With a Buzz Lightyear fan in the house this was always going to go down a storm and needless to say was met with great enthusiasm and cries of awesome! This is the control panel wrist communicator from Buzz's forearm (not the disc launcher) which is meant for communication but also shoots the three missiles out at the press of a button. The projection on the missiles is really impressive - impressive enough to give a little warning about not pointing these at anyone's face/eyes when playing as they really do shoot out. This is great and really good fun, but it doesn't do a whole lot more and it would have been nice to have had a at least a little noise or flashing light or something when you pretend to use the communicator,

This wrist communicator has been a big hit with my 3 year old nephew and daughter who both love the Toy Story characters; we brought it along to a family party recently and everyone, including the adults, got a great ‘buzz’ out of playing with it! It has all the fun elements that a child might enjoy with a toy gun for example, in the sense that it fires projectiles, but with none of the inappropriateness of one which is really good.It comes with 3 projectiles and can fire 2 at a time. It doesn’t need batteries as it has no lights or talking bits; it’s actually quite a simple toy. It fits easily onto a child’s arm and is a good size at 5x3 inches.Overall I think this is a straightforward toy

What fun this toy is for little Toy Story fans - Buzz Lighyear's wrist communicator - what little fan could resist? My grandson just loves it! He has a lot of Toy Story kit and just adores playing with it all and making up stories and scenarios from the movies he has seen - and this addition to his collection has really added a lot of fun to his games. He is always speaking earnestly into the communicator and firing off the secret missiles hidden inside - all of his stuffed toys have been in the wars! This is a good quality, well made toy and it has an adjustable strap to fit a nigh-on any sized child's arm. And, unlike some of the other toys created for this particular movie franchise,

I thought that this was a nice toy for a child who is a fan of Toy Story. It is limited in what it does and relies on a child's imagination (which in my mind is not a bad thing). I did think it was a proper communicator which would have flashing lights and batteries, but it is not. The projectiles do come out fast though, so please be aware of this if there are younger children around and watch what they are doing. I would not like to think of these shooting into a child's face. A lot of fun to be had here - just keep an eye out!

If you have a youngster who loves Buzz, this is a great toy to get although Grandad will need to keep a wary eye out as he takes his tea!As an adult, the execution of the toy is a little disappointing being a little basic and lazy, relying on stickers rather than paint!But at the age, this is designed for, this toy is a great gift and any young boy will enjoy aiming the bullets and firing!It's a little clumsy in how it fixes to the arm, but not to the point where it spoils the fun.To Infinity and Beyond!!

Previous reviews almost put me off buying due to jamming issues with the orange bolts. However our 3 yrs old loves it and isn’t aware it should fire bolts ( we removed them before he had it) he loves pushing the buttons and sends pretend bolts , in no way does it spoil his fun, however older kids wouldn’t be so gullible and jammed bolts would be a great disaster.

To my mind, this doesn't do a lot and so I expected a lukewarm reception when my grandson tried this. However, just goes to show that it doesn't matter what i think... he loved it and played make believe by himself for hours. I'm not sure how long it will last as it doesn't seem to be as durable as i'd like, but who knows.

My son was so excited to open this and wear it on his birthday. The discs are extremely hard so warning to all siblings, parents and fur babies. KEEP OUT OF THE LINE OF FIRE. this was an excellent purchase and fit well on my small 4 year old boy. And to answer every parent's question: yes it does fit on adults

This is an awesome toy! My son got it for christmas and he loves it. Great quality and fun even for mom and dad. Almost every review states that refill discs should be made available and I couldn't agree more. 5 discs disappear within minutes and the fun is over. I hope Mattel will offer this soon.

A must have for any TS fan, this is Buzz’s arm shooter which has had a lot of use in our house. It has withstood a few fights between my 2 and 7 year old over who’s turn it is, at £15 a bit overpriced because once you have lost the projectiles, there’s not much else it can do. Fun role play though

My grandson is a Buzz Lightyear fanatic so this is an ideal present, it was the only piece of the costume he hadn't got. The darts which fire from it are just right for play, not too weak not too powerful.Disney have got a reputation for quality, and it shows in this product.

I loved it kids loved it easy to work fires 15 to 20 feet enough to cover to full rooms but only came with 5 disks every one knows what kids are like the disks get lost its useless need to be able to get more disks so pleas come out with packs of disks

Probably a bad idea to buy this but it’s so much fun. What kid wouldn’t want to pretend like Buzz?! My niece lit up when I gave it her. She loves playing with it even if other don’t like the occasional thing hit them In the face. Very happy!!

My nephew is mad about the Toy Story films so he really loved this. The little projectiles shoot quite well but there definitely isn't enough force in them for anyone to get hurt. The communicator sounds good and similar to the films.

Decent toy comes with1 x Buzz Lightyear Wrist Communicator3 x ProjectilesI would supervise when being used so that the projectiles arent accidently aimed at a child, the quality of the wrist communicator is good seems durable
