I feel obligated to leaving a review on this product, as it is one of my must-have makeup products! I first discovered this back in the summer, when I was looking to define my eyebrows more, & had tried several eyebrow products & hadnt liked any of them, & some of which I just really did not get on with. But this is by far THE most important product in my eyebrow defining kit! It unscrew & has a small brush applicator, which I always use for applying this. The liquid itself is quite gloopy in consistency, but still liquid enough that it's easy to apply & spread to your preferred brow shape, & this consistency I find even more so helps to create that desired shape. I always apply to clean,product free brows, just before I'm going to bed. It takes about 6-7 mins to dry, but you can actually feel it as wet when you apply it, which that wet feeling disappears as soon as its dry, - & it doesnt take long to dry. Then I leave it on overnight, - sometimes when I disturb in early hours, around 4/5am, I'll remove it then & then reapply & leave on for another few hours until I get up properly later that morn, - I always find that 2 applications are best for well defined brows. It's easy to remove, as it dries to a rubbery consistency, & so can just be easily peeled off. Most times it's easy to peel off in one piece, as long as you apply a thick enough application (decent amount, not overly thick), & by starting at the inner brow, peeling carefully outwards along the brow, however, sometimes, partic if you want reasonably thin brows, or if you dont use as thick an application when applying, it can peel off in a few bits, but even then I dont find it difficult to remove at all. As its rubbery & has that elasticity when you pull against its layer, it's easy to get a grip of & just easily peels off. So yep, I would highly recommend this brow gel, & I will deffo continue to use myself. I find once I've had the 2 initial applications of this, I only need to reapply once or twice during the week to keep my brows looking full & on point, so although this is a small quantity, & doesnt look a lot for its price, it does last quite a while (about 3-4 weeks I'd say), but I think this product is very worth the investment. Also, if you are planning to purchase this product, it's cheaper to purchase here on Amazon, at £9, instead of £12, which is the price of this to buy on the high street. It's on Amazon prime too, so comes on next day delivery, so I feel its deffo worth purchasing this from Amazon as opposed to the high street, as its delivered to your door too, & it's only a saving of £3 in price comparison, - but to me, £3 per purchase of this adds up to a lot!!!-So is deffo worth the saving!!!

I had a whole lotta fun using this. It looked so easy on the box, paint on, leave peel off, ta dah! I tipped the tube out of the box and ploughed forward into unknown territory.On first glance the tube looks like thick eyeliner when you open it. I thought i best read the instructions, means as how im stuck with the results for 3 days!Ah, the instructions..... now i'll admit to being in my late 40's but even so i think everyone would need a magnifying glass to read the instructions on this packet! I photographed the instructions and then zoomed into the picture, a thing which im having to do all the more now but this is really beyond the pale!!Upon zooming into the instructions i can see it says,1.paint it on your brows in the style you want your brows to be2. leave to dry, minimum 20 mins up to 2 hours (for maximum lasting effect)3. peel paint offRightyho. Got the mirror, light and tube ready and painted. The stuff is thick, it like painting thick black glue onto your brows. So i painted plenty on (see pictures) and sat for 2 hours hoping and praying no one came to the door because there was no way i was answering it looking like this.After two hours i tried to peel off the dye, hoping it was like the white glue i used to use at school (who else used to get it all over their hands on purpose so they could peel it off?!) This is not as much fun as schhol glue to peel off!I did manage to get the stuff off, absolutely not like the advert where the model just peels a long strip of eyebrow shaped glue off, i got a sad stringy pile of gluey crumbs that took a few pickings to get all the bits off but it does come off.When its all off you are left with lovely dark perfect eyebrows (well as perfect as you drew them on anyway!). Im impressed! They dont smudge if you rub your eyebrows (unlike the normal stuff i use).I can highily recommend this stuff if you cant be bothered with looking after your make up all the time. It does take a bit of doing and you do have to sit around for 2 hours looking like a pillock but if you can apply it well you get a fab result. The colour says black/brown but id say its properly black, im a goth and i detect no hint of brown (i detest brown brows so this makes me happy!)

