I already have 2 of the 1400mm guide rails but as I have to ease a lot of doors over carpets in new build apartments where we are not always allowed to use the lift, having a shorter guide rail makes it a lot easier to lug up and down the stairs on my dewalt trolley that has a cordless dust extractor and another box for the makita cordless rail saw. The 1400mm rail would be right under my chin making it difficult to control the trolley so well chuffed with this shorter rail.

Works well with my Evolution track saw. Great quality. Now, the plastic splinter guard is usually trimmed off when you run your saw along the track for the first time. This would give you an exact cutting edge. However, it seemed that the Evolution blade was already lined up exactly with the splinter guard out the box. Just thought I'd mention this to any prospective Evolution track saw owners. Good product and a notch above the Evolution tracks.

Great quality rail, as good as FesT, with minor differences, that are + and - in minor degree to some users. Anti-flip lip is great with Makita saws, but does in the way of some other saws. Rubber anti-splinter guard has better grip than PU on some other makes, but is less durable. Rail ends are truly as square as 90° can be, unlike some other, even cheaper alternatives.

Bought this to run my Macalister plunge saw on and the quality far outweighs the standard rails. The sticky pad on the back is 1 million times stickier and that alone is worth it. Size is perfect for me as have the standard rails to extend it. A decent rail and a decent blade makes the Macalister a capable saw.

Great sturdy construction does the job you need it for. Works well with the adaptor for the jigsaw. Would be great if it came with adaptors or with the link kit to join two of the rails together. Overall great quality product arrive ind a good time.

This is a 1m great for shorter jobs like doors or side cuts on worktops. If cutting large sheets go for 1.2 or bigger. They can be joined together to make them longer. Most plunge saws will work on the track but circular saws will need adapters.
