This is a smaller buzz figure, in line with the 7-inch scale figures and True Talkers. However, his smaller size and slightly lighter weight may be more ideal for smaller fingers to handle. He does contain electronics, so the weight is higher than that of the posable only Buzz. I will note that his “walk” is more of a shuffle (triangular pieces in the bottom of his feet spin to propel him forward). However, as a space ranger, I could imagine different terrains and gravities could make this the safest way to traverse an area. Also making him actually lift his legs and bend his knees to walk doesn’t really seem feasibly worthwhile, so the design works for me.Buzz has 3 oval shaped buttons on the right side of his chest and a larger red button on his left. The 3 oval buttons each trigger a single phrase without motion. With just a single press, the larger red button unlocks a little series of several features in addition to multiple back-to-back phrases. These include him turning his entire torso in both direction, forward and backward walking, raising his laser arm, shooting his laser (blinking light and sounds), and deploying his wings! It really looks like he is moving around to check out his new surroundings and then “reacting” to them. He even gets nervous, aims his laser, shoots his laser, and will shuffle backwards some if needed. This was WAY more than expected on features, and it is adorable to watch. It makes me want to add an extra star to this review! I’m hard-pressed to find many cons for this guy. I do wish they made a full movie scale toy with his features, but, again, this was for smaller fingers, so I am okay with his size. It may have been nice to see additional separate buttons for laser only and wing deployment, so that we could activate just one of those in a more user-directed play. (His red button is more of the mini scripted stories). However, it is not a large enough con to dock any stars. I also would have liked there to be a second piece of his helmet so that the helmet could be opened and closed. Overall this toy is a decent size and weight with a ton of clever features added! Ultimate walking Buzz has a very true likeness to movie character with voice, movement and pop out wings!Son liked the fact the arms were posable, and the working lazer, and is now calling buzz his best friend. As a parent I like the fact clear instructions on how to change batteries and toy functions are enclosed in box.The toy is good quality and robust, there are only 2 negative points, my son wanted Buzzs helmet to open and close, unfortunately this isn't a feature, and the lazer button on Buzzs arm is not a feature you press just decoration. The lazer light works with the buttons on the chest of buzz but my son was trying to push the lazer button on arm (decoration only).The box is appealing and the toy does everything it says on the box. My nearly 5 year old didn't want to put the toy down once out of the box, great toy for toy story 4 fans. Stable toy while walking! Best on table or similar surface, although it does work on a smooth carpet too.

This Buzz Lightyear toy is a really good, well thought out and well made toy that ties in perfectly with the movie franchise. There are a lot of features! The arms are movable, he walks by himself, the wings pop out, he has many different phrases from the film, and his laser lights up!There is a lot of playability with this toy; used alongside other Toy Story toys, children can easily recreate their favourite parts of the films, or make up new stories. He fits in well as a stand-alone toy though, or with non-Toy Story toys, due to the many functions he has.We struggled to find where the batteries went (inside the jet pack, 3 x AAA required), and the on/off switch (under his left arm).The only real criticism we had is that the visor on the helmet doesn’t move up/down, but it looks like it does.

I got this for my 4 year old son and he loves it! I was surprised that my 7 year old daughter loves it just as much! They love the sound effects and think it is hilarious when Buzz moves around and knocks something over. When they play with this toy there is constant laughter from them, which makes me a happy mom. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that Buzz doesn't actually walk as the product claims. He waist area turns, his legs don't actually move, so he just wiggles around.But even with that this is such a fun toy and I am so glad we have it in our collection. The Ultimate Walking Buzz Lightyear is a great toy that any Disney Toy Story fan would enjoy and love! The features that come with it are great as well. Buzz walks and moves his upper body with a twist as he talks and walks. His wings close and when you press his red button his wings open! The different sayings are great too as he mentions the new character Forky! My daughter loves this toy as well as me, a great addition to our Toy Story Family!The only thing I would change is that his helmet covers his entire face inside of just the back half. OMG. ... folks, I imagined it would walk talk like I remember back in the day? A few sentences? NOOOO this thing walks and talks but literally like he's reading from move script! He wanders around explain the mission objectives and more. Then the absolute JOY on the face of my 2 year old grandson! ! as his wings pop out his lazer blasts..... is suitable for under 3yrs with supervision. For the price THIS ARGOS TOY PACKS A HUGE PUNCH FOR TINY INVESTMENT KEEPS KIDS ENTERTAINED FOR DAYS !

My daughter loves her little buzz, she already has Woody and Jessie so this completed her collection perfectly.Although size wise, he's not quite right for her Woody and Jessie, but not a huge issue.The only thing to keep in mind is, although the wings can pop open, it can't be done manually.His wings only pop open when buzz actually says 'wings deploy' (or something along them lines) when you press his interactive button.But overall great buy, would recommend!

I bought this for my sons birthday. He was 3 and is toy story mad. This buzz is brilliant. It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be but actually, it's so interactive, the size makes up for it. It's priced really well for what you get. Walking is an issue on the carpet, he more shuffles but my 3 year old isn't bothered. His arms, legs, head and wings all move. He shoots his laser beam and has lots of phrases. It's very fun and a must have for any toy story fan

This Buzz Lightyear is very cool and exciting for any older kids that are interested in Toy Story! My son is 5 1/2 and really enjoys playing with it (and tells me how much he likes it). I would say it's for 5 and up (not 4 as listed, unless they're very mature). They have to be ok with leaving him on a flat surface and pressing the small buttons. When this toy arrived I had my doubts, Jack who is just 4 seemed initially very unsure about Buzz, who was walking and talking, but within an hour were best buddies. They are now inseparable. Conversations flow between them both and I often hear howls of laughter as Buzz has said something funny! This toy has brought so much fun to him and has exceeded all my expectations. It is very well made and well packaged. Highly recommended.

I obtained this product a week ago for my 5 yr old son. Let me just say that this toy really comes to life the minute you turn it on. With great features like Buzz walking and deploying his wings. But the best part is watching him shoot his laser!!! I’m not sure who had more fun playing with it, my 5yr old or me. Definitely recommending this toy to all the moms in my circle.