Maybelline Tattoo Brow Long Lasting Tint made by L’Oréal is one very good product when used properly therefore for me to get the correct "look" I had to get a bit of a helping hand as the first time I tried it on myself I can honestly say you would have sworn a spider had walked through paint then did a bit of a Samba across my eyebrows! And I say that with all seriousness?.When I got a helping hand from a friend she applied it properly, (she had already tried this product) and I have to say I did like the effect which was a temporary one but still a nice one. When she applied the product over my eyebrows taking care to make sure even the smallest of hairs had product on them,we left it on for a period of three hours as my friend advised if I peeled it off too quickly it would not have dried out properly when then meant it was not ready to be removed which would mean I would have lost a few of my eyebrow hairs which would totally spoil the look.I did as instruct and when the product was dry I simply peeled it off and my eyebrows did look fuller and more pronounced which I did like.I liked the easiness of the product, though I did need help the first couple of times which allowed me to build up my self-confidence for using the tint.I liked the fact it did last a couple of days though I did take care at not rubbing the area around my brows either with my face-cloth or even using my cleanser (I double cleanse) as this would have reduced the length of time the product stayed on my brows.Why I like this product is that it is handy to do at home, if you have a few hours that you know you will not be leaving the house or you know you will not have someone calling you did not want to see you with tint on your brows. As if you are like me I like to keep my beauty regimes under lock and key. I found it did not provide the professional look my beautician can usually create but still I did like the look of the heavier brow once I learned to do it correctly.Maybelline Tattoo Brow Long Lasting Tint made by L’Oréal is a good product when used properly i.e. according to makers instructions.Happy to recommend.

This product is the perfect must have essential for a busy mummy or anyone on the go that needs a quick fix instead of spending twenty mintues drawing on there eyebrows with so many different products everyday.First impressions was the packaging was really small so could mean a small product?, I loved design of the packaging was simple and sleek. The only downside to the packaging was how small and basic the instructions are, I feel a small leaflet inside would be so much more effective. There wasn't any clear instructions on how to prep your eyebrows or after care on the box which I feel is needed. The size of the product I was surprised at, it's decieving there is so much product and as you only need a small amount it will last ages!Then I opened the product and I thought to myself WOW that's really thick and dark?! I was nervous to apply the product butbraved it and applied anyway. It was so quick and easy to apply and easy enough to manage the shape however I feel maybe a few basic stencil shapes would help those who aren't experienced at drawing their own eyebrows on. I left it on for the stated time of twenty mintues as was still nevorous about how dark the product was and didn't want to leave on any longer. I peeled it off which was so straight forward, didn't leave any residue which I thought it might. Amazingly the product was a lot lighter than when applied. I'm amazed! It like I've just walked out of a salon.Following on it lasted a good two/three days till it started fading however I feel when the colour started to fade it started to have a green/grey tinge to it. Which I'm disappointed at.Overall i feel there could be a few improvements but I thought the product is an amazing product to have for those on the go or like me a busy mummy that doesn't have much time. It quick, easy and effective. I would defently recommend this product. I have already passed the product on to my sister a who is so fussy with her eyebrows and spends ages every morning, hoping to change her mind to Tattoobrow. Finally!! A dark one!So I'll start with the honest/bad points.If you're needing this to last 3 days or even past a shower with a face wash dont buy it.I've been using this product for about 18 months now and it's never fully lasted beyond washing.If you're using it to "fill" eyebrows you already have then it may be ok for 2 days but dont expect miracles.I over plucked my eyebrows when a was a teenager and they have never grown back so I use this as my eyebrows, for that reason I'd love it if it stained the skin for the 3 days it claims to.Good points (well for me anyway)Once you get the hang of it its fast to put on and it only has to be on for 20 mins to get some pigment.I use it every morningand whip them off just before I leave the house so it's been on a good hour.It's such a nice feeling to know you can rub your face, have a scratch and go swimming without rubbing eyebrow pencil everywhere.It's a God send if you're like me, have no eyebrows and go on holiday. Heat, suncream, swimming is an absolute nightmare and constantly having to tell your kids "mind my eyebrows!"This goes on every holiday with me and saves me looking like a freak sat round the pool.This colour is new to the range and it's a far better match for me than the original brunette brown and I'm glad they listened to those of us that asked for a darker colour.All in all I'd recommend this as part of your make up bag just dont expect 3 days of stress free eyebrows

