I got this after already trying the more expensive Wunderbrow kit, which I found time consuming and fiddly to apply; and also the new Unbelievabrow by L'Oreal, which I liked but found difficult to control due to being so highly pigmented and runny. The Maybelline Tattoo Brow is really the perfect happy medium for me. It's pigmented but the colour looks soft, part of this is due to the sponge applicator (a bit like a lipgloss or eyeshadow applicator) and the other thing is it's not too liquidy so you have lots of control over how much product is applied on the brow. I love this gel. Love it! I have very thin eyebrows and haven't got into the whole eyebrow filling and shaping thing on a serious level yet, although my poor eyebrows would thank me for it. I do have an eyebrow gel pot which you apply with a brush, but the brush stiffens up and the material dries out, it is nothing compared to this.Pros:- So easy to apply. It advises to start in the middle and do the end first, and outline the brows first with the pointed bit of the applicator. You then fill in the rest of the brow and use the little mascara-like brush that comes with it to brush the gel out and make it more natural- Feels really nice. My eyebrows just felt like they were held in place,

I read the mixed reviews about this item and wanted to check it out for myself...and am I glad I did!! It’s just perfect!!I used to fill in my sparse eyebrows with normal eyebrow pencil, but especially in the heat of summer, it sometimes used to run or fade. This tattoo gel from Maybelline doesn’t run at all, is still practically in place after 3 days, if not more, and looks quite natural if applied properly. The first time I tried it, I went to a Zumba class 2 days after application. It stayed fully in place, even though I sweat quite a lot (and I was constantly wiping my face with a towel) and afterwards, I had a full shower, hair and all, and my eyebrows still looked great.

Age has not been kind to my eyebrows. They went raggedy all of a sudden, and they won't come back properly as new hairs tend to be wiry and grey. Depressing! Having experimented with at least 20 different brow products, I settled on filling in with a cream-to-powder eyeshadow, then using mascara to colour & boost the hairs.This Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel performs both tasks pretty well. It's a gunky, fibrous gel that comes with a sponge applicator stick and a little spoolie brush. Goodness knows why anyone thought it a good idea to use brushes designed to curl eyelashes on brows, which are supposed to lie flat! Still, it's the tool supplied with the product so I used it after applying colour with the sponge stick,

This isnt the eaisest stuff to use, i do like it but it really needs a different application method. I just cant get the finish i like from the applicator (see before and after brows in pics), and certainly nowhere near the sharp lined perfection of the advert!This stuff really does last. I tried it on my hand first and it lasted til well into the next day, soap had no effect on it, nor did the nailbrush, i was actually quite impressed by that!On my eyebrows this stuff feels like ive brushed glue on them, it feels like its pulling a bit and it does feel sticky on.To apply this you use the applicator, which looks like a lipgloss applicator so no hope of fine crisp lines.

Throughout my 40's my eyebrows have got thinner as well as starting to turn grey. Initially I was not bothered as they still looked okay but lately I have started to try colour them in as they were a little patchy.Eyeshadow is okay but this product is amazing. Initially I was concerned about the colour being too dark for me but its perfect. The product is in a tube. The applicator is the perfect size for getting just the right amount. There is a mascara type applicator too but I didn't need to use this. There were good instructions, just very small so hard to see without reading glasses but my daughter read them out for me!Application was easy and I was so pleased at how natural it looked.

I love the fact that this product is easy to use and if you make a mistake or make it too heavy looking you can correct it easily. With a small amount of practise i found it easy to make it light or darker. The colour was perfect for my medium brown hair too. I used it as if it was a temporary brow tint. If done right it can look so natural, yet making my really thin brows look more prominent.I did, however, wipe my face on the day i applied it and it pretty much all came off. Didn't stain my towel in any way though. I did just reapply easily. I would say it lasts for about a day and a half, if you don't wash your face lol.

So I've tried many different eyebrow products so I was happy to test this one.First of all, the colour is perfect and blends beautifully.(I have ash blonde eyebrows)The spool makes it very easy to blend in all the brows from the centre but I would recommend an eyebrow brush to get some angles and defined lines as with this spool I struggled to get that look but I managed to get the front line that's usually blended really nicely done.On the pictures I've only done one eyebrow so you can see the difference.After a couple if hours i tested the smudge factor, a little come off on my finger but not off the actual eyebrow! Which is Fab!

