I love this. The colour is almost exactly my natural lip colour, but the tint adds a shine and smoothness that really brings that colour out. The style of this is generally less favoured these days, as far as I've seen -- the couple of lip tints I have are from Korea. The tints come on a little like paint, and this one is thicker and creamier than my more liquid Korean ones (TonyMoly Delight line, if you're interested). One of the known down-sides of the tint is that they can be drying, and so I always finish with a clear gloss topcoat. In this handy applicator, one end is the tint, and the other end is a smooth lipbalm-like topcoat, so you've got everything you need in one stick. The creamy texture makes it more filling (or is that the dimethicones?), so it doesn't crack across your lips should you suddenly smile/scream/eat. It also doesn't transfer -- the colour is well-fixed, despite two meals (one messy) and endless drinking!* This is why I like tints rather than traditional lipsticks -- although the application is a little fussier and needs a steadier hand, its staying power is much better. With a lip tint, it's recommended to use a lip-liner to outline the lips so the colour doesn't bleed over, but again, the texture of this product keeps it from going everywhere. But it's an extra safety step that could well be worth it, I'll let you know when I review my lip liner![*so well-fixed I don't know how to take it off! I usually remove makeup with a cleansing oil, but oil, toner, and actual makeup remover later, it was still clinging! Tips for proper removal (hopefully not involving alcohol, which dries me out) welcome!]

This is a lipstick and lipgloss duo. The lipstick is a gloopy liquid, applied with a sponge-tipped applicator, and there is a stick of gloss at the other end. The lipstick alone is a tiny bit dry, but much better than long-lasting lipsticks used to be, and with the gloss on top, it really is comfortable to wear. The first time that I tried it, the lipstick didn't last even as long as you would expect from an average one. Having read the reviews stating that it lasts all day, I tried again, making sure that it had completely dried on my lips before adding the gloss. This took about 30 seconds. It lasted much better. A tiny bit comes off on a mug of coffee, but none at all on a kissee's lips after a kiss. The gloss did need to be re-applied fairly often, but in the meantime the lipstick looked OK as it does have a tiny bit of sparkle in it, so not totally flat. By the end of the working day, there was a small amount of lip colour left, which makes this the longest-lasting, and most comfortable that I have tried. You might want to reapply once, or maybe twice at the most, if you want a perfect look all day.The colour was number 312 'incessant russ', which is a rusty warm brown. I didn't expect it to suit me, but it is flattering, and is a good alternative daytime colour. You can apply both lipstick and gloss sparingly for a subtle colour, or more heavily for a real glossy rust hit.I'm a life-long lipstick hater as they have always been uncomfortable and/or gone in 15 minutes. I am slowly coming round to them though, and this is the best one yet.

When they say it's long lasting, they are not kidding. I made the mistake of trying on a bright red version just before bed time. The product went on well and was easy to apply with the shaped applicator. I followed other reviewers' tips and kept my lips stretched in a joker-like rictus for 30 seconds to allow the colour to dry before applying the balm. It looked amazing. I then cleaned my teeth and washed my face thoroughly before retiring to bed. "Why," enquired my husband, "have you decided to come to bed with just your lips made up? In red?". I reinspected my face. My hygiene routine hadn't even budged the glam red one iota. Which was kind of weird in my pyjamas. Cue the next morning. No lipstick stains on my pillow but, boy, did I still have lipstick stain on my lips. I actually had to dress in different colour clothing than planned to avoid clashing. I reapplied and still have bright red lips more than ten hours and two meals later. Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if they will ever be not red again...Colours are quite strong so I'd advise going a shade lighter than you think. I also bought Toujours Teaberry which came out much more purply pink than I thought it would on me so I had to buy a lighter shade. The balm refreshes well throughout the day without colour reapplication. If I had any complaints, it would be that the balm runs out far quicker than the colour.

-- The review is from my wife --This lipstick comes as a 2-part application - the colour and then a coat of gloss - each at one end of the applicator. The colour is a subtle, deep browny-red that goes well with my complexion - it showed great staying power, lasting well throughout the day the first time I tried it, but did need reapplication twice to keep it looking fresh. The lip colour goes on smoothly and sparingly, so I predict this will last quite a while. The gloss gives a good shine and moisturises - and I also found I could use it on its own without the colour underneath for a daytime look.I suffer from very dry lips which normally makes lipstick uncomfortable and uneven, but I didn't have these problems with this product. All in all it's a good product for the money that does more than just colour - it also moisturised which is a big plus for me.

This lipstick reminds me of similar long-lasting ones that were launched in the early 1990s. They also had a paraffin-type moisturising stick to counteract the dryness of the actual lipstick. However, unlike the early versions, this one is far superior. It doesn’t feel especially dry, but you will need to apply the wax as a topcoat to add shine and to prevent it looking flat. The russet shade is rich, deep, and makes your teeth look very white. The lipstick lasts the whole day, but regular applications of the moisturising stick may be necessary - depending on how many drinks, snacks you have. Also, the colour did not transfer to my Mother’s cheek after kissing her. This is a very nice lipstick and the colour is a true russet.Personally, I still prefer a moisture-drenched traditional lipstick, but if you want shiny glamour, this would be a very good choice.

