn practical to use and you only need the one product to apply your brows so no hunting for that darn brush any more.For last-ability I give five stars, and all tho in the water test it did not budge when wet, it did smudg when rubbed after wetting but then this product dose not clame to be waterproof but dose resist waters and that's why I still give this product 5 stars.And Blend-ability five stars as this product blends beautifully without clumping or becoming Waxy looking and all the wile looking on fleek and natural.So over all by the end of a long day my brows still looked amazing and flawless.For first time users of brow products I would say this is definitely one you would want to try and maybe like me go for the lighter shade and blend in a little of a darker shade if needed remember blend,blend,blend is key. I was a little apprehensive about how the Total Definition brow definer would perform in regards to shape and level of definition and density at first and especially once I saw the shape of the pencil! My initial thoughts were "oh this will take some getting used to.." However, after the first couple of goes it was pretty easy to get the feel of the best way to use it. I found that drawing my shape with the pointed bit was best for me to get that clean defined shape I was after and then filling my brow in with the more flat angled area gave me a natural but even density. And then even more so once I used the brush to blend the line and brow together. What I will say is it wears well - hours after applying my brows hasn't moved,smudged or ran which is exactly what I want from a brow product! The little brush that's attached is also handy as it makes it great for use on the go rather than having to carry additional brushes around if you're wanting to touch up your look for a day to night occasion! The pigmentation of this pencil is true to what it is described as; dark brown was exactly what it was and as a dark brunette it complimented my natural colour in my opinion. I would definitely say I can see myself using this product to achieve my everyday, more natural look but I think if I wanted to get a more bold look - for example when going on a night out - I probably wouldn't use a pencil. My daily make up routine is quick. I like to wear make up everyday but I also like to get it on my face & I’m looking perfect in 5minutes (I try).I usually use a brush on powder & a stencil for my eyebrows so this product was completely new to me.Looking at the product I guess it’s self explanatory - I colour in using the crayon end & brush through with the other. However, if you’re a novice at eyebrows a bit of direction on the product wouldn’t go amiss. I even found myself just checking the website for direction to check I was using the crayon in the recommended motion.So on my first attempt I went a bit overboard for me personally - I like a natural fuller looking eyebrow rather than the strategically shaped kind.However, it was good to know if I wanted this look I could achieve it.On my second attempt I was a bit lighter handed. The crayon goes on easily & you can see the impact of colour straight away. I applied as I desired, then brushed through. The brush is great. It blends quickly & gives the appearance of a fuller, more natural looking eyebrow. The only thing I miss from my usual routine is having the highlighter. Although if this can be purchased separately it wouldn’t be much of an issue.Overall, I liked the product. Maybelline total temptation eyebrow pencil.5g............What you get is a duel ended “pen” with a 1cm brush on one end and a retractable ( 2.5cm when fully extended) kite shaped crayon on the other.Colour.....There are three shades to choose from, medium brown, dark brown and blonde so you stand a good chance of getting the right one for your eyebrows. I have the medium brown shade which is good for my pale-ish skin and blue eyes complexion.Use.....The crayon/ pencil was quite scratchy to get a line from, not smooth and creamy like I was expecting...the upside of this is that it is good for small definition strokes, drawing in individual hairs with a point.The brush end was soft,softer than a mascara brush but it did take quite a bit of pressure to get the crayon marks to smudge.Look.......I managed to avoid the “block brows”look whilst still filling in the gappy parts of my brows, I erred on the side of caution and practiced the less is more mindset to achieve this.I didn’t experience any smudging when it was on my brows, even when it reached skin temperature, but this is winter...summer with its warmer temperatures and facial “glow” may not fair so well.All in all a good product.

This is my favourite combination for eyebrow defining; a 'mechanical pencil’ & a ‘styling brush’ incorporated into one container.✤ MAYBELLINE NEW YORK✤ TOTAL TEMPTATION™/MC✤ BROW DEFINER~ 0.15 g~ COLOUR : DEEP BROWN‘Made in China’Measuring around 12.5 cm in length (with both caps in situ), the round barrel of the plastic-type container is around 1 cm in diameter and is in a PALE PEACH colour that easily stands out in a busy makeup bag.The coloured band mid way indicates the colour shade, in this case 'DEEP BROWN'.On arrival, the item has a full-length seal that is easy to open via the tear strip, in my experience.On one side under a transparent, rigid, plastic-type lid is a dinky little,spiral-effect ‘styling brush’ that is around 0.75 cm in length. The brush is quite a firm texture, to me, but I like it.The coloured lid on the other side needs a pull to remove, then simply twist the barrel a little to reveal the ‘teardrop-shaped pencil’ stick that is around 2.5 cm overall in length when fully extended and should last a while (2nd to last image refers).Both lids click audibly back into place.I am comparing this directly to my current

