I've never used a correcting pen like this one before and it's actually quite effective. I have very uneven skin tone due to bad acne and I usually use a mixture of a primer, foundation and concealer. I used the camo correcting pen under my foundation and it proved to be quite good cover. In the photo I've added I'm wearing the correcting pen on the left. You can just about see the difference. It has a pink/beige hue to it. See the picture of the liquid on the back of my hand. This will give you an indication of the colour. The tool itself is also interesting in design. You pull off the lid to find a stylus with a foam tip. You have to twist the bottom A LOT to get any liquid out of the foam applicator.I actually thought it was broken because I had to twist it so many times to get anything out but stick with it. Once the liquid starts to dispense you can apply directly to your face. I still ended up using my fingers to blend it though. My main concern with this product is that I use too much. It will run out far too quickly at the rate I'm using it. And also you cannot tell how much product you have left in the tube which is annoying. I don't love it enough to buy it again but if you're looking for a different product to try a cover up give it a go. You might love it!

I have really deep eye circles, despite being of asian descent and having medium-tan skin tone. I do have under-eye fillers, but my my eye bags are still quite dark. This is a really good shade because of how dark they are, but it can be difficult to cover with makeup (this also happens to me with the LA girl orange concealer). My best advice is waiting for it to try, but it's pretty inevitable that you will have to layer the concealer. (For reference I use the makeup revolution pro concealer in c12, and then I sometimes mix it with the normal revolution concealer in c12.)This creases way less than the LA girl corrector, and the coverage makes it so that you can't tell I have a shadow at all.I also don't use powder to set this, or my concealer. I do mix the LA girl orange on the bottom of my bags because the red is not the right colour to counteract it as it is pretty grey. (I am not quite sure how to fix this yet lol)The applicator is a god send. Best applicator for under-eyes hands down. Quite a dry formula, but I prefer it that way.The only annoying thing is that the packaging isn't translucent so I don't know when I need to repurchase. Not my favourite

Whilst I might not get any brownie points for saying this the other half has had some dark circles under her eyes this past few days. A week in a log cabin in the woods with 5 children, the in laws and persistent heavy rain can do that to you. She was therefore excited/relieved to receive this correcting pen. The first impression was that it was hard to extract from the tube in the quantity required with it either erupting like Krakatoa or barely coming out the size of a ladybird. After a few tries of mixing it with her current foundation she got the level right. As a man with a basic artistic background I could not fathom how this bright red colour would ever blend in. The trick, she found, was to use a small amount and put it directly on under the eyes and blend it in; it worked well and was easy to mix! To me it was like magic that on next inspection the bags had gone and she looked less broken than she had on her return from the woods; so much so I even dared to suggest we did it all again next year.

This corrector comes in a tube with a sponge top. As you turn the base, the colour is pushed up through the sponge. The first time, you need to turn it for ages and then you get a blob that is much too big for under-eyes because it goes such a long way. This amount would cover a biggish black bruise. I find this type of applicator irritating because of the waste caused by lack of control over how much is dispensed. The yellow does disguise dark under-eye circles well without having to use much product. It goes on rather matte, which I found a little unflattering on my middle-aged skin. However, after a while the natural oils in my skin must have come through, because the dry look disappeared. Also, it went on very smoothly, and stayed that way, as long as I was careful to keep it only to the dark bits and not allow it to stray onto the delicate under eye skin further out.Yellow is for blue/black coverage like under eyes and bruises. If you have other problems you need one of the other colours.

This green camo correcting pen is designed to disguise redness and is supposed to be used underneath traditional concealer and/or foundation. I have a tendency to rosacea and often have acne breakouts so I was keen to see if this worked. It has a twist bottom to release the product onto the sponge applicator. Initially I thought it was broken as it took a lot of twisting before any product emerged. Firstly I tried it on the nose and cheek areas but when I applied foundation afterwards the effect was masklike and chalky. When I applied it to smaller areas of redness from existing spots or acne scars it performed better and there was a noticeable long lasting reduction in redness.I found the greenliquid to be very effective but I've knocked a star off for the poorly designed delivery system as too much liquid is produced with one twist and I end up wasting a lot. Otherwise it's an effective solution for neutralising small areas of redness.

WOW! Did not expect this to be so good! I tried a number of other products before giving this a whirl, all others were disappointing in one way or another; they were either visible as they sat on top of the skin, or there was pilling even after letting eye cream soak in. This little beauty did none of that; less is definately more, a few dabs on dark circles, then tapped in to skin with fingers and i was good to go for a no make-up look. It worked well with concealer (Garnier BB eye cream, or stronger Too Face sculpting concealer) for more coverage &/or a more made-up look. I'm 50yrs old and have looked after my skin religiously since my teenage years but i still have fine lines around my eyes; this did NOT sit in the fine lines or exagerate them in any way. Will be chucking all the others away and sticking with this one! I've not seen this in any Boots or Superdrug; need to see this in stores and not just on-line. Highly recommend.

