As someone who had been on the fence regarding this particular title, before deciding to pull the trigger on my purchase and try it out, I can safely say that trailers/online footage, (which portray this as a somewhat tedious 'warriors'/'musou' game) doesn't really do it much justice as they fail to convey the sense of fun to had with it especially with a group of friends. The massive cast of marvel characters, each with their own distinct abilities, in addition to modes like 'Infinity' where you can take on challenges with any team you want, and the various options for levelling up your character's ability/growth, keeps the game feeling fresh. To be sure, it does have its problems,(the camera sometimes tripping out being one of them, and the combat's not as deep as I would like it to be), but the good definitely outweigh the bad. Very happy with this addition to my library of switch titles, and i would definitely recommend it to any Marvel fan.

Once you get past the simple nature of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, you'll realise there's an oh-so addictive game that lies within. The reviews saying how 'badly' the game runs aren't entirely accurate either. In handheld mode, you will see a drop in resolution, true, but it's still completely playable. In docked mode - how you should be playing it - we experienced minor frame drops but mostly a solid 30fps throughout the entire campaign. Nintendo no doubt needs to put out a more powerful Switch, but this plays well regardless. The camera can be annoying, but again, this was a rare occurrence. On the flip side, there's a great deal of content, a host of awesome Marvel characters, and once you get into the Infinity trials, this baby is tough to put down. It's lovely in co-op too. Nintendo and Marvel: more, please.

I enjoyed the story in the game but not as much as I thought I would. Could just be infinity stone fatigue though. Graphics are pretty decent but the camera angle should have been kept to the way that the first two games had it. Plus there were countless times that the angle of the camera would have scenery blocking what was happening on screen... Has for the gameplay it is as good as the first 2 games of the series. What took me a while to get used to was there was no grab button like the previous games as well as the simple combos that you could pull off in the previous games. Is this a game of the year contender? No but it is highly enjoyable and can be picked up and played anytime anywhere game.Certainly recommend that you play through at least once.

So far so good.definitely feels like an updated version to the old ultimate alliance games from 10 years ago.enjoying it so far just as much and so far I’ve been impressed with the choices of characters featured on the roster.good fun to try out all their powers etc and the personality of the characters so far are all accurate.im just hoping once iv finished the game there is some replay value as for a years old marvel fan I just don’t want it to end.although I must again state I’m not at all impressed with day one dlc,if it’s on day one why isn’t it included in the game!but altogether a very fun 3rd game in the series and glad it’s a Nintendo exclusive!!

I’m a huge Marvel fan I’ve played the other ultimate games and wanted this on ps4 but apparently it’s only for switch so I have in and got it.It’s great so far I’m enjoying it the only problem I have with it is the sound it’s the only game I have to turn volume up full on my switch every other game is below 50% and is fine. I thought it might have been just mine but after I googled it other people were complaining about the same thing. They could do an update to the game fixing the issue but nothing so I feel people should know that.

A great game with good replayabilty. Have had a few camera angle issues so far but other than that me, my girlfriend and my nephews really enjoyed playing 4 player while trialing every new hero and heroine as they are added to the roster.*editI am disappointed with the alternate costumes as they are only colour changes to the character not a different costume.I hope that future updates will give new costumes for free but for now it loses a star

It is filled to the brim with Marvel goodness. Combat system is kinda lame, mostly just pressing the same 3 or 4 buttons over and over again. To add: Dr Strange boss fight gets really hard all of a sudden. And who the heck is Elsa Bloodstone? Random lesser known character shoved in to even out the character roster. Why not just add Daredevil as playable instead? He's in the game, but not playable! Be warned! (I still enjoyed the game though.)

I bought this game for my 10 year old son, although the game is simple in design it is very addictive. I enjoyed playing this game with him. The graphics are good and the controls are simple to master. I would not recommend this title to an older child such as a teenager but for younger kids it is ideal. All the major Marvel characters are playable in this game including Iron Man, Deadpool, Wolverine etc etc.

I love the chaos that comes from the MUA Universe, and this version for the switch definitely pays off. For any fans of the original two, then I am sure you will enjoy this one all the same; and for those new to the series imagine Diablo 3 meets Marvel. Here's hoping that Nintendo will work a deal to bring a port of MUA1&2 to the switch now.

Marvel ultimate alliance 3 is a game for playing with all the family. The controls can be abit over complicated and the camera angle can be annoying at times but it doesn't detract from the overall gameplay.Theres a wide option of characters to choose from with various levels. So if you want a multiplayer game this is fpr you.

Been tracking this game for a while and finally bought it.Only played a few hours but so far the game is amazing! It has enough characters for most people to like and pick a team from. The graphics are excellent. If you want an action rpg with Marvel characters then you need to buy this. Will update

Good game. It’s a Switch exclusive so the graphics aren’t going to set the world on fire, but the gameplay is good. The camera can be a little janky at times. The story is a predictable Marvel affair. If you enjoy Marvel or button mashing action games you will enjoy this. Pleased with my purchase.

I have a great time playing through this game. It fits right into the marvel universe we all know and love with a great spin on the infinity saga. Gameplay is easy to pick up and there is a flow to all the fun and madness.Definitely recommend adding this one to your Switch collection.

Lived the first two when I was a kid and so the new one had me excited. One of my friends came round and we played through the whole thing on coop in a couple of days. Fun bosses are the highpoint but some of them have huge difficulty spikes such as Dr strange. Would definitely recommend

21.7.2019

Clean Basic graphics, good story, but great game play and very consistent frame rate. A must for fans and no regrets for causals. Many different characters to choose from and upgrade. Some inconsistent difficulty spike and one painful mission that's much to long.