I absolutely loved this product! I've always had slightly thinner brows due to overplucking when I was younger, and have been looking for a product to fill them out while keeping them natural and I've finally found it. The product itself is really easy to use. The spoolie brush is really good for defining your natural brow arch and for blending the product, but what I loved most about this product is the diamond shaped applicator for the actual product. The shape of the actual pencil means that you're able to get straight and precise lines to define the outer sides of your brows and also to fill in the inner corners, and it's easy to fill in the tail of your eyebrow to get that defined look.The other great thing about this product, is that the pencil draws on lightly so you can build up to the darkness that you want. I loved being able to build up on the inner brow and fade out to the tail, and the spoolie helps you to spread the product evenly so you get a great finish. I usually like Maybelline products and this is no exception. Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow Pencil 100 Blonde.This pen style applicator is of a standard length and consists of two separate products in one. A 'wind up and wind down' eyebrow pencil one end and an eyebrow brush the other end. Both ends have a lid … one beige and the other clear plastic.The colour of the crayon is quite a dark blonde and the texture is not too soft yet it applies easily and evenly. The brush is a small spiral mascara type wand which you use to comb through your eyebrows before and after applying the crayon.The crayon produces a good colour which suits my daughter in law's dark blonde hair and eyebrows perfectly.It covers well without looking too obvious and the brush tidied up her slightly scruffy brows nicely.I am fifty seven years of age and do not have the inclination to style my eyebrows apart from the odd tweezering of a stray hair or two. However I am sure this eyebrow pencil and brush would be just the thing for the modern eyebrow styling phenomenon which is sweeping the nation amongst teenagers.

I usually go for medium brown eyebrow pencils but since I have blonde hair I thought I would try the blonde Total Temptation Brow Definer to see if it suited me in that colour. Before I opened this product I wasn't sure what to expect as I didn't know if it would be a pencil, gel, or other kind of applicator. Upon opening the lid it is a soft tear drop shaped crayon which did look a bit strange at first as I have never tried a brow crayon in this shape before, however the shape is what made the product so unique and great at applying. When using the product I firstly drew around the outline of my eyebrows using the pointy tip of the crayon to define my eyebrow shape.I then filled in my eyebrows using the flat end of the crayon which worked wonderfully. The colour wasn't as blonde as I expected, probably more of a light brown, but I liked that. Overall I would give the Blonde Total Temptation Brow Definer 5 stars as I really liked it but think the pigmentation could be better so that I don't have to press on so hard whilst applying. Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow pencil is a good product for those people who like me like to keep their eyebrows more defined and with the added bonus of the brush means they are easily tidied without the need for another utensil.The actual pencil works well as I was able to build the colour up to my own personal choice. The pencil is long and thin but what makes this eyebrow special is the fact the eyebrow pencil has a teardrop shape which enabled me to apply my brows in a nice neat and very natural way. The brush on the end is soft and with it being shaped like a mascara wand it means I was able to softly blend in my eyebrows.I do like everything I need is enclosed in a small thin packagewhich is so easy to store in my cosmetic bag or even my handbag.Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow Pencil is a great way of keeping eyebrows neat and tidy and with the added bonus of being an easy way to fill in the sparseness of my eyebrows due to illness etc.Happy to recommend.

I like this brow pencil. It is waxier than I thought it was would be but I like that because it’s soft and easier to control how much product you apple. It’s a nice colour although I’ve gone darker with my hair recently so maybe I would try a darker one next time but I would definitely buy this again. The spoolie is great, it’s super portable because it’s double ended spoolie on one side and the product on the other. Only downside is because it’s waxy it will move about unless you set it with a brow gel. It also can go a bit patchy so you do have to take your time a bit with it to get it how you like. But that’s how most affordable products are. That’s why I gave it 4 stars.I like to take my time with my eyebrows anyway to get the shape right but if you’ve got great brows this would be great as a quick fill in. I’ve been using it instead of my nyx brow gel. The nib is great as it’s slanted so you can be precise with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