As per usual with brow products, they are darker than they look, so make sure to get the right colour for you.It is easy to apply. There is an enclosed spoolie applicator, however, it might be easier to use an angled applicator instead, but that's down to personal preference. It takes a bit to dry, so there can be some initial stickiness, but otherwise it's fine.It's opaque and there is a good amount of product which ensures it will last a while making it good value for money.The brows do look more defined and filled in afterwards. It is a nice natural colouring and not something highly dramatic, although you might be able to build up for that.It's meant to be waterproof and it stayed on well even with some water splashing/touching it while wet and in hot weather,

Now, before I go on, a make up artist I am not but when I saw this to test I thought I'd give it a go because my eyebrows just don't look as if they're there any more (see the first picture) and I would prefer to look as if I have some. I don't want to look as, quite frankly, daft as some people with painted on eyebrows look though. The pictures are after my first attempt with this item and I don't think it's bad at all. I've just touched the grey hairs with the brush and, while it's far from how it could be after a few more attempts, I don't think I've done too badly. It's easier to do with this than with mascara as it's a better brush for this job.

Described as medium brown, this was very dark brown on application and made my brows look artificial. Having said that, and although my first attempts were disastrous, with practice I managed to achieve a fairly attractive result. You need to be sparing in application and brush it like mascara on lashes. The small brush included in the box is needed to separate and remove clumps of the product but that does result in a more natural appearance albeit you need to be careful not to over apply. Once dry, the product does last all day and needs to be removed with make up remover. One tip I would give is to ensure you have cotton buds to hand as it’s very easy to go over the brow line and careful

I have Sparse-uneven and relatively short brows. Tried several make, but most of them failed to stay put. Found Maybelline Tattoo waterproof gel and I received this product free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review from amazon vine. I pick deep brown to match my skin tone dark brown hair. I applied this product to my brows with this short brush. I was very pleased with the result, It lasted all day and didn't rub off until I use an oil-base eye make up remover. As for the tip of the brow I had to use an angled brush instead of using the wand it comes with. (tips) for more natural look, brush off the excess gel off the wand before applying to the brows else will transfer too much and too think.

Mabelline Brow TatooWow! Definitely the best Brow product iv ever used!! Very Simply to use and easy instructions to follow..This product is perfect for every1!!!I personally don’t want a really Thick Dark looking brow, I prefer a simple light natural looking brow... But I still need shape too!! On my left brow I have a gap and on my Right it thins at the end... This product is brilliant for all of the above!!The brush helps you control exactly how thin/ thick you desire! I completely managed it in minutes 2 matching Brows!Did it Last 2days... Not quite.. the side I lay on was not perfect, but I think that’s because of how lightly I put it on! I was just happy it got me thru the day and night unlike most products!!

This gives a strong on-trend look of ultra-defined brows. It works best, I think, for full brows as the lip-gloss style sponge applicator isn't for fine work. The texture is good, not too runny or thick - apply with the sponge applicator then brush through with the included spoolie. The product doesn't dry immediately so you can tidy up a bit with a cotton bud.It's best to apply this with a light hand as it does give a tattoo-alike look. It lasts well despite me being caught in a downpour and there's no smudging. It comes off easily with oily make-up remover though you could probably leave it on overnight - it doesn't seem to smudge onto pillows.It takes a bit longer to apply than pencil,

It doesn't convince me because the result is just sparkling stuff in the sun and sticky.Then you have to stay and brush and space them well ... otherwise you notice too much on the eyebrows ... The blond color is darker than I expected. It has a long lasting! but it is good only for those with very few and very fine eyebrows. I have thick eyebrows with some emptiness to fill. I prefer the natural effect that tattoos unfortunately don't have. Not good instructions on the box...I'm back to update the product : I tried on my mom fine eyebrows and is good. I also apply less product by cleaning the end of the brush. So I add 4 stars. Is a good product but not for every one.
