This Buzz Lightyear toy astronaut helmet is pretty impressive to look at. It's the right colour green and purple, it has a working visor that's operated with the touch of a button. The helmet also emits a whole string of Buzz Lightyear's phrases and sounds.Well made from robust plastic, this helmet also lights up ... 3 x AA batteries are needed but are not supplied which is disappointing considering the high end price of this toy. This helmet comes in five pieces which require connecting together, this is easy to do, however once put together it can't be taken apart again.My five year old foster son, a real Toy Story fan thoroughly enjoyed playing with this helmet ...

This is so easy to put together and arrives in a lovely good quality box so no damage as its well packed.. A little annoyed that the box shows the arm lasers etc but these do need to be bought seperatly and some kids may assume they are inside and be dissapointed.Its well made and easy to click everything into place, one assembled you can't take it apart BTW.Its bright and the exact right colours for the buzz character. The rear piece which forms the jet pack and wings goes on like a rucksack and can be adjusted.. Nothing on this works or does anything, it's just for show.The front piece rests on the shoulders and can be strapped in as well. One button on the front does all the sound and speaking and is the exact buzz voice so sounds great.

This toy comes in a huge box, so, should you be looking for a present which has that wow factor, this will impress when wrapped. There are, actually, only five pieces to snap together, so, once you have put in the batteries, it is easy enough to assemble. Putting it on involves straps – this has to be fairly tight, or it goes off balance. The issue is, as other reviewers have pointed out, that it is fairly heavy, and bulky, for young children. My nephew would have it on for a couple of minutes and then want to remove it. As such, it is not ideal – perhaps just a basic Buzz Lightyear costume might be easier and allow for more free play.However, saying that, the voice is correct,

First impression are a very well presented Buzz Lightyear helmet, it looks amazing, has the visor which you can pop up and down, buttons which have difference phrases.Only down side is its a bit big and a bit heavy, It reminds me a little of the Transformer Bumblebee helmet which was great but too heavy to be able to play with, this is similar in weight and size.However we have had great fun with our family, nephew’s nerve’s have given it a tough test and its still in one piece, looking as good.We really like this, it’s a shame it’s heavy, it won’t fit everyone, was a little small for one of our nephews, think he has a slightly bigger than average head. However its great fun, looks amazing,

Swaying about how to rate this but for little kids it's awesome. My 8yr old is a bit too big for it and my 2yr old a bit small so ideally for ages in between.Easy to assemble, this aligns with the new Toy Story movie. Comes with the usual phrases you'd expect from Buzz but best but is the helmet closing using the button. Very cool and a cool sound to go with it too. This slips on over the head and rests on the shoulders and is pretty light.She the other accessories cost more to buy but this is fun at any time for little kids or to complement an existing outfit.

Bought this for my 5 year old nephew's Christmas as he saw it on TV and was asking if santa could get him it. I bought it for him and set it up which was fine, the construction is great, easy to set up and is a fantastic little toy. Only one small problem is the weight. After about 5 minutes of play he was sweating and struggling to keep it on his shoulders. He is not a small kid either and relatively big for his age so if you decide to purchase keep in mind that your kid may need to be strong

A highly attractive interactive helmet toy for any budding Buzz Lightyear - its brilliant!Perfect for using alone, but we have some Buzz pyjamas which my son wears too and literally he is in 'heaven' pretending to be his hero Buzz.Downsides is the size of it - it needs a place to live and so we had to clear a space on top of the wardrobe for it; and also battery life - if this is used 'properly' then you'll need to bear that in mind.Great fun and perfect for any Toy Story fans.

This is a great fun toy, that takes fancy dress to the next level - your child can literally become Buzz Lightyear (who everyone knows is the best character in Toy Story by far)!The helmet fits on and has working buttons, as well as the hand glove, with lights and sounds including the iconic phrase "prepare for lift off"!It's a bit heavy, but it's sturdy and durable - there's not really any assembly required either, it's click in place and go. Such great fun - recommended!

This is easy to assemble with great instructions..but cannot be taken apart once put together. It says phrases when you push the button. It's nice and colourful in the buzz light year colours. The button on the helmet flips down the visor part. I liked that the voice sounds just like buzz. This is a great toy but it's very pricey. I agree with the reviewer who says that it should be in the £30 range.

Other reviewers have pointed out the drawbacks of this Buzz Lightyear kit. It's a tad on the bulky side, and may not appeal to every youngster, but for those who enjoy acting out a favourite animated character, it's a lot of fun, and capable of engaging a child for hours.I have docked it one star because of the 'bulkiness', but on balance, I think this is a great gift, and lots of fun.

Will be the echoing cry around your formerly peaceful home after this fun and funky dress up costume is received.Aspiring Space Rangers will have hours of enjoyment acting out the adventures of Buzz Lightyear in an accurate and pleasingly detailed suit.Mainly a space helmet with cross over belts attached, really what else do you need ?

A must have for any toy story fan ! My son loves to role play in this and has decided he wants to wear it with his buzz costume for Halloween this year . Very sturdy and has buttons which say buzz light-year phrases when pressed and it's easy to fit . It's just a shame this did not come with extras like gloves , costume etc luckily my son already has the costume.

Great toy my 3 year old son loves it. Downside is the shoulders are quite a tight fit, so if your little one is a bit on the broad side (like mine!) it may not fit securely. Dont get me wrong it fits, but not as secure as I’d like and for him to be comfortable to play in. Its also a bit on the heavy side. Shame really. Apart from that its a great product!

My grandson went hysterical when he saw his Buzz lightyear helmet. Great buy. I will say on looking at the picture at the product it looks like you get the wrist bands but you do not, they are sold separately. I did not buy them as they fire little disks which I thinks is a bit to old for my grandson, only reason.

Bought this for our 4yr olds birthday. He’s had so much fun with it. The only issue is although it says for age 4 up it’s a little heavy and doesn’t fit properly on shoulders. My son isn’t a small 4 so really it fits a 5 year old I would say. But he loves it
