There are many reasons for dry or chapped lips – wind in the winter months and dry. air conditioned offices, are just two reasons why you can end up with uncomfortably dry lips. This is a fresh, hydrating lip balm, which helps soothe sore lips. Many in this range of lip balms also double as lipsticks. I have received a plain, colourless version of this lip balm, so was interested to try one that contained a ‘hint of colour.’ However, this particular one – ‘Pink Shock’ really was a bright, shocking pink, so I seem to have gone from one extreme to the other. It is a little bright for my taste, but my daughter thinks it is great fun.It does have a fresh taste and it leaves your lips feeling soft and hydrated.I do like these, although I would go for a more subtle colour myself. You could not use this particular colour like a normal lip balm – you would need a mirror to apply it or you could end up looking quite odd! Overall, though these are a really good product at a really great price and essential in your handbag, especially in the current cold and windy weather.

I already had the Baby Lips Cherry Me and loved it. After applying it my lips feel super soft and I love the hint of colour that is still fairly natural. As such I was excited to try it in the Pink Shock shade. As with the Cherry Me I found it made my lips feel very soft after applying however with both I have found that the effect isn't very long lasting and very soon after I have wanted to apply it again. The colour is a little less natural - it changes rather than enhances the colour of your lips. My other half said it 'looked a bit funny without the clothes to match' (I was slobbing around in jogging bottoms!) I personally quite liked it as a little something different.I would advise using a mirror to apply it - it's not the kind of thing you lather your lips with without a care as to where it goes - you will end up with a pink face and wonky lips!Overall I have noticed a difference in my lips after regularly applying it over the last month or so - they are definitely softer and more moisturised.Definitely will continue to buy it :-)

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro is a beautiful luxurious balm and I simply love it. It glides on my skin leaving them super soft and immediately relieving my dried parched lips which with the cold winter wind or as dry as sand paper. The Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pink shock is a balm which leaves a very slight colour on lips which I have to admit it almost colourless, personally, I do not mind the fact it is virtually colourless I simply love the fact it leaves my lips soft and with no dry bits of skin.I am happy to recommend the Maybelline Baby Lips Electro as the best lip balm I have used in a long time and that includes a lot of top-end expensive brands. Usually,I would say you pay for what you get but with this wonder product, I can honestly say for such a brilliant price this is my No 1 choice now when it comes to lip balms.

I am really pleased with this product. Although I don't wear lipstick, I do sometimes like to wear a lip balm with a hint of colour. For winter, it makes it easy to keep your lips soft but also it means that it is generally easier to reapply throughout the day. When I first received this particular lip balm, I was slightly worried at just how pink it was. I was worried that, because I don't really wear a lot of make-up, it would be really noticeable and not suit me. However, although it looks really pink before you apply it, it actually looks really nice on. For me, this is a really great alternative to lipstick,so much so that I will continue to use it during the summer when I want a bit of extra colour to my lips.A great little product - would make an ideal stocking filler for Christmas.

This is a moisturising lip balm which is part of the Baby Lips range. It says that it provides 8 hours of moisture. It's got a pleasant subtle flavour which isn't anything more than the mildest hint of cherry. It feels really nice on the lips and it does last well. It gives your lips just the slightest hint of pink (cerise bright pink) which means it's quite good if you are having a make up free day but want a hint of colour when keeping your lips moisturised. It's great for popping in your handbag.I do like the Baby Lips range and I like this one in particular for the colour.I usually use a lip balm stick and I've tried quite a few of the well known brands. This one compares favourably with all the ones I usually use.Very pleasant and easy to use.

There are many reasons for dry or chapped lips – wind in the winter months and dry. air conditioned offices, are just two reasons why you can end up with uncomfortably dry lips. This is a fresh, hydrating lip balm, which helps soothe sore lips. Many in this range of lip balms also double as lipsticks, offering a hint of colour – although this particular one is white/colourless, despite being called 'Pink Shock.' Although this lip balm does not offer any lipstick colour, it does have a fresh, menthol taste and it leaves your lips feeling soft and hydrated. A really good product at a really great price and essential in your handbag, especially in the current cold and windy weather.