This is a superb lipstick that works like a lip stain. The first part is the colour, this goes on smoothly and takes about 30 seconds to dry. For a deeper colour you can apply another coat. Once it's dry you then apply the gloss. This gives a perfect moisturised finish. I advise using a lip pencil to avoid lipstick bleed. The lip colour leaves no mark on drinking vessels. I trialed mine for a whole day. It survived buttered crumpets with no need for a touch up! After endless coffees, crumpets and a roast dinner with wine the colour still looked as if it had just been applied. That's 10 hours of eating and drinking. What amazing staying power! Removing it takes some doing.I used face wipes intended for waterproof makeup and a little moisturiser to get the residue off.

I have Relentless Rouge and Incessant Russet. I don't think the range of colour choices is as wide as the old Infallible, however, this is a fairly new product, so I am hoping new colours will be added. Much better texture than the old Infallible. I preferred the old style packaging, as it was mirrored and I like gold or silver packaging! This product lasts and last without going 'crumbly' and without feeling uncomfortable on lips. Colour really does last on me for 24 hours (I slept in it one night to test!). The colour faded very slightly but evenly. So the cons for me would just be that more colour choice is needed and the old style packaging was more useful and more aestheticallypleasing.

This is L'Oreals long lasting lipstick with the lip shine stick that they have produced for years. This time the lipstick is in one end and the shine stick is in the other. I'm sure I still have old lip shine sticks as they always lasted longer than the lipstick.Anyway, it is much the same as far as I can tell. Make sure your lips are clean and grease free. Apply the colour, there's a built in sponge wand. Let this dry for a few seconds then you can apply the shiny salve as often as you like.Lasts for ages and only the salve comes off on glasses and you just re-apply as necessary. The colour is Incessant Russett and it is a nice russett-y shade. I'm happy with this colour.

This is a two in one lipstick. At the top is a moisturising balm - which tastes lovely, and at the bottom, is a gloss lipstick, in a russet colour, which is very flattering. It is ideal for winter, with the moisturising element, while the gloss lipstick works both for day or night. It is a bit different, but I really liked it. The russet shade is like a bit darker than natural, close enough to enable a flattering day time look without being over the top, and yet as a gloss, it still comes in as glamorous enough to work at night. The moisturiser does work all day, although the gloss will need re-applying.Highly recommended - this one will become a regular fixture for me.

When I was younger I used to use lipcote over my lipstick and then apply a little gloss. This has the same effect. It's a two step product that has a lip colour that goes on sparingly first, with a lip balm top coat to cover it once it's set. It lasts surprisingly well. The lip balm doesn't survive food and needs to be reapplied, but the colour stays really well. It doesn't dry my lips and it doesn't feel sticky after about five minutes. The colour I tired was subtle and understated, not in your face at all. The thing I don't like about it is the taste. It just doesn't taste pleasant to me and the taste of your lipstick is there the entire time you're wearing it.

Brilliant lipstick range! I've tried and tested many lipsticks and these are by far the best. Their colour pigmentation is superb, this combined with the perfectly shaped brush enables you to colour your lips in one smooth sweep. The lipstick works like a stain and really does not budge. I've trialled this by eating greasy foods such as crumpets, chips and doughnuts. The colour stayed true with no need for even a touch up! My lips stayed moistured too, as the 2 stage lipstick comes with a gloss to apply after the colour has dried - which only takes a few seconds. Another plus is no nasty marks on drinking vessels and no smudging after romantic assignations!

The product was tested by my wife who provided feedback for this review.I love receiving Loreal products, on the whole I have never had a bad experience. Double ended lipstick with the lip gloss on one end and a lip balm which can be applied on the other end. The lipstick is slim enough to fit into handbag, pocket or purse. The colour is unusual and a variation from my usual pinks and reds, the colour matches my medium skin tone well. The lip gloss gives a nice colour and gloss, whilst being able to survive several hours of a busy day. Overall helps prevent lips from drying too much last a while and is an unusual colour to boot. Recommend.

L'Oreal Paris Indefectible Lipstick is one very nice lipstick which is slightly different from other lipsticks as it has two parts plus it has the added ingredient hyaluronic acid which has anti-aging properties. I do not know about the anti-aging properties but I do like to use this lipstick as it does last well on lips when instructions are followed. The results are long lasting, the colour goes on first then follow with the balm which adds a nice glossy look, this also seals the colour which provides a barrier for the lipstick allowing it to last longer than other lipsticks.

I’ve never used this kind of lipstick before – it is a 2 stage process.First you apply the colour and let it dry, then you apply the top coat and allow that to dry and you are left with a nice looking lipstick. The initial colour appears to be a stain which does last for several hours, though not necessarily 24.I like the idea of being able to lock my lipstick, but not the idea of a stain - I like to be able to change my colour with my outfit and with my mood – but if you need a colour to last all day without having to top up all the time this is close to perfect.

i bought this as wanted long lasting lipstick on me seems to vanish fast, i loved the colour and the idea it was 24 hours and the 2 layer, the first goes on easily and looks great, you then need to apply the coating to this after this is a little tricky as it goes mess with the base layer you have added but if you are really careful and do not go over to hard its fine too much pressure it all bunches up and looks messy, it also certainly doesn't last 24 hours though mine managed about 4 but did look nice but not quite what it advertises .