When I opened the product and seen the brush that you apply with I was a bit sceptical how I would manage to achieve a good brow shape. The brush was a little thick for me to get a good shape - although I gave it my best shot.When applying I did not have any tingling or sign of a reaction, I can have sensitive skin so this was a good sign I would be able to use this product again.I wasn't overall happy with the shape of the brow once I finished applying - but i managed to get a better shape than I have naturally so that was a bonus I supposeI left the product on for 40 minutes as it was my first time and I wanted to be sure I was happy with the result before leaving it stuck like that for days....Anyway I peeled it off!It came off really easy - no pain or redness noted. I was suprised how natural it looked as the tattoo it's self was literally black when going on. I gave it a rub and it was tinted to my face so no budging! I'm not sure how long it will last. I touch my face a lot so I think this is ideal for me as I always end up rubbing any makeup off. I quite like it and it's easy to use and not have to worry about smudging any brow liner.The only thing I would have liked better is a more precise brush as the technique was pretty poor and the shape isn't perfect. Perhaps a sturdier or thinner brush would be better as it was a bit sloppy.Convenience wise it's definitely a good buy!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am actually really surprised by this product. I am pretty picky about my eyebrows and how they look and spend ages trying to colour them with powder to make them look fuller. When it first arrived, I was a bit unsure with what to do, and almost put off using it as I didn't want it to go wrong. The writing on the side is very very small which is actually quite hard to read. It's also very simple, which when first looking at the box, thought it would be very complicated and cause dye to go all over my face. I never would have brought this if I saw it in a shop, and would opt to have my eyebrows died and tinted professionally. This has completely changed my opinion.I was expecting it to look dreadful but I am so pleased with the outcome. It was really really easy to apply, and the results are amazing!!!! The product dried really quickly, allowing me to not worry about it going elsewhere or getting it all down my face. I would 100% buy this again and would defiantly recommend to a friend! Great product that does exactly what it says on the tin!!! It will save me pennies in the future using this instead of getting my eyebrows tinted professionally! Photos show - pre - during - post application.Summary:It was really easy to apply the thick liquid with a small brush so limits amount of mishaps. I find applying make-up can be a challenge due to a disability but this was super quick to apply as well as uncomplicated. So easy to do yourself looking in a mirror. It dries quickly with no drips or smudges.It peels off easily - I went for 2hours as I have dark eyebrows (on reflection should have gone for the dark brown but was too scared!) It has filled in the gaps perfectly with a brown tint.I don't have to use any brow shade or pens - it has worked well and will be braver and get the dark brown in future! My 15yo daughter loved it so much on me - she tried it too - with typically even better results. The medium brown on her medium brown eyebrows has darkened the colour slightly but evenly all over and given her a perfect shape. It has filled in any gaps too and given her brows a soft outline which was the effect she wanted. She went for a 1hr tint. Pictures below show before during and after... I had a pretty disastrous experience with a similar product from Maybelline recently (both in terms of how difficult it was to get good results with it and how far too dark the black and brown shades were) and this one is SO so sooo much better! This one is so quick and easy and simple to use by comparison. No terrible severe skin staining or disasters if you make a mistake - it just rubs off easily and quickly, not horrible and thick and clumpy like the other one - it actually brushes on really easily and is easy to move about, and no clown brows from blitzing the area and being too dark - but instead actually a very nice subtle but full effect.You can leave it on for just half an hour or so and get a really good effect or even better leave it on all evening.It sort of peels off but any residue rubs off really easily, either with a little brow brush or cotton pad or whatever. It does have pretty good staying power and will survive a face-wash or two. For usability and staying power it's a great product. My brows are close to black but based on how horribly dark the other brow stain from Maybelline was I chose to go for the warm brown colour with this instead of the black-brown and it was the perfect colour for me.Great item and at the current price it's an easy recommendation.

I'm not one for products with a gimmick, so when I was sent the Maybelline Tattoo Brow, I wasn't particularly optismitic. I've seen similar products on instagram and they've never appealed to me. However, when I gave this a go I was so suprised how good the product actually is! I'm quite lucky and have full eyebrows hair wise, but they are fair in colour. As I'm dark haired I usually fill in my brows quite a lot. I love when they've been tinted at the salon but it only lasts a few days. I initially left the Brow Tattoo on for one hour (instructions recommend between 20 minutes to two hours for a longer lasting tint). It applied very easily with the small precision brush. After an hour it peeled off so easy,I honestly thought I would have pulled one hairs out but no! It peeled off extremely gently. My eyebrows were left a lovely medium brown colour, making my brows look instantly fuller! To the point where I didnt have to fill them in. I absolutely loved it! I just added some clear brow gel and off I went! It did fade after about two days but hey, for such an easy application and great colour I couldn't complain! Great for in between salon appointments and a reasonable price. I think I've found a new make up bag staple! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