This is very good at what it does - but it is a tad greener than other product I’ve used for this purpose. That said, it does the job of covering reddish areas very well, but you need to be careful how much you squeeze out with the applicator. It blends well, but not quite as well some other makeup I’ve used. The stick approach is nice to use, with a foam applicator, and the camo comes out with a twist of the base; it has a clicking mechanism to allow you to gauge the right amount.Bottom line: if you’ve red patches or blotchy areas you want to tone down, this is a great product to try, and well priced. Ultimately, you might need to try a few to see what works with your own skin colour, but this is a great one to start with.Easy to recommend.

As a guy, I occasionally use concealer and CC cream to subtly improve my complexion. I always aim to keep any makeup as undetectable as possible. This product if used in small amounts can subtly change the tone of dark circles from blue to pink. In the photo, I used this colour corrector and medium CC cream on one eye (left of image) and just medium CC cream on the right. I then used powder and setting spray. Although it might be hard to spot, the dark circles are much less visible, yet it is still unnoticeable that makeup has been used.I have previously tried using concealer under the eyes, however, it is simply too thick. Due to how thin and wrinkled my under eyes are, concealer just creases and is obvious to spot.

The yellow corrector pen is for covering dark areas such as the under-eye area or potentially bruising. On first use the pen needs to be twisted many times before the product appears at the end of the applicator. A little goes a long way and the applicator is fine for dispensing some, but then a finger-tip or a cotton-bud will be needed for finer blending. It works well for covering purple coloured areas but no better than a concealer or eye brightener would be. I would probably stick to a concealer that has multiple purposes than buying a specialist product like this. The purple under my eyes is not particularly intense so if this is an issue for you, you might feel differently.

I received the green version which is aimed at reducing the appearance of redness.... in my case the redness I get from the spots I know I shouldn’t squeeze, but inevitably I do, and end up with a really obvious red blemish! So to get it to work you have to twist the end cap. It takes a while the first time, presumably to prime the delivery stick inside, doesn’t take as long subsequently. The soft felted pad applicator is great except that I kept getting loads more out of it than I needed which was frustrating. The green colour does the intended job of covering the red, it’s just a little frustrating that the amount dispensed can’t be more easily controlled

The green to correct redness is good on fair skin, although you can end up with a green tint so a layer of foundation over the top is effective to get a completely neutral effect. The product is fairly liquid and comes with an applicator sponge. This is good for large areas to be covered but a bit tricky if you have just a small pimple to cover. To get product on the sponge you twist the end.The ingredients are listed under a label on the lid, you need good vision to read the tiny red writing ! These include: water, dimethicone, glycerin, PEG-9, butylene glycol, nylon -12, PEG-10, sodium chloride, and phenoxy ethanol.

I received the Green correcting pen which is designed to combat redness. My skin is pale with red tones and i also have rosacea so anything that can cover that up i am more than happy to use.It was easy to use and apply, the foam applicator felt nice on my skin and what i really liked was that it was good enough to just use on its own and i didnt feel as though i needed to put foundation on top.The only thing i would say as a criticism is that i think this needs to come in a small tube with no applicator so that you can apply it with a blending sponge which will give you a much better effect overall.

Some confusing reviews with this product, its listed with a number of other items which are not relevant to what I have.I have the Pink correcting pen, its a pen with a small sponge type end that the correctors is applied to and this will allow you to apply the corrector.Performance was okay, its good are hiding a couple of small veins I have on my nose end, which is what I wanted it for, the application isn’t great, its took a while to come out and then when I went to reuse it had become a bit gluing on the end.I’m liking this for what Its used for, but the applicator could be better.

This is great because it is such good value for money compared to other colour correcting products and it actually works. I have always found that cheaper versions of colour correctors tend to be useless and not transfer any colour on to my face at all. That is not the case with this one. It is eternally pigmented and will cover absolutely any redness on your face. In fact I would recommend that you are very careful with how much you use as a little goes a long way! It’s going to be a staple in my makeup bag over the winter when I get a red nose. I would highly recommend giving it a try!

It takes a lot of twisting to get the product onto its applicator pad. However, once it's started then just one twist is needed for further applications. The product goes a long way so my tip is to dab lightly over areas that need brightening or concealing and gently blend with the brilliantly designed foam pad. Be careful not to apply too much product as it'll give a caked on look. This pink toned concealer is perfect for light skinned people if they need to cover dark under eye shadows. Simply dab little dots in a V shape under the eyes, blend, allow to dry and then apply foundation.