This is an excellent lip balm and really nourishes and freshens your lips. It is beautifully moist and shiny and it makes your lips glow. I don't know why it is called Pink Shock because although your lips are pinker with it on, it is still very subtle. There is a lovely tingly mint taste to this balm. My only concern is that it doesn't stay on for long and I need to keep reapplying it throughout the day. I do love this though. It is great for me just now when it is cold and my lips are dry. It looks great for day time wear when I just like a subtle glow to my lips and don't like the look of lipstick for work or daytime. This is very therapeutic for the lips and looks nice.

Daughter's thoughts:- My younger teenage daughter loves Baby Lips, and has spent her pocket money creating a large collection in various shades. She loves the neon pink of this particular stick because it is not too bright, and not too pink either. She finds the taste a lot nicer than other lipsticks too. One quality she particularly likes is it's moisturising and healing effect on chapped and cracked lips. It really does seem to "renew" your lips. This is an excellent price too, and a really quality product for young lady's to experiment with. Highly recommended by my daughter, and a lot les shocking that some of the outlandish colours she has collected along the way!!

Once I got inside the blister packaging - which took a while, it was so hard to open - I was pleased by how smoothly the lip balm went on. It was greasy rather than creamy, but for protection it worked well, particularly in today's cold, very strong winds. The colour is a bit stronger than I would have preferred (hard to know how strong it will be before you buy it) but its not overpowering and can be partly blotted off, still leaving some of the protective layer on - this worked for me. It does leave lips feeling soft and smooth, and certainly helped protect them from drying and chapping. I have not tried using it under lipstick, not sure it would be OK for that.

I love Baby Lips - I've got a few already. They come in all shades and flavours, so I was really thrilled to receive a hot pink stick. It doesn't take much to put on your lips - it took two coats before the colour came through, a lovely hot pink. Of course, it made my complexion pop, and it also moisturised them wonderfully. You could leave this bad boy on all morning and you'd still see the colour. It's a sheer colour, not a highly-pigmented one, so it'll leave them with a hint of a tint, not full coverage. That said, it still looks great. I'd definitely get this as it's inexpensive and it does the job.

I have lip balm in every coat pocket so was happy to try this.It smells very eucalyptus-y. You put it on and get an instant cool hit. Not sure how much I liked that. However, like all lip balms that have quite a strong scent (Carmex cherry) the scent and icy coolness disappears quite quickly. Your lips are left slightly glossy and no more sticky than most other balms would leave them. It will come off on cups and glasses but that is no more than you'd expect. All in all I quite liked it and am happy to find a spare coat pocket for it.

This coloured lip balm lasts a long time and keeps your lips nicely moisturised. The neon pick colour is a bit shocking in the tube, but luckily it's not so bright once applied - there is more than a hint of colour but less than with a lipstick, and it looks quite nice on the lips.I'm not sure that it lasts 8 hours, as claimed on the packaging, but it is definitely longer-lasting than a lot of lip balms I have used before. It feels reassuringly 'there' on the lips, and the little pop of colour brightens up the whole visage.

As pointed out by other reviewers, the lip balm you receive is Too Cool - a clear lip balm with the smell of eucalyptus and the tingle of menthol. This will be great to wear in cold weather to keep your lips from becoming chapped in the winter wind. The sort of lip balm I like to have in my handbag so I can put some on whenever my lips feel dry. Winding the lip balm out to it's fullest extent you get quite a lot for your money - so good value. It kept my lips feeling nice and soft though I'm not too sure about the menthol.

I love Baby Lips - I've got a few already. They come in all shades and flavours, so I was really thrilled to receive a clear peppermint-flavoured stick. This claims to rescue your lips and provide immense hydration, something I can agree with! I wore it for about three to four hours and it kept it moisturised the whole time. It's properly tingly too - I could really feel it working it's magic, and it left my lips feeling really smooth. It's a great price, too - great for stocking fillers. I'd definitely recommend this item.

This clear lip balm is scented with peppermint oil which gives it a comforting yet fresh flavour. It's in a traditional little tube so more hygienic than lipbalms in a tin are, it glides on and doesn't feel like you need copious amounts as I've found with certain other brands. It sat well and lasted longer than id have expected before it was ready to be reapplied. It's an ideal time to have been given this for review as my lips had become chapped and were in danger of splitting (an annoying issue I face most winters)
